Several things struck me. THE ELT's will activate THEN be impacted by water . AF 447 was in a different part of the world and quite out there where are there are known lets say black holes in communicating! MAL was much closer to land masses, in an area with all sorts of electronic monitoring" stuff! THe notion that noone picked up one of several ELTS indicates that it did not crash.
The notion of a "soft water landing" in a swept wing jumbo jet , with hung engines under the wing can in no way be a "soft landing" - its akin to saying an aircraft without landing gear can make a "soft" landing on concrete ! A soft landing is a physical impossibility, airspeed is too correlated with being able to remain "flying".
Get to slow, what happened to Air France happens - it stalls and falls!
The notion of "soft" is more about aircraft integrity as opposed to soft as it used in everyday context.
The G Forces , in water , of either landing gear and then engines impacting a large mass and interfering with forward motion would meet activation ctiteria or be pretty useless. Human tolerances as far as G Forces go are pretty limited! To set an insturment to a g force activation threshold so high that the occupants would have exploded defeats the whole reason for ELT in the first place - to rescue survivors in the event of a crash!
There certainly have been , like all things electronic, failures - bit in MAL instance if it did crash I would supsect MAL Air to have let the batteries expire!
But when you take the totality of the evidence, over two months out we have:
- no elt
-no debris
-no bodies
-no wreckage
-no distress call-
-evidently no transponders from the ocean
-no debris on the floor of a large amount of ocean
there is no "conspriacy" angle here-- for any individual to concude, in light of the above-mentioned and more , that the notion that MAL 370 is intact, on land, is well, nothing, other than a reasonable conclusion , by a reasonable person, in light of the known facts
with NOTHING to challenge such a conclusion.
It has been fascinating to me that this far out , when NOTHING leads that way that most are still in the "ocean" theory - defies logic!
The only "fact" in over two months is that MAL vanished THAT is the only thing known thus far. In reality there is no evidence whatsoever of a "crash" on land or on water. The absence of any evidence regarding either a water or land crash, IMO, ought to lead one to conclude that nothing crashed.
Its like really believing that something is "red" even though, for months, all we have found is yellow, green, silver, blue, purple, crimson, violet, orange, white, beige, black, gray, aqua, lavender, pink, blue green,gold,- it might be time to challenge our notions surrounding "red"!
We can also, after over two months, be correct in questioning "experts" that have launched the "ocean" conclusion, pretty instantly, after the 8th, in that nothing "red" has been found, seen, heard or witnessed!
The only eyewitness "stuff", in the whole affair, is folks (shortly afterwards) saying they saw a large jet, flying way to low, with red and white markings!!!! It is also signfiigant that in those reports, noone said they saw an airplane in distress, experiencing engine problems or flying erratically. What they did describe was a plane , flying very low,( like millions of jetliners do in preparation for landing) in an area, that we all have learned, is rich with runways that can easily accomodate the Boeing 777.
These things we know.................................
A PS here, I went to Wiki to explore what the media has eagerly teased as other aviation mysteries (giving the impression that this happens with some regularity). What I found was basically many airplanes that had " vansihed" in the 30's 40 50s 60 's when aircraft navigation was in its infancy, search technology non existant and propeller aircraft to put it bluntly - just not reliable.
. None of those realities and nuances are attached to the history of "vanished" aircraft - although they are huge and in reality result in MAL being a first on many many dimensions - which possibly ought to lead to other notions that are relevant to technology today, and its capabilities which in MAL case has never been observed before.
To put MAl in any of those categories, IMO, is to stall finding out the truth regarding where the plane is and what is going on..........
