I have no idea what the connection, if any, is and I'm not interested in him. As I asked before, what does this have to do with BreeAnn's case? Nothing, as far as I can tell. At this point it's just a rumor that this guy is somehow connected to SM anyway, but even if he is I don't see why he's relevant.

In my opinion I think it's relevant. The relevance is that the family (if this guy is indeed related) is far from what at least two sources were quoted in the media as saying. I remember one saying the family has been there for a long time, and there was never any trouble out of them. Another said SM comes from a good family. Obviously that is not the case. Good families don't kill children. And a bomb threat, to me anyway, indicates previous trouble.

And as far as the bomb threat goes, to me that shows a controlling nature as well as some problem with impulse control and rationalization. EVERYONE has irrational thoughts. I can recall work related instances where I've had irrational thoughts in regards to my boss. For instance "If he puts one more thing on my desk I swear I'm gonna kill him" but it's just that... an irrational thought. I had no real intention of killing my boss and was probably just overwhelmed. MOST people do NOT act on irrational thoughts! Apparently when SM has an irrational thought ("If they don't fire W, X, Y, and Z I'm going to make a bomb threat") he takes steps to actually carry it out.
 
I'm just not comfortable looking into the family of a person who has been arrested. If there's an immediate or extended family member who is suspected of being involved, then fine--check him/her out. Otherwise, it's just gossip to me, and way too intrusive.

If I'm alone in thinking that way, then that's fine, too. We each have our own comfort levels with things like this. And I don't know what WS's policy or practice is about it.
 
This has nothing to do with anything, but it struck me as interesting. Breeann disappeared on what would have been JonBenet's 21st birthday. I know it's just a coincidence, but I just happened to notice it. Such short little lives. Hard to imagine JonBenet at 21.

FWIW, good families can have bad members.

I can't imagine any "reason" SM could come out with that would be understandable to me. He is evil IMO. Is he evil because he was abused, because his father was beaten to death? Whatever reason doesn't matter to me.

When this case started my wife was upset that the amber alert had not been issued and she proclaimed so at every newscast.
I just casually followed it until SM was arrested.
I was so stunned to find that a local man 43yo with no prior record,,, that worked where I did,,, could have done such a thing.
That is when I became interest/obsessed with this case and wanted very much to understand WHY.

To "ME" seeing that Shawn Morgan had a nephew that killed a small child was a rather significant fact,,,, what are the odds of that?

It is said that Shawn Morgans father was beaten to death, "I have NOT seen proof of that yet, but think it may very well be true"

I think it's really interesting, too. I don't know if I'd call it family values or what. Of course good families can have bad members, but I'd still think that the family would be troubled by this.

Wow, that's really powerful. 300 people marching down the street, showing a baby that her little life meant so much to so many. That is humanity.

I know Breeann was watching.

The crowd listened quietly, as the officiators attempted to bring closure to the family, speaking of the wonders of God and reciting the poem, "Jesus Loves the Little Children."

Just breaks my heart. That's a powerful photograph. Sweet Baby Girl, I'd turn back time for you, if I could.
 
The picture alone brought tears to my eyes, this was such a senseless act by this man. No one should have to bury their baby because of evil.
 
I did drive over and attend the graveside service,,, not much to report.
I did stop at one of the 164 bridges that cross over the ditches where Breeann's body was thrown and I counted 6 cars in 5 minutes,,, it is a rather lonely stretch of road.
I felt a little weird stopping there,in light of what happened,,, but in ordinary times you would not think anything about someone parked there.
I also timed it to senath ,10 minutes to the edge of town.
From his house 12 minutes would be an easy 1 way trip.

It may just be a local thing but certain families in this area just stay in trouble generation after generation.
I'm not saying that every individual in these families was bad, just a lot of them.
Like the grandfather ran a still, the father was a bookie , the son sold pot , the grandson cooks meth.

and no child should ever have father or mother that would murder their child, or someone else's. Those poor children of SM....I can't imagine:(

Community says 'Good-bye' at Friday evening ceremony

To begin the ceremony, Mayor Joe Lane first took the podium, saying the Rodriguez family wanted to have the ceremony so that everyone in the community could experience closure from the events of the last few weeks.

"We all got to know of BreeAnn quite a bit and we all love her very much," Lane said. "We love this family. Most of all, we love each other and we want to stick together throughout this and throughout the coming days. It doesn't matter who we are, what we are. We need to go back into the days when we watched after each other, not try to gig somebody for something."

He then noted that all prayers are with the Rodriguez family at this time.

After speaking, Lane asked the Rodriguez family to come onstage for the releasing of the doves.
