I don't think he was talking about the skull. A skull after that length of time would not be white. I would be almost black.

I don't think anyone could definitively say that the skull would not be white after about two months post-mortem. It entirely depends on what happened to the remains - which we do not know. It's possible that the skull was outside of the bag and appeared white in mid-August. It's also possible that the skull was no longer white by mid-December.

What I am curious about is -- when the MR met with LE on Aug 13, did he take them directly to the suspicious round white thing below the white board?

True - unless the bones were not there all that long or they had been chemically bleached.
Why on earth would someone chemically bleach Caylee's remains?!

The bones were scattered all through the area...over an acre which goes along with the bones having been there for an extended period of time. They will be able to tell with how deep they had to dig and other factors a reasonable timeline for the disposal, imo.

Preface this by saying I believe KC to be 100% guilty and solely responsible.

My husband worked utilities for many years, not water, but same principles apply:

Utility workers use dispatch, just like LE and emergency services. There is a lot of communication and information passed along just to keep the wheels turning so to speak.

To a utility worker, the streets don't "look" the same as to others. A utility worker sees the infrastructure, i.e., areas have to be marked before digging, outages, problem stretches, i.e., overgrown rights-of-way, for a water system leakages, yadayadayada. They also have access to information about accounts, i.e., cutoffs, meter locks, etc., as needed through their dispatch.

Utility workers talk amongst themselves and with the other utilities, i.e., phone, cable, water, sewer, electricity, probably even waste management.

Not saying this to be so, but it seems very likely the utility workers in this area had discussed Caylee and just wanted to BOLO to help out, so to speak, if not formally asked to do so by LE.

And I find the MR's "urination" excursion completely plausible. Folks, many, many males do this, just way too easy. I'm from the South though, so it seems normal to me?? Plus, just goes with the territory of working utilities, you have to work long days, it's hot in Florida, he probably drinks a lot of fluids, a meter reader would most likely be parking his truck and walking through the neighborhood, so why wouldn't he heed the call of nature?

This is probably on the wrong thread but someone above made me think about it. Is it that far out there to think Ric should be a suspect. Cloroform was found in KC trunk and he also had cloroform on his computer. They dated but according to the text message from KC to Amy, it appears they had a fight and broke up. I can't remember the conversation but it was something to the affect that KC loved him, but he wouldn't open up, then she left him and started dating other men, then he wanted her back. At some point she tell AH they are no longer friends. We also know she lied to him about being someplace when in fact she was with someone other guy at Fusions? Lastly, KC makes reference to Ric place being set up a lot like Zani's. Is she telling us Ric is Zani?
We also know either Ric or JP did not want Jesse in their place? Why? Jesse is ex LE

So what I am getting to is motive. Does he have one? Anyone care to discuss or should I take my post elsewhere?

I don't mind discussing the possibility, but we should move it to the thread on Ric, imo. (Which I have searched for and have not found yet!)

I answered your post on the Ric link, W.

Why would Casey cover for him by using the story of Zani

Thanks for this post, very enlightening.

Do you mean black from dirt and mud or does bone darken from the elements. I don't know. If you mean from mud, then maybe a recent rain washed it off.

I think we was talking about a skull because I thought he said something about round and white and then eyes...I have to go back and listen. But I think she was describing a skull without using the word skull.

No, bones turn dark with time. It would not have been white.

Did the Anthonys have their own tip line?

ETA: Or did their private investigator(s) have a tip line?

What color is a skull that has fairly recently been defleshed by maggots?

Thanks hot Dogs, I was just about to pull myself away and eat lunch. Love being at work today, nothing to do but websleuth..yeah!

A hunter found this deer skull. Why is it white instead of dark?

I have to get this off my chest also. In the phone calls the MR says he saw something round and white. Was he refering to a skull? If so, how did he see that through a black garbage bag? If the skull was outside of the bag then why tell LE he picked up a bag and a skull fell out? Also, did he lie about having to pee in the woods? I mean if he had reported seeing the bag twice before why not just say he was following up on a previous report or something of that nature. Why make it sound like this was the first time he called in? I know everyone is different but i think I would have just said, I called you guys 3 times and this suspicious looking bag is still here. Did someone check it out or what?

The original story I heard was that he accidentally kicked the bag and the skull fell out.

Back up and read the posts in this thread from last night. There are media reports saying that the MR found the skull outside of the bag in December. If that is true, then the skull may have been laying exposed on the ground back in August. That means that the round white thing he first reported may have actually been Caylee's skull. We don't know.

From watching forensic shows the skulls look pretty white to me.

What I want to know is exactly how deep in the woods was the body? How far would this guy go to take a leak?

I've worked with guys out in the field for a different reason and I do know they communicate with each other.

My thoughts exactly.

On Aug 11, he said he didn't want to go into the woods because he saw a dead rattlesnake. When the dispatcher asked him about approaching things he found suspicious - he said no... dead snake is holding me back.

Something isn't right about this but I still don't know what.Do you call LE whenever you see a bag dumped somewhere? What was it that looked suspicious about it anyway? :waitasec:
Maybe I am missing something here.
