You are a kinder-hearted person than I. I get ANGRY at all these Moms who allow their "boyfriends" access to their kids when so often these"boyfriends"/supposed fathers/whatever they are... end up hurting, in some cases killing, the poor kids! What are these Moms thinking???

I try- I’m so angry over the whole thing!! As a Mom I’m trying to be empathetic to her because if she truly had no idea than I can’t imagine how heartbroken she must be.

Also- the article on the parents arrest stated there was at least one victim who was 6 years old. I’m thinking that maybe the same 6 year old that was with Raul. Perhaps she’s going through therapy after the traumatic experience she had with that monster.

Detective Sgt. Jessica Sadovnikov of the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office said that investigators were pulled away from the case Wednesday to investigate claims that Raul Johnson had been found with a grandmother.

“There was an individual last night that for whatever reason, posted a picture on Snapchat that he had been located and was safe,” Sadovnikov said. “That got circulated on Facebook. It’s false. We need the public to understand that this juvenile is still missing, and we are still searching.”

It was his biological father and he seems to still be locked up by ICE. Mom's charges were dropped:

Raul’s biological father, Carols Gonzales, is currently under a U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer hold after he was arrested in September 2017 on seven counts of child molestation.

The mother was also charged at the time with abuse, but those charges were later dropped.

I found this mornings press conference on Facebook. The Sheriff seems close to tears at times. I know LE is doing everything they can to find this little guy. He talks about the fact that it was known that Raul would wander sometimes and that family/neighbors need to watch their children. "Folks, you know what it's like......if you have kids. It's our job to protect. You have to take care of them. We have to watch our own kids. If a child wanders off once, twice..........from talking to the neighbors, if it's happening a lot, then bad things are going to happen to the children. From what I understand from talking to our detectives, these children wandered a lot and now we're doing our best to find him."
