IF we are to believe that the evening of the 15th turned into a battle royal between CA and KC and it ended with CA basically attacking KC by putting her hands on her-then poor Caylee must have been frightened out of her wits! To see the 2 most important people in her life going at each other I'm sure got Caylee crying and she may have tried to stop them in her little way! God knows what she heard or saw! This may have led to CA "tucking" them into bed-just to calm Caylee down and let her know everything is alright.
But, everything wasn't alright-KC is still mad and she's not going to just get over it because CA said to. CA may have said to KC "I"m sorry and we'll talk about this tomorrow when we've calmed down abit." Caylee is probably having a hard time calming down also-she might be trying to get out of bed to go be with "CECE" and that's probably Pi$$ing KC off too. Poor Caylee is only 2 and she might be saying things like a 2 year old does like "I want "CECE" , "Let me go", "Mommy bad" (who knows what she heard at NAN's house). This may be when she gota dose of whatever to make her sleepy and calm down, cause I'm sure KC is still raging inside and can't cope with this. The medicine or whatever may have led to the duck tape which led to......who knows what. I think it was a snowball effect-one thing led to another and Caylee's death was the result. Not excusing KC at all-I just think KC and that household were TOXIC and Caylee didn't stand a chance there under those circumstances!:furious:

If Cindy found out something on that car ride back from the senior citizens home with Caylee...And confronted Casey: That would make for an upsetting night. I think Cindy had no choice but to confront Casey, there was money missing and lies thrown around and Cindy had a right to confront Casey.
How they both handled the confrontation resulted in Casey running.....
NO reason to harm Caylee....ONLY if Caylee told on Casey - I can see the Chloroform and other bad behavior.
But there is no History of Caylee being abused in the past.
There is a long History of Casey's lies. Secrets, BS....
I am still curious about the BIG Hush on the brothel.....That is not something to just tuck away.

IF it happened at all- I think it was done as a means of calming Caylee down. I agree-I think KC was still seething with anger and only allowed CA to do this for Caylee's sake. But, KC was in no mood to put up with or try to calm Caylee down. So, what does she do? Did she reach into her little bag of tricks or just lose it right there laying next to Caylee? Just because there was no known history of abuse in the past doesn't mean it wasn't happening on some level and possibly growing as KC's lying and stealing were escalating to the next level. I think Caylee was caught in the middle of the struggle CA had been having with KC for years. And now as an adult CA had no other options but to threaten to put KC out, possibly threaten to report her theft and possibly threaten to take custody of Caylee. KC was 22, it's not like CA could ground her!

It is VERY obvious that Casey's world centers on Casey. The prison conversations show her self-centeredness is extreme.

Self-centeredness, no babysitter, a new squeeze, rage at Cindy, Caylee developing the skills to tattle, frustration, feeling trapped, not being able to spend another night in THAT house, jealousy...I see a longer list of motives here than in any other case I have followed. Casey also has to be the most greedy and entitled-acting defendant...ever.

Except for the pretty face, imagining Casey killing Caylee isn't a huge stretch.

I rewatched the fathers day vids last night- And now its crystal clear to me why caylee is no longer here.

This vid shows how talented caylee was. She sang really well and with alot of emotion for such a lil person.
You can hear the staff member from the home saying how she's gonna be the next britney spears.
Imagine KC uploading this vid for CA, and hearing the possibility that Caylee would be in the spotlight for the next however many years. It would make her flip out.

By this point the only attention KC was getting was negative. She hears people sayiing how great Caylee is, and realizes that she will never be the centre of attention again with caylee around.

She can hear the joy in Ca's voice as she is giggling at caylees little show, and probably figures, 'why is Mom always yelling at me, and spoils that brat!'
She probably saw that her daughter at not even three yrs old had more compassion than she ever did."papa...you tired, papa?'
KC knew how special Caylee was and she hated it so she found a way to get the focus back on herself.....forever.

The subject of motive was brought up the other night when the A's appeared on LK. Brad C. said the state will have problems because of the lack of motive, Cindy said there was no motive. IMO, Cindy has made sure that no motive exists by denying any problems within the home with Casey. She has reminded us at every opportunity what a wonderful mother Casey was, of course we know different through the history we have been able to obtain from other sources. I think Cindy knows that she holds the "motive" key in her hands and has made sure not to release a bit of it for the states benefit. I hope the state has more evidence on motive that we have not seen.

("There, fix THAT") In different interviews, in her own actions, most of this can be inferred. I dont think the SA will have any problem providing motive.

Thank you so much, I feel better now, I think ! I got to worrying after thinking about what was said about lack of motive on LK. I mean I know we know a lot about Casey's and Cindy's disagreements, but I worry about what will make it into trial...

Cindy is one lone voice. There's others that have spoken about the conflict between Casey and Cindy. Cindy's own mother stated that she thought that Casey hated her mother more than she loved Caylee. That's a very strong statement. JG witnessed the conflict first hand, when Cindy verbally belittled Casey in front of him. The neighbors have spoken about hearing fighting between Cindy and Casey, with Casey using foul language. I'm sure there's others who can speak to the ongoing conflict between Casey and Cindy.

If the murder happened in the afternoon....this is why I just can't see how it went unseen? What time would she have dumped the body? How could that have gone unseen, as well. And, if the murder was not planned, how could she have gotten away with the killing and the dumping unseen?

In the book Murder in America by Stephen T. Holmes, he references a study that found 7 out of 10 parents who kill their children were mother's whose actions were triggered by psychosocial stressors. Among the stressors mentioned is the loss of financial support for their own or their children's survival.

I have always suspected that Cindy and Casey had a huge blow-out that ended with Cindy finally cutting Casey off financially. I believe that Cindy would have agreed to continue to support Caylee, but only if Casey gave custody of Caylee to Cindy. If Great-Grandma's theory is correct (Casey hates Cindy more than she loves Caylee) There was no way Casey would GIVE Caylee to Cindy. If this is what happened, the sudden realization that she had no home, no money, no way to pay her cell-phone bill may well have been the stressor that pushed Casey to kill Caylee. Perhaps she saw Caylee as an impediment to getting a man (TL or another) to pick up where Mom and Dad left off and support her.

There also may be no hx of abuse by KC, because CA was the primary caregiver.

ok, i am first time poster, but I have been a lurker since July 2008. and following it all.
Not that hard to figure out. Casey wanted an out. She had a bad relationship with mom and didnt want to cede the baby over. There was no way her mom would look better than she did.

My opinion is she smothered that baby on the nite of th 15th, tried to hide the body in the back yard, didnt work, cause hard to do that, put the baby in the trunk of car, carried it around for a few days, GA came to back ;of the car for gas cans. baby was there then, and she freaked and dropped baby off around the corner

So very well put! I agree with all of these things compiling one giant motive. One of the things we tend to forget, though, (and correct me if I am wrong here) is that the SA does NOT have to prove motive. Although, it would go a looooong way towards a conviction, esp with the DP on the table.

Wow that is very old and it went away but i am still curious about that.
Early on there was something on her page that referred to a brothel...
A Discussion Site named In Session talked about that a lot,
it was hardly a conversation here......
It may still be on the other site. But you would have to go way back to last summer.
Supposedly Casey was an escort and brought Caylee to work with her.
I do not know and I would not be surprised.

We must rember these are young people and very different from our generation so have to keep an open mind to what these young people may be doing now a days.
