When I decided to leave this forum and not return until Dec 6th, the anniversary of Jessica's murder, I had forgotten about one piece of unfinished business (string #10, post 383):

In checking back tonight, I see Foxfire never responded. Not only that, but I can no longer find any posts by Foxfire though there are several by others containing quotes by same, so must assume they were all removed. For me, that only increases my suspicions that the "first" fire in Courtland on 12/6/14 had more significance than just a coincidence.

Sorry for overlooking and not responding to your comment, rbarber17. I do not have access to the NFIRS database. I was hoping that Therese Apel, or some other reporter would look into the first Courtland fire on 12/06/2014.

I'm still hoping but even more of the belief now that LE has nothing.

Thanks for responding, Foxfire. One more unknown, for We the People anyway.

Going out of the box....

If the first fire is related...How so...? Jessica was not in the car when found...Is it just being assumed she was in that car when it was burned and her injuries came from that fire instead of another..? According to reports she was laying by the road...Is it possible, time line wise, that she was burned elsewhere..?

There is approximately one hour and 38 minutes from the time Jessica went off grid to the call about the car fire...The first fire took place during that time...

Was Jessica actually seen at the scene of the crime at 7:31 or did that information come from a phone ping, or witness seeing the car...? The time of 7:31 seems too exact to be a witness sighting...If a phone ping..how is it possible to say she was actually on scene at that time...wouldn't we only know that her phone was on scene?

Classito, the 1st fire was allegedly north of town not far from Jessica's home, while the 2nd fire was due west of Courtland. For Jessica to sustain her burns at the first locale and then be taken to the second would mean the transporter(s) driving past such local landmarks as M&M and CVFD. Do you really think a perpetrator would take such risks? I'm still thinking diversion, get all fire and rescue resources as far away from being able to save her as possible.

JMO I think that the first "fire" has to be related to the rest of the crime, if only because there is no public documentation of the nature of the first "fire" or it's whereabouts. Lots of sm gossip, which may or may not be true. But there should be a public record of the fire call, whether it was a false call, or a simple manageable fire issue, or a big deal!!!! Details are being deliberately kept from the public. JMO

I'm still hoping as well, but now even more of the belief that this is a distinct and clear cover-up on the behalf of local LE. I cannot shake the statement made by the DA almost immediately after JC's death, saying that he did not anticipate an arrest to be made in her case. I also cannot forget about all of the blatant wrongdoings, missteps, things overlooked, unexamined, and mishandled in the initial hours of the investigation, directly after JC was found. This case is more and more like a bad crime novel as the days go by, with contradictory media statements, lack of coverage, and the host of drama and general shadiness from all of those who were close to JC, related to JC, or associates of JC. I am now more interested in why local LE botched this investigation from the get-go. I am no longer giving them the benefit of the doubt, and hoping that it was due to lack of training, experience, etc. I want to know what they are hiding, who they are covering for, and why. The answer to these questions will lead us to the truth behind JC's last hours, and her murder. All MOO.

I checked the maps many times before bringing this up...Assuming they took the main route..yes...But chances are they would have taken Shiloh Rd to Hawkins Rd to Wells Exd to Wells Rd to Main St...Herron Rd....So they would not have to pass local M&M or CVFD....Mostly woods the whole way...There could also be another back way in that is not even on the map...Locals would know...Maybe someone will chime in and let us know if there is a 'shortcut'

I don't know about LE cover-up, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are one or more police officers that are involved in corruption relating to gang activity. That may add to the complexity of the case if an officer is undermining the dept/LE/FBI investigation. I also wouldn't be surprised if "gangs" are either subtly or otherwise threatening LE or have been for some time. Gang activity instills fear in their communities, and if any LE are receiving bribes/money for "looking the other way" it only rots the community more. This is why LE shouldn't ever lose sight of how important it is to protect their communities from the criminal enterprise or kowtow. Also, I think there was a government employee/head, MS State Prison that was recently arrested for corruption in MS, so there could very well be others involved in corruption scheme. I hope any government workers involved in corruption are arrested right along with all the individuals involved in criminal enterprises/criminal activity and of course Jessica's murderers.

For the most part, I hope FBI/ATF/LE are keeping quiet because there is lots of work to do there and if it's better for investigation(s) and does a swath of good for the community then I have no problem with that. Jmo/

You and I are thinking along the same lines. I thought that maybe JC was badly injured or even caught on fire during the "first fire". I thought that maybe the people she was with panicked and drove her to where she ended up. Maybe that's why the seats were reclined, idk. What if the "second fire" was a cover-up for the "first fire"? What if her car was set on fire only because Jessica had already been burned? I could see someone thinking that if they set the car on fire people would ASSUME that her injuries came from the car fire. And bad thing about it is WE DID.

Some people may know what happened but know that it did not happen the way that the crime was being reported, kwim?

IMO, the details of the first fire is "KEY". I think that will fill in some of those missing pieces for us.

