Maybe Jamie thought of Erica around Thanksgiving and when he questioned her whereabouts, was reminded that she is with her biological grandmother. I don't necessarily think Jamie is lying, but may have remembered it incorrect after all these years. Can any other family/friend vouch that they saw Erica on such and such a date? Maybe the reason the moved was because of something happened to Erica in May or June 2011. Never really thought about that possibility until reading this last page.
Carolyn said that she met/saw Erica in February of 2011. We know that Erica was still living with CP and SP at that point in time, and that was before the Parsonses moved into the house on Millers Chapel Road.
It is possible that Erica was excited after meeting her biological mother and kept talking about it to CP. It was obvious to me from the (obviously fabricated) private messages between "Erica" and Carolyn that CP seemed to be quite irritated after the meeting.
ACR noted that it appears as though they did not take occupancy of the house until August of 2011, but they might have been doing renovations before then. Was the little apartment/outbuilding that Jamie lived in at the house already there when the property was purchased, or did CP and SP install it themselves?
I have not seen or heard of any confirmation that Erica was ever seen after that meeting with Carolyn, although if they were living in the basement apartment of the senior Parsons' home before they moved into the Millers Chapel Road house, then in all likelihood Erica was seen by SP's parents. When WAS the last time the senior Parsonses saw Erica?
One thing that really stood out to me is that the neighbors have stated that they had never even seen Erica at the Millers Chapel Road house. They had seen all of the other children there, but not Erica--not even in the yard with the dogs they were raising.
CP seems, in my opinion, to be the type to relegate dirty chores to someone she didn't like, such as scrubbing floors, cleaning house, and especially cleaning up after the pups. I just get that "vindictive" vibe from her, especially since we have heard all of the tales of CP being verbally and physically abusive towards Erica. In that line of thinking, why was Erica never seen by any of the neighbors?
Isn't it possible that Erica went missing long before November or December of 2011?
Oh gosh, I just had another thought as I was spell checking this post.
I wonder what kind of floor is in that red shed at the senior Parsons' home. Is it sitting on a dirt floor? Did they lay a slab of concrete before putting the shed there? When was that shed put there to begin with?
This case is just so sad. Little Erica never stood a chance with these people.
That surely must fuel Casey's impulsive reactions. After all, if Erica showed any interest in CarP, whiched angered Casey.....could you imagine what any shows of public empathy towards CarP does to Casey???
