Almost caught up on thread, on pg 50 of thread #2 and first post here. Have been following since day one and wanted to contribute some of my thoughts as a local of KC.

1- I find it highly unlikely that she walked away from the club with little to no cash that evening seeing as it was the farthest the KC Chiefs have made it in the playoffs in years and it was a home game. Chrome Club is right next to the stadium and always runs promos for games, my money would be on that place being packed with drunk football fans both before and after the game.

2- The escort scene is very prominent in KC, a friend of mine who worked at a up scale hotel downtown says that it was easy to pick out the escorts showing up to the hotel and it was a very common occurrence.

3- My friend had his car stolen from 39th and Main in KCMO, cops never found it. Cars can disappear in KC very easily, I can not provide sources of any (not in my field of expertise) but am fairly certain that there are a fair amount of chop shops in the area.

4- When going through Toni's tumblr a few days ago (i have not revisited to find the link to the post maybe one of you saw it) there was a post where she talked about how "she used to be in school, used to have a good job at a nice hotel, but she also used to be miserable" (not a direct quote if someone can find it that would be awesome) What I'm getting at is she was re enrolled in school, her parents just moved to KC to be with her and maybe that is the exact opposite of what she wanted. Perhaps she was glad to be away from her parents, not in school, not working a normal job all of which are things that interfere with the lifestyle of one who likes to travel the world and go to music festivals.

5- I find in highly unlikely that she was involved in a car wreck (at least locally) and they have not found her vehicle yet, as others have said it is a high traffic area and the roads were not bad- we hardly got an ice storm if you can even call it that.

Obviously all speculation and JMO but that is where my head is at on this case, I sincerely hope she turns up unharmed.

There are reports from MSM that her parents live in Wichita and are staying in KCMO with friends while they look for Toni. See the link to the story from KSHB on the first page of this thread just before the picture of the cell phone.

I swear I read somewhere, I think in an interview with someone from their church in Wichita that they used to be next door neighbors of the Andersons and their daughter had grown up with Toni but they had recently sold their house and moved to Kansas City to be closer to their daughter but honestly I have read so many different things that could be my error or falsely reported, I will look for link when I have some time.

As for it being busy at the club because of a game, are you sure that the predicted ice storms didn't keep people away?

I don't think it influenced it because it did not stop 80,000+ people going to the game, the weather people predict bad weather here all the time but the locals don't really stay inside unless it actually gets bad.

True story. I have been to packed stadiums when a blizzard was howling outside. Nothing like loyal sports fans.

I really hate it when these cases start to stall out after a week or two.......no new updates, no new information, nothing about search warrants or suspects...............it just flattens out.

I wish all of these cases could be like the young lady , Laura Lynne Stacy, that just disappeared in California on Sunday , LE found her car abandoned and her phone discarded, but she was nowhere around. They just found her today walking along the freeway, alive and well. 3 days start to finish.................perfect !

That was a surprise.

Further... on the morning of jan 15th at 2am there is a report of a poss/sale of drugs. Also at 2am is an assault. At 11pm a car theft. The drugs report is just a bit north of 152 on North Green Hills rd.

Not saying anything about these being connected, but rather to show their is this kind of activity in that area.

The poss/sale of drugs, is also less than a mile from where I believe Misty Creed was supposed to be going to eat on 1/22 when she disappeared.

So... I am still looking at much of what I have said, and I don't want to say it's connected, but just wanted to show that if Toni was heading north, this area could have been a destination.

If she was going north to 152 and green hills road, she would have taken 169 or I-29. Very unlikely that she would take Route 9.

I just noticed that on her twitter she said on July 21, 2016 that she won a court case that she had been fighting for almost a year. Sounds like she was able to beat the charges.

--

Here's a question: is it possible that Toni didn't realize you need to actually power down your phone so that it can't be tracked? I just find it very strange that she disabled her car tracking device, but left her phone powered up. If she wanted to make sure she wasn't tracked, why go half way?

I think we should try to find more information on that court case. I know it is trickier with a few different police departments and court systems in the area, but that could open up a new avenue of thinking.

I searched for her in NKC, Gladstone, KCMO, and KCK courts - found nothing.

Just finally caught up.

MOO is that her bf or soddi. Simple.

She was not some highly sought-after sugar baby with jilted sponsers, nor a player in a big time drug operation. This is not some conspiracy on the part of LE to cover up a for a CI.

