That is the first time in a trial that that has happened in my experience. The Defendants should not be
protected from this and should face up to it. The others can look away.
I thought it was always the case that only the jury are shown the pictures.

Does someone else want to take over live tweets ?
I would but by the time I would figure out how to work twitter and then copy the tweets (4 days now[emoji22]) the trial would be over.

Always the case in NC or everywhere? Any televised US case I've seen have always shared with court usually on a screen

Have you ever heard of the Oscar Pistorius trial in South Africa? He was known for having a green bucket ready.

Yes they are usually on a screen so everyone can see them eg Jodi Arias trial.

TM's statement during the 911 call when asked to give CPR..."he's covered in blood" shows a moment of revulsion and hesitation. I hope the jury thinks about how they would react if someone they loved could possibly be saved. Would you even care how mangled they were? You would be desperate to save them, help them hang onto life. Not Tom...it was more "Yuck...you expect me to touch him?"

Can't understand why not, in some cases it has been noted by the jurors what reaction the defendant has when photos are shown in court. Disappointing

I am wondering what this Judge is like as the Defense seems to be favoured.

I find it difficult to believe that the father did all this damage to JC.

That is also not usually done. It is usually explained to the jury in detail with the visuals and they are then given a written copy to refer to later. Do they have their own copies of the photos?

It's amazing what damage can be done with a boy's 17-ounce, aluminium baseball bat by a 67yo man!

Mr Martens claims he then struck Jason until he let go of his daughter. Freedman added that Mr Martens then called emergency services and performed CPR on the stricken Mr Corbett.

Seeing this quoted a lot.

With injuries to Jason's groin, genitals thighs left arm, broken nose, and those just front of body injuries how did he hit Jason and not her if she was in a headlock ? She would have shielded Jason from injury. If he was chocking her again we would see a lot more injuries to the back of legs imo to take him down. I'm not in the fbi but I do know if I was to kick or hit an assailant behind the knee they would go down.

And he claims he hit him until he let her go and then called 911 - one of the blows was suspected to be postmortem so are we now to believe Jason was even guilty of DV in death? He was dead but still had molly in a headlock.

Ridiculous imo

My fiction not fact

If Molly was the one who perpetrated all these injuries herself, and her father is covering up for her, they will both probably end up in prison rather than just one of them.

I don't quite get it how in their scenario that Molly could have been able to also hit JC with the brick if JC still had hold of her. It does not make sense.

Most trials would stage a re-enactment using actors to show that their story has too many holes in it.

They are now at lunch so I must go to bed now.

More testimony from the medical examiner to come after lunch...