BBM....At this point, I am wondering how involved the FBI and other federal agencies still are, and if they still even have boots on the ground in Panola County. We have only ever been told that they were called in to assist in the investigation, which seems to imply that they were primarily in a support role for technological and investigative expertise as needed. Never once have any agents of any LE divisions other than Panola County officials ever spoken, or even appeared at a press conference, to my knowledge. I am wondering if they are even still there. JMO.

It may be that no external agency wants the stink of this one on them because, perhaps, initial mistakes and decisions have made this one unsolvable now.

I don't think that external agencies would shy away from assisting LLE because of mistakes, but Idk Fed agency decision-making process in investigations. There is another recent murder case where DeAndre Joshua was shot and burned in his car, and he even visited someone night killed with another man (person even had description) (http://news.yahoo.com/tale-2-fergus...-174016275.html;_ylt=AwrBJSA_BBZVWFIA_ebQtDMD), but I don't think there are any suspects in DeAndre's case yet either. It may have to do more with people who may know something about crimes, but not talking to LE. That is so heartbreaking, if people know something, say something. Jmo.

I've been following Jessica's tragic story from the sidelines since it was aired in NOLA. After reading several recent articles about meth labs and fires in cars (like the one here http://www.nola.com/news/baton-rouge/index.ssf/2015/03/sisters_meth_lab_vehicle_fire.html), I can't help but wonder if there is some connection to what happened to Jessica.

I came across an interesting story (linked below) from 2012 about the "shake and bake" method of making cheap but highly combustible meth. There is an eerie picture of a charred car in Clarksville and several quotes about how many serious injuries to the face, throat and lungs occur as a result of these meth-related accidents.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-bake-method-making-deadly-crystal-meth.html

If there is chance that MS LE might be involved in/with drug or gang activity, or Jessica might have been acting as a drug informant, then maybe her death resulted from a similar kind of meth accident as mentioned in recent articles? Whatever the case, I hope Jessica's family gets answers and closure soon.

I can follow 1st fire then 2nd and final fire. Only in my theory Jessica was tied to the tree. I believe that's the reason why the tree burned almost 10' and scorched higher. She was taunted by those w/holding her. When/if the ties that bound Jessica burned away she was freed from the burning bush, possibly collapses or, if she walked down road afire, she had to climb down from the knoll the car was on in order to walk which I deem doubtful. Her mouth was on fire. Clothes. Hair. Eyebrows. All burning. W/ An accelerant. Poss gas.

From 7:31pm w/ Jessica Tied to tree? Humiliated. Taunted. Screamed harsh words like darts. It went too far. Maybe set afire. Snitches take Stitches. Anyone willing to burn Jessica would be willing to go too far.

Very interesting concept, DeDee.

You all have been dedicated. I admire that.

I've spent the past six weeks absorbed by the Aaron Hernandez trial, and learned a lot.

One thing of importance (which I believe will be beneficial to your, personal, crime database) is the cellphone testimonies of the record keepers for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile...and etcetera, and how they work together for the prosecution's tediously boring presentation of circumstantial evidence against Hernandez.

Now that that prosecution is in its final weeks of testimony there is a FBI cellphone forensic analyst named Eric Perry who is about to return to the stand. His first day was March 26, Thursday, but his testimony was interrupted on Friday by the testimony of Hernandez's fiancée Shayanna Jenkins. When he returns (perhaps late-Monday, or Tues, Wed) he will outline and summarize all previous cellphone testimony, and how pings, calls, voice, and text transmissions follow the joint-venture perpetraitors into the crime scene.

You'll be able to watch it here. (The entire case is archived daily by U-tuber LadyJustice2188 over there.)

Meanwhile background on Eric Perry is worth noting here.

Some of this may be helpful in solving Jessica's Case.

Ciao

Whatever the case, I hope Jessica's family gets answers and closure soon.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence that the crime scene resembles those in recent articles about meth fires in cars and that there was a fire reported at an earlier time that hasn't been fully investigated? All the references to an underlying drug and gang connection to Jessica's murder come to mind when I read about meth arrests and related deaths in rural areas like Panola, MS.

I'm also wondering about the model of her Kia? If it's plausible that she was intently hit from behind and run off the road, could the collision have sparked the fire? There are several reports on the faulty gas tanks on certain Kia models. If she had just filled up her tank at the M&M store, then there would have been plenty fuel to go up in flames?

It's obvious that someone wanted to silence Jessica and others in her circle given the horrific circumstances that led to her death. Drug dealers and suppliers are ruthless and unfortunately are willing to take the innocent lives of women and children without regret.

Resoundingly, I hear:

"I cannot shake the statement made by the DA almost immediately after JC's death, saying that he did not anticipate an arrest to be made in her case. " MSCJ

Why would the DA/Prosecutor declare an arrest is not forthcoming? DA made the statement within hours of Jessica's murder?

~ "Do not anticipate an arrest." DA Champion

Why does he announce there are going to be no imminent arrests therefore we should not anticipate anyone's arrest?

I believe the public should demand an acceptable excuse or reason from this Prosecutor/DA Team Champion concerning this information being stated before JC was buried.

We will soon be entering the fourth month of her murder without an arrest. "Do not anticipate an arrest." DA Champion
