Bessie...could we have a "parking lot" thread so we could exchange our own sleuthing and feel free to toss ideas out there? Or, is that still subject to legal issues?. TY JMO

Thank you for taking the time to gather the info, NineMilly. Much appreciated!

All I can say at this point is I sure hope LE has a better handle on this case than I do. I used to be pretty good at the board game 'Clue', but honestly, I think there are about a dozen Col. Mustards in this case, and they all could have done it.
^^^ Best thing I've read all day.^^^ thank you for the laugh!

oh, actually I got one of the arrests wrong! Boone was arrested! I didn't know that! When and why? anyone have the link info about GM and Sha Sha getting arrested?

found the link, but doesn't say what they were arrested for. anyone???

I cannot find anywhere that states the reason for their arrests, all that is confirmed is that they were arrested, promptly bonded out, and smiled in their mugshots. I am digging and digging trying to find a website that disclosed arrest information there...:findinglink:

Search the Panolian. There was an article there today or yesterday that indicates that DA Champion was informed of the arrest. Unfortunately, the Panolian is subscriber only. There are other links that can be viewed - look on page 1 of this thread.
I knew that. I was asking for a link to a part of the post that got deleted after I asked. Thanks though!

I was trying to break down this case to somebody yesterday, and they said that it all sounds like the movie 'Clue'. Great minds think alike!

I always smile when I get arrested too. You don't? Just another dayyyyy for those two :)

They just thought it was some idiot trying to take a selfie with the camera turned around backwards.

Catching up still from Thread #6 but all good with Thread #7. Holy moly, y'all. I think it's just a smaller world than we ever imagine - the social links among people in Panola County + beyond. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out...

I feel okay about this case ultimately getting a resolution, but I am disconcerted by the posters who are writing in discouragement. I don't disagree that it is frustrating and that there were some instances toward the beginning that made me question the competency of some investigators... Amen. But it's the whole idea of:

We know there are facts that we know.
We know there are facts that we don't know.
But we don't know the facts that we don't know - and I think this is where the dots will get connected.

The investigators are human and can make mistakes, as unfortunate as that is. But we know they know more than what they have divulged to the public. We don't know what else is out there and has been uncovered as a result of this investigation, though - and this may be how the case gets solved (indirectly).

If the investigators are capable of having made some mistakes, I don't buy for a second that the perp(s) are incapable of making their own. The fact that he/she/they haven't been caught as of yet may have more to do with luck than cleverness at this point.

But come on. It's easy to see that Panola County's backlog of arrests (via The Panolian) showcase lots of folks making criminal mistakes all the darn time there. I'm willing to bet that the perp(s) in this case have already been arrested for something in the past, and that it's a matter of time before he/she/they are arrested for something else in the future. If investigators have been unable to get the perp(s) directly after JC's death, they may well be able to get him/her/them indirectly as a consequence of other, ongoing or future criminal behavior.

Am I the only person who finds it interesting that Jessica's acquaintances are generally older than she by a significant number of years? Moreover that some of those immediate acquaintances were the first people LE sought out for interviews in the early days of the investigation?

It bothers me a great deal that a 19-year-old, high school graduate associates with people ten years older than she.
---------------------------------

You are not alone! It bothers me a great deal that a 19-year-old, high school graduate associates with grown men socially without them being friends of family/parents.

Me, too. MrMr is quite a bit older at 44. When I was 19, I would have thought 25 was o.l.d. and I couldn't imagine having a "good friend" especially a man who's been around the block so to speak, I was too intimidated back then. But that's just me, scaredy cat of older men. :puke: no offense meant, that's just me.

If we are going to do this, then it would be advantageous to do it chronologically, with dates, times, etc.

For example,
 • Jessica Chambers victim found with burned vehicle on Herron Rd. (link, time, date....)
 • Worked in Batesville (first MSM link referencing this fact, time, date....)
 • Her funeral was in Batesville (link, time, date....)
 • Jessica's mom. Lisa talked to Jessica, reportedly for 20 minutes. (first MSM link referencing this fact, time, date....)
 • ....and so on and so forth

This is not to suggest that your work is questionable; it is merely to suggest that a chronological timeline based upon the known facts is superior to a collection of data.

To the best of my knowledge it was put in chronological order. If you see an error please feel free to copy and edit my data. I've mentioned it before that it took me hours to compile that list and by no means was it meant to be all encompassing. I'm practically begging you to edit and add to this list of known facts so as to have an on going thread with ACCURATE information. May I suggest starting by adding the newest arrests to my posted information as I simply don't have time now that I'm back to work.......

I'm also curious as to why local news felt the need to explain that EB was a "married father".

gotta look good for the newest addition to their portfolios.

Didn't Stephen Colbert have some hilariously, obviously-wrong philosophy about why one should smile for mugshot photos? I've been searching + racking my brain but can't remember it exactly...maybe it was another comedian...anyone? (sorry, a bit off-topic)

2. Lisa Chambers. Jessica's mom. Lisa talked to Jessica, reportedly, for 20 minutes.

3.....

NineMilly: cue David Cassidy singing "I think I love youuuuu!"

What stands out the most to me in regards to the most recent arrests, is that they were released on a bond. It was not a "hold" like we have seen before. This means that they will be arraigned on charges sometime very soon. The arraignment will be open to the public and I sure hope some reporters cover it, no matter the charge(s).

And do you know what(who) stands out to me? SHA SHA. Since the very beginning, I have been coming back to her over and over again.
