And does anyone remember what the young man's description was that was caught on the RV lot who seemingly disappeared before questioning?

I vaguely remember something about jeans & a baseball cap, right?

Right. And wearing a grey tee shirt. In his 20s. Thin build.

I wonder what type of logo was on that baseball cap?

The "baseball players" comment has always stuck in my mind as almost a clue for LE by his friend.

Since the person giving the description gave a fairly detailed account, I would think they would have remembered the logo. Guess not though or it would have been reported, I would think.

We only have two tweets from a single individual saying that TB was to drive home with him the next day. I don't know if this individual is considered part of the random "baseball players" comment uploaded to twitter by CM.

Has it ever been reported who that person was? I only remember reading that LE spoke to the person and he said he looked for TB on the day he was suppose to give him a ride home but couldn't find him and it sounds like he went home without him.

Right Rocco.....these are some key pieces of info I wished we had!

Considering the region, it very well could have been a John Deere cap.

POST OF THE WEEK, TASTE OF HONEY!!

From the link that Mama Sleuth posted on the 18th:

MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Detectives working the Tom Bearson murder case are making some progress, but Fargo Police Chief Keith Ternes says releasing too much information to the public could compromise the investigation.

I think your speculation is right on the money.

:boohoo:

Yes, have seen both now...black and white (baseball hats for UND with green writing/logo). I surmise that the "stranger" at the RV Sales lot could be:
A. Someone just curious/concerned/caring (like some of us)
B. Someone with deep sorrow who was close to Tom needing to look for himself (I've been in those shoes before)
C. Someone whose conscience or concern of getting involved/caught is driving them
I have no gut feeling on this one, I think its a toss-up. I think any of those three could say "I'm just looking around". Leaving before the LE arrived could be coincidental, as they probably were not informed that LE was notified.

University of North Dakota has a black baseball cap with green logo UND.
