"This investigation continues," he said. "I will be awaiting the results of the medical examiner's report and making some decisions at that time.""

wonder how involved the fbi is at this time....they had said this was a homicide investigation

"In a press conference Saturday afternoon, FBI officials called the search for the child, who had been missing since Sunday, a "homicide investigation."

"I'm very saddened to report to you that we have recovered what we believe are the remains of little Mariah Wood," Miller said. "We were all hoping for a better outcome."

I just feel the need to repost this article and to point out that IMO, it was this family member who directed the Sheriff to the location of Mariah's body. Not the BF. Her body was found shortly after this press conference.

"In an update to the media Friday afternoon, Miller said that he had a "long conversation" with one of Mariah's family members, and added that "they are cooperating."

I hope your pup recovers quickly! It's always horrible when pets get sick. My dog was diagnosed with bone cancer 5 weeks ago...she's just now showing signs that point to a heck of difficult decision I have to make, probably in the next couple days. This website is my escape right now or I would sit and cry all day!

But I can't help but think of how upset I get when she shows the slightest sign of pain...it kills me. Which makes it so so hard to understand how someone could hurt an innocent child and then dump the body like it's trash.

Im so sorry that you’ve had that awful news. Our pets soon be come a family member, take a day or two to spend time with your dog, WS will still be here. As for making that huge decision, it’s not easy but you’ll know when the time is right x

I'm afraid that (some) of the results could be inconclusive because she was in the water.

That’s a whopping bond amount for the charges levied. I was expecting the attorney to request a lower amount. Although I doubt he could make any amount of bond considering his living conditions.

...which is why I wonder if Kristy is talking/sharing. Because if it’s grandma, I can’t imagine her knowing anything about what transpired, much less the location of where Kimrey put the child’s remains.

It is - and disturbing! (the Nancy Grace podcast that is...)

JMO, but I don’t think that’s a whopping bond for his charges. Maybe his attorney thinks EK is better off where he’s at for safety reasons?

Unless the 2 boys opened up to grandma. Kids usually know more than what they are given credit for.