C'mon. We have missing 20-year-old who lived a fringe lifestyle.

Sadly, I fear this will not end well, although it may turn out like that obnoxious little girl from Oregon (?) who smashed her own car, freaked her parents out and then reappeared after MONTHS with a smirk and a head shave.

But I think Toni is dead. It makes me sad, but I am kind of WHAAAA? about all the elevated status as a major player placed on her. She was not that sophisticated.

I may be wrong, I often am.

To this I will just say that not everyone who is a victim portrays that side of themselves to the world. That "obnoxious" girl has used her experience to help many in similar situations who thankfully, because of her, have not ended up on this forum.

Just wanted to point out that the missing page on Facebook had been updated to a discussion page, not a "missing" page.

Wonder what's up with that.

I hope we know more soon..

What case was this?

No, it does not. To be honest, I'm not sure what all courts to search (city, county, state, ect).

Maybe some others can help me here, but I'm pretty sure she used to live in Wichita. I *think* I read she's been in this area under 2 years...? That's the courthouse records where we should look.

She could also had a run-in with the law while traveling out of state, I suppose.

Wow. This is HUGE!

On July 6, 2016, Toni tweeted that she was not going to go back to college in the fall because there were too many amazing things to experience and she did not yet know what she wanted to do with her life. She felt 25 was a more appropriate age for college. She would rather be spending her money on travel and experiences, rather than an education she didn't even want.

That was for the fall semester, but now, 6 months later, she was about to start the spring semester.

She went missing Sunday morning, and was supposed to start School Tuesday morning. I wonder if the tuition was already paid? If it was paid, I wonder if anybody collected a refund? That would be a sizeable amount of money. (Maybe $4000?)

True. I live a couple hours south and we still had people drive up to the game that I personally know.

What is MOO? Also - I believe he was talking about the paragraph at the end of what you said.

MOO= My Own Opinion

Which we are encouraged to use whenever sharing our OPINION on a subject. So I did.

Third image. This is my depiction of the traffic stop from overhead, to match the above 2nd image. The colors are the same as in the above image.

- Blue shows police car.
- Yellow shows Toni's car.
- Green dot shows pedestal.
- Red rays are from camera. Note again that the right ray touches the corner of the pedestal and the front of Toni's car.

I drew the cars in the middle of the road because I just can't figure out where on the road they actually are, frankly.

By the way, in the video, the police officer turns off his flashing lights before they leave.
Toni signals a right turn and starts to turn right. This would be a mistake, because you can't turn into the QuickTrip off of Burlington going north, as there's a median. It looks like she realizes her mistake and turns off her signal, but the video ends right there. I do believe she ended up going straight across Burlington on 26 Ave, but that's a bit of a guess. She may have driven north a block and then had to come back.

Thank you for that demonstration......I have been over and over that video MANY times and saw it from an entirely different perspective. I too used the pedestal as a guide but it was STILL difficult.
When you show it with the rays, I see it now.
The quality of the video certainly doesn't make it easy!

Why?

Because I read this thread from first post to last and saw the theories become grander and more auspicious?

I said it was MOO, but that I did not believe Toni faked her own disappearance, not is she a CI, nor a high up operative in a drug cartel.

How is that disgusting? I think the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

Can you elaborate on why my theory is disgusting?

So...I really want to stay focused on finding something helpful to Toni's case, but I'll speak for myself here.

I welcome your opinion. And as I have said, I think she was either harmed in a sex/drugs exchange or left on her own.

I am willing to entertain and test and try to build off of other less likely theories because THAT'S ALL WE HAVE RIGHT NOW...ya know? :)

The last bit in your comment about Toni not being that sophisticated...I think that could make people bristle a little bit bc she's been judged/shamed on the internet. While my choices in life have been very different than her, I also acknowledge a lot of women who choose riskier paths do so because it feels like the only option accessible to them. And doing so doesn't cancel out the possibility that she's brilliant...or sophisticated...or capable of orchestrating something complex.

Still, and again, I'll emphasize that you and I agree on likely outcomes. I'm still going to sink my time into thinking through all outcomes though because there's a 20 year old woman missing...a life is at stake...and there's a grieving family that wants her back.

I don't think you meant any harm, so I hope you stay and join us and add your point of view to the mix. :)
