I like this picture of Jonathan and Jenny. Lol. I'm now ready to rob a bank so me and the family can buy 1 of those nice houses that y'all see in the back. Lol

I love beachfront homes for some reason. Jmo.

I'm glad that Jonathan and Jenny did have some good times. Jmo.

If she is alive and not being held against her will, I can't imagine that she wouldn't check in with her parents...unless she didn't want to be found or reappear until she's ready and on her own terms. She may feel that she has no choice but to worry them until she has "found herself." I think she wants to find herself without JR.

I think it would be pretty hard to ditch him in Seattle. Maybe she felt trapped and didn't want to embarrass him, so disappearing in Mexico would let her leave easily...establish herself somewhere cheap and contact her parents when she has succeeded. For all we know, she has let them know she is OK by now. I certainly hope so.
 
Normally if a client is unsure I would recommend to ask about tipping, and if it is required, and how much extra money is expected. But there are forums just like this one dedicated to massage parlours, escort services and such.

I also think it is possible that Jenny has decided to disappear on her own terms. But she would definitely need help from somebody. I think it would be close to impossible to do it on her own.

And I am more than happy to take on the assignments hehehe! I will start with the podcast tomorrow. This will be good practice for me!

They should post that on Spanish only facebook pages. Jmo.

It's like watching Dateline in a foreign country without subtitles. Jmo

He doesn't have a big Spanish audience on that page. So he is not catering to any of his Donators at all.

IIRC it was mentioned earlier that Chinese newspapers reported that Mexican authorities told Jenny's parents that she was seen in May? How reliable is this information?

I think the article was in May. And her parents were probably told in May. But I don't remember them actually stating that she was seen in May. I think they did tell the family that they had reasons to believe that she was still voluntarily traveling after the reported missing day of supposedly 4/12.

Now did Jenny do all of her mobile uploads on 4/11.

Because when you go to her mobile uploads. It has the date of 4/11. But I see she had other pictures up before then.

But the mobile uploads are not all in her timeline.

So I wonder if her or whomever did a batch mobile upload on 4/11.

Idk.

JR said it wasn't reliable and was dismissive. I don't know how he would know that. However, we have never seen this information about Jenny backpacking in May anywhere else but the Chinese embassy news release and Chinese news article. It's possible that Mexican authorities are trying to cozy up to the Chinese for business and tourist purposes by saying that Jenny is OK. Or the Chinese embassy is in cahoots with the Mexicans to pacify Jenny's parents. That seems a little farfetched to me, but it approximates what JR wants us to believe.

My sense about Jenny (if she is alive and doesn't want to be found) is that she could be very persuasive with anyone who recognizes her. I think she could convince someone not to reveal her location. I hope she is hiding out somewhere but as time goes on it will be less likely. As JR said at the beginning, she could have been trafficked out of the country and be anywhere.

That's a good question about the mobile uploads. If Jenny did a batch upload on 4/11 it could be that she knew she'd be traveling and wouldn't be able to. Or...??

Regarding traveling in late May....According to the embassy press release, Mexican authorities said Jenny was still backpacking in late May. Of course, we don't know how they proved it and we don't know if this translation is completely accurate. Now if we could just find a Websleuther who reads Chinese!

After much investigation, Mexican police provided encouraging information to prove that Chen is still in late May in the south of Mexico and more hitchhiking trip

The embassy planned publicity. I wonder what came of it. Could they have reached out to the Chinese community in Mexico?

I agree. Most online translators are not good with certain dialect. Now 1 Spanish to English translation of one of the articles referred to Jenny as a he several times. Now el is speaking of man an la is speaking of women. Plus el means the as well. Lol

Then we have a English speaking person reporting information to a mostly Spanish speaking person. And then they relay the message to a mostly Chinese speaking person.

And then it's up to Google to translate all information given by people who probably had misinterpreted dialect when explaining their findings to others for the sake of them having something to report to someone else in that persons native language which isn't their own. Lol

I'm so confused. Lol.

So I can only guest that future spouse killers are taking note. Lol

Except for the ones that need to produce a body for the life insurance. Jmo.

But some will wait the 10 years for the state to declare the spouse dead. Jmo.

But honestly. I don't think JR had a big life insurance policy or any at all on Jenny.

But I do think he may have access to whatever accounts she had established. Jmo for now.

Well said! So much is being lost in translation...even reading JR's English! :D

Regarding life insurance, I hope not. One Mark Sievers is quite enough.
 
The one question that I would like answered is whether JR took out life insurance on Jenny and if so, when and for how much. <modsnip> And I hope LE is checking all of her mobile and cloud activity. IMO, she's either running away from her husband and in is hiding or she has already been killed and disposed of and I have an idea of who likely did it and why.
