Do we know anything about his childhood? His deviant behavior would be alarming enough if he were a serial abuser, rapist, murderer of only one type of victim. However, he seems more than willing to target anything, from the system (illegal drug distribution), to MM and females of all ages, to sheep!!!

I'm very curious about his formative years-NOT that it would excuse anything in the slightest. It just might help me sleep a little better at night, still believing that there are usually signs we can recognize if we're vigilant enough. I don't want to believe that some people, despite a happy, loving home in which their needs are met, grow into monsters like this. But I have to concede that all of our advances in medicine and science and social science not withstanding, sometimes there just aren't any answers for why abusers, rapists, and murderers do what they do.

Maybe they were caught out for a crime themselves and they did a deal for a lighter sentence by telling police about Brueckner and his video collection.

agreed, ty. clearly there were regular trips between portugal and germany. the box factory would have been an ideal place for more drying out of marijuana. but it was raided in feb 2016... i am sure his drug connections would have noticed the police were onto CB too. i wonder where CB stayed in germany after that, in his last few months of freedom? feb 2016 to june 2017 is probably another decline in behaviour.

CB living in Foral {again, in the same house!}. Vila Bianca with Oliver S and Karin S. could have been caught right away, because he attacked Oliver, who had given him a job. Karin called the GNR but the guard did not see that CB had an international arrest warrant. [1]

The couple met CB through fellow German Bernhard P.

P 2016 September 12. European arrest warrant for sex offences

P 2016 September 22. 'alcoholic' CB broke OS’s nose in an assault - but OS revealed CB was allowed to walk away without charge after cops failed to spot a European arrest warrant was already out for his arrest for the German sex crime. European Arrest Warrant had been logged 10 days earlier for the German sex offence.

P 2017. CB age 40-41. back to Portugal.

P 2017 May 3. CB Watching MBM 10 year programme in bar. Allegedly makes confession about his MBM involvement. CB then shows video of rape of 72 (73?) year old American to person in bar.

P 2017 june. arrested. a playground while the Fiesta de Caracol was taking place. CB was seen by 4 kids, ages 9 to 12, as he masturbated just below where they were playing. The children ran out and called their parents. The parents of these children called the GNR of Sao Bartomoleu de Messines.

Hmmm?

The owner was just renting the property out to various people. She may not have known CB was staying with the couple renting it in 2016. She doesn't seem to have mentioned it in her previous interviews with the Press. If she did know, would seem strange why it's been kept out of the news until now.

That was in 2007 though. Sounds like the stolen car they refer to in the video is when he went there from Germany in 2016 since they talk about BP explaining it to them. IMO.
