In the comments section, they are saying that Judge Kamp was the judge for Reynolds case....makes sense now!

Judge Kamp was involved in Reynolds case...take a look at this article...

Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney Morley Swingle filed a motion early Thursday that Reynolds' case be assigned to a special prosecutor. Associate Circuit Court Judge Gary A. Kamp assigned the case to Boone County, where assistant prosecuting attorney Andrea Hayes will handle the case.

I really don't think he offered up any information about Jacque and her disappearance.

I hope the forensic tests come in soon so they can charge him with murder.

I read that article before. I think I found it posted on the Justice for Jacque FB. I wonder when his court date is?

Wow, this article has a lot of info I'd never heard before.

It's two of Jacque's closest friends talking about things in detail.

Worth the read

here is a snip

In January 2011, according to her friends and family Jacque started talking about moving herself and the children to Farmington with Cheryl and her husband Bob.

“Jacque had made numerous attempts to leave Clay during the months of January through March,” Kristin said. “She would pack up the kids and take enough clothes and things she needed for the weekend with the hope of going back to the house to get the remainder of their things.”

Kristin and Elizabeth said that for over a year before Jacque went missing, she and Clay separated numerous times but would get back together until she finally left for good in March 2011.

“It was hard for me to understand why she’d return to him after he’d made all those threats. It’s also hard for me to explain it but I’ll try,” Kristin said.

Cheryl said during a phone call Wednesday that two days before Jacque went missing Clay’s entire persona changed. “After a year-and-a-half of threats at the mention of ‘separation’ or ‘divorce’ suddenly he acted like he was accepting the divorce. He even told Jacque they could part as friends,” Cheryl said.

On the day she went missing the couple met with lawyers. “He [Clay] was mad because he didn’t walk away with a chunk of money like he’d hoped. He raised hell in the lawyer’s office because he wanted the cash. Jacque had already given him $14,000 and he was furious when he realized that money would be considered in the divorce settlement,” Cheryl said.

“Even after I warned her not to trust him after all the threats and violence,” Cheryl said, “She told me she thought maybe he’d turned a corner.”

This is so sad. I just hope and pray they find her and prove what he did. My hope it that he did have her abducted and she gets free. I know that is unlikely but I just can't stand to think that he has either killed her or had her killed.

How can a man who loved someone, the mother of his children, kill a woman, abuse a woman, threaten and make a woman's life hell?

I'll never understand.

God Bless her family and my God help him!

Well then maybe Mr. Reynolds shouldn't practice law where judge Kamp presides. I would think there would be constant "conflicts of interest" for Mr. Reynolds and judge Kamp.
I gotta say.... CW sure picked a mighty fine lawyer, didn't he?

I'd be really surprised if that body turns out to be Jacque. Winfield, MO is a good 150 mi. or more upriver from Cape Girardeau. Stranger things have happened, and while I know there is a period of time Waller is unaccounted for, I don't think it was enough to allow him to dump her that far away. JMO.

If a person were to go by water how long would it take? Didn't he have a boat?

Does anyone know if Jacque would be considered "large framed"? She didn't appear to be large framed to me based on her pictures.

From the article posted by EMERALGEM:
The body was retrieved around the 254-mile marker, which is seven miles north of the Lock and Dam in Winfield, Wilson said. Emergency crews put in and out of the water on the Hamburg side, which is in Calhoun County.

It would take a lot more time by water, and CW wasn't unaccounted for that long. Depending on the motor on his boat, which is not very big, it would take at least 10-12 hours to get from Cape Girardeau to St. Louis and Winfield is north of there. I don't think this was possible unless he went by land and that's over a 3-hour drive one-way.
