"I decide to rush him and try to get hold of the bat," he said. The two men struggled over the bat, and Martens got control of it. Then Martens said he hit Jason with the bat, again and again, until Jason was down.

Afterward, Martens called 911. He said that he and Molly performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

This is all good. The Prosecution is drawing him out. He's making mistakes. He's claiming to have sustained multiple blows from this huge man who is in a rage...but his 65 year old body shows not a bruise.

I bet the Prosecution will keep him talking and talking..

contradicts dispach story.. have feeling myfox8 is a part of conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway..they own wsj and I think they own dispach too.. shareholders list might be interesting. Have not had time to investigate it fully, did some work on it a year ago or more.. lost the work .. retained a thread of a memory of a significant connection with defence.. Massive company.
I started looking at it when the same tv stations and media outlets kept running with defence stories.. nothing to be done, if accurate, but no harm calling it either.

Didn't ME specifically mention insurance calls when he was asked about whether he had used his FBI status to gain entry to JC's office?

If phone records indicate that a call was made from my phone then phone records may indicate, but I can tell you that on that Monday my wife and I were making many calls. We were making funeral arrangements, we were making calls for insurance for the children, the memorial, that was that Thursday.

If she hit him with the paver before TM came in then JC could have been defending himself against MM. However that would ruin her self defence argument as MM was the aggressor and not JC

Forgive me if this is a silly question..if the insurance policy was changed before Jason's death with now naming Molly,could it have been changed without his knowledge,it seems very odd that he would leave it to her if he knew his marraige was coming to and end..

Could be TM defence team trying to pin blame on MM while justifying TM arguing what he saw was JC attacking MM. IMO

Jason Corbett may have sustained the first blow to his head while he was in or beside his bed in his North Carolina home, a court has heard
Dr Stuart James told a Davidson County murder trial he found blood spatters on the inside of the quilt on Mr Corbett's bed, in addition to blood saturation marks inside the mattress. He said they may well have been from the first blow struck..
