Sorry...the thread is moving so fast so don't know who posted that mom flagged down LE in the yard.

Who called 911 and from where? :waitasec:

I would like to see the phone records. I think I'll sit back on this one for awhile. Something doesn't smell right.

In the video the father says, when he came home he saw that "most of the lights were on", so than he right away started running around checking on the kids.

With him saying that, it make me think the lights being on would not have been a "normal occurrence" otherwise he wouldn't have right away started running around checking on the kids.

Remember reports that dad went banging on neighbors doors? Perhaps a neighbor loaned their phone.

I'm looking to find the answers...here's what I've found so far:

"We ran around the house screaming for her, and I said, 'Call 911," Bradley said. "And the phones weren't on the counter where we left them." Bradley said three cellphones were taken, one of which was not working.

Monday October 3, 2011 10:00 p.m. Last seen in crib wearing purple shorts and purple shirt with white kittens on it.

**Possibly seen by Mr. Parscale (a man that lives in the area) according to his wife Lisa around 12:00 a.m. Tuesday wearing only a diaper being carried by a male. Quote from Lisa--“He seen the guy act like he was going to go into a residence,” Parscale said, “but then my husband drove off so we’re thinking that maybe he was just doing that so that my husband would leave.”

**Parscale says her husband saw the man walking on a street perpendicular to North Lister, where Lisa Irwin lives with her parents and brothers.

Tuesday October 4, 2011 3:30 a.m. (first report stated it was 4:00 a.m.) Father returns home from work and discovered baby missing from crib.

Tuesday October 4, 2011 approx. 7:00 p.m. amber alert cancelled. Lisa is considered a MISSING/ENDANGERED JUVENILE. Per police the alert has served it’s purpose. Police and dogs will search for a while into the night.

Officers searching for the child focused on areas near the family's home such as railroad tracks near the north side of the Missouri River and a wooded area behind the home. http://www.fox4kc.com/news/wdaf-aut...rch-for-missing-baby-20111005,0,6273053.story

Next news conference sometime this afternoon.

2:00 news conference—Jeremy spoke with Deborah (Bradley?) by his side. Begged for baby to be dropped off somewhere safe. The brothers are waiting to see their sister. Declined to take questions.

Again, Capt. Has no leads, not ruling out anything. 300 knocks and searches. 46 tips. No ransom note. Family is free to go where they would like. Family does not want to be at house.

**Alleged sighting of Lisa with a middle aged white male and female at a Love’s gas station in St. Joseph, MO I-29 and US HWY 169. Driving older model SUV. Article came out around 5:15 p.m. Surveillance video has been turned over to LE. Police say it doesn’t seem to be a major lead.

**Jeremy and Debbie provided LE with a list of 9 names of people that could be possible suspects.

**Per Debbie regarding cell phones and possible other missing items:

~one of the cell phones did not work.. all three were on the counter and she was in the midst of reprogramming them/putting numbers into them

~phones were gone

~she did not notice if anything else was taken.. all she cares about is that the baby was gone.

** police detectives are meeting early this morning to talk about where to search next.

**per Debbie, “Lisa is very sweet and will go to almost anybody.”

I would like to see the phone records. I think I'll sit back on this one for awhile. Something doesn't smell right.

Yep, nothing smells right when a child is missing. I too, will wait to draw any conclusions. After following so many of these missing children my suspicions run in all directions now......

Dad on phone with Fox now..... he arrived home to find front door unlocked, lights on, Lisa to bed at 7 pm, mom to bed at 10:30 after checking on Lisa, five year old son was in room with mom sleeping, police told them they do not think window was a point of entry, other info was mostly what has been stated previously.

The dad was just interviewed on Fox News Channel by Matha McCallum. He said the LE told him the window was not a point of entry and no forced entry at door that the door was probably left unlocked.

The fact that dad gave names of 9 possible suspects is very concerning. How many of us, God forbid, would have a child taken and think of 9 suspects?

I wonder if mom volunteered at the school. Were the boys involved in any extracurricular sports activities? Had a previously unknown person inject themselves into these activities posing as a new resident?

The lights being on should not be a big deal. When my husband is not home I tend to turn on the porch lights and might even leave a light on in the kitchen. She may have left lights on for her husband so he wouldn't bump into things when he came in from work.

My children have some lamps that you turn on by touch. They have a 60 watt bulb so the first touch is 20 watts, the second is 40 watts, and the third touch is 60 watts. They may have used a lamp in her room as a night light. It's easier to check on your baby in the night if it isn't pitch black.

We also have sound machines in all the children's rooms. That way if our dog barks, or one of the kids call out it doesn't wake the other kids.

I think the suspicion comes from us not wanting to believe that this was random. If it is random that means it could truly happen to any of us.

BBM as to the lights. It was reported that when Dad came home from work the front door was unlocked and several lights were on in the home. He found this unusual, as it was not the normal practice for lights to be burning in the home when all were asleep.

This leads me to feel the lights were a big deal and suggests that the perp or perps turned them on and left them on. It also suggests that the perp(s) exited through the front door, leaving it unlocked on their way out.

Jeremy Irwin says he immediately knew something was wrong when he returned home from work early Tuesday. After checking on his 6- and 8-year-old sons he went to the bedroom of his daughter, Lisa, and found her gone.

http://www.ksdk.com/rss/article/280105/3/Parents-of-missing-baby-make-tearful-plea

Ron Ikenberg sat on his front porch Wednesday night and watched FBI and police continue to search for Lisa.
"An FBI agent was in that dumpster ripping open bags of trash just to see if there was any evidence. They have been thorough. All we can do is keep your eyes open and call police if we see anything suspicious," said Ikenberg.

In the last two days police said they have searched at least 300 homes surrounding the north Kansas City home where 10- month-old Lisa Irwin was last seen at 10:30 Monday night.
People like Ron and Jasmine Thatch opened their doors when police asked to search.
“They just walked through and asked names; police looked in closets," said Jasmine Thatch.

sorry if this was already posted

Catching up here, have read all three threads this morning. Just wanted to say I just watched this video and it is obvious to me Lisa's mother is simply terrified for her little girl....please Lord I pray, let precious Baby Lisa be found, alive and safe, today.
I feel the same. I thought the way she moved from bouts of sobbing to speaking clearly and calmly was a very valid display of emotion. I cried with her. I pray today is the day Lisa is returned.

The dad was just interviewed on Fox News Channel by Megan Kelly. He said the LE told him the window was not a point of entry and no forced entry at door that the door was probably left unlocked.

Or someone had a key? :banghead:

It's really strange why the cell phones were taken.
The obvious would be to prevent 911 from being called, but that would mean the perp(s) knew there was no land line.
The perp(s) may call someone on the contact list for a ransom. But they don't appear to be rolling in money unless they have a wealthy relative?
Maybe they are listed on a contact list. but surely LE has looked in to that?

Within a certain age group no land lines are really common and they may not have thought of it.

Other possibility is they were there and easily pocketed with no time lost so he grabbed them, with no plan re 911 just wanted them.

Leads me to think someone impulsive. Which makes sense because if it was he who turned on the lights, that would be impulsive.

I can see it with ppl sleeping if bedroom doors are closed. He could tell too in a bungalow.
