1. The abduction of Jacob was alleged to be sexually motivated.

2. The above NY Times article states that "abductors" usually don't have access to children,
as those that do have access, have opportunities to groom, befriend, and gain trust of their
victims. Dan would have ample opportunity to access a victim, as he has daily contact
children. Dan has never been proven to be a child molester.

3. Dan did not go to bed, he states in the interview in the above link that he searched the
out buildings, and went to bed late.

I don't agree in full with the article from the NY Times, in that I think there's more abductions than 115 per year, but this article was printed in 2002, and I don't think LE on all levels knew the depth of the growing pedophile ring problem, and how many violent offenders weren't caught, or their crimes not documented properly.

Also, I do feel that Dan could possibly know more, and he may be more of a witness now. He has stated that he's wanted to help investigators, and he may have been TOO forthcoming.

I did not realize before I saw this that they were actually looking for Kevin. I'm thought he told a Marshall and the investigation took an immediate turn.

I think Jacob was stalked, and the abduction was planned. I think DR is very strange, but I'm not so sure he's capable of abducting, and possibly murdering a child.

There is no verification of a cabin in Avon, only a post by "Mary," whoever she is. As to grad school, do you really believe authorities have not thought of this?

No I didn't miss it, but you saw photos of a cabin on one of his sibling's fb page. What does that tell us really? Where is it, who owns it, how long have they had it and did DR ever have access to it? Those questions can't be answered by a photo on a fb page.

one thing you can take away from looking at the priests and the accounts from the victims is that there doesnt appear to be one instance of one of them using a gun or a disguise to cooerce their victim. They are not abductions, they are straight forward undiguised attacks. Just being a monk is all they needed.
