Thank you for your dedication to Haleigh!
I wish I wasn't so far away ( 2100 miles). We are considering a move to FL mabey this winter if there are searches still going on I will sure try to be there.

From the noon update:

Along with Haleigh’s father, Ronald, and grandmother, Teresa, Tim Miller were present at the conference at NeJame’s request.

Miller said EquuSearch spent the better part of the weekend scouring an area of Putnam County, and developing plans. (I wonder what area they are focusing on and what lead them there?)

“We want to do everything that we can do to make sure they don’t go through the next birthday without having Haleigh home safely, or without having her remains and having that funeral, so they can have a place to go visit her,” Miller said. ( )

“My firm’s role will be limited, although we will be here for anything that needs to be done,” NeJame said. “We are not coming here at the request or as an agent of law enforcement. We are simply helping an grieving family.” ( I believe that Nejame will do all he can and if the family gets out of control he will resign as he did with the Anthony's. His only focus is Haleigh!)

At this point, the evidence and investigatory effort has minimized the likelihood that Haleigh’s disappearance is the work of a stranger. There is no specific individual whom investigators have identified as a person of interest. The biological parents, Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield, are not considered to be suspects in the case. Investigators believe that Misty Croslin-Cummings continues to hold important answers in the case. She has failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting of the hours during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh’s disappearance. Furthermore, physical evidence at the scene contradicts Misty’s sketchy account of her evening activities. Any citizen with direct knowledge of Misty’s activities during that evening or into the early morning is encouraged to report that information to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

How sad a day it has turned out to be...I am happy that TES and Nejame are on board. But Haleigh is still missing and all the articles I have read today lead me to believe that LE has found evidence that Haleigh is not alive, they just don't have a body. That is just how I understood it...reading through the fine lines. I pray I am wrong.

Texas EqquSearch founder Tim Miller announced they are teaming up to search for Haleigh. Miller said the search will take place in four to six weeks -- when he believes weather conditions and vegetation will be more conducive to finding the girl. The search has spanned thousands of acres of land to date, including all of the area near the Cummings' home. Aerial and underwater searches have also been conducted.

DNA samples were collected from many of those interviewed and compared to evidence collected in the case.
FDLE processed the crime scene. Many items of potential evidentiary value were collected and sent to FDLE’s crime lab for analysis (ie. for fingerprints and DNA). All of evidence has been examined and/or processed, but none of it has identified any suspect or additional leads as to who the suspect(s) may be.
We have searched thousands of acres, including all property south of Highway 17 near the Cummings residence.

TM would assist in searching for as many missing people as time, manpower, and resources permitted regardless of who did the asking. This might be "innocence by association" in some people's books...

Miller said it may be another six weeks to two months before his volunteers will scour the area once more for Haleigh.

I hope and pray that TM is successful in this search. I will admit I'm worried about the Hurricane season getting really cranked up and this will last until November. Flashbacks of flooded search areas during the search for Caylee Anthony come to mind. I really hope someone comes forward with information before the search time to narrow down the search.

I suspect they knew all along that they have been living with a huge elephant, but they hoped they might hear something said inadvertently that would provide a clue as to what happened to Haleigh. After 6 months, they probably were pretty discouraged that there was not a slip up, so TN reached out to someone that she thought could help. IMO, very good move to engage Mr Nejame & Tim M.

Good question...dunno. It would be the classic struggle of a GMA who suspects her child did something to harm her grandchild. The lion or the tiger - a position I wouldn't wish on anybody. If TN suspects that Misty may know something (directly or indirectly), then I think she would try and maintain good graces with her to see if she could find out something. But after 6 months, I think everyone (LE, TN, GGMA, and probably Ron) must know that it's time for a new strategy (everyone but Misty, that is). The old strategy just wasn't cutting it.
I agree with your comment about MN - certainly a very seasoned person withg this type of stuff!

This just isn't adding up for me. Misty didn't know the family that long, she was out doing drugs, and running around on him that weekend. What MIL protects a girl like that? What man marries that? No, there is more here. TN is protecting her for another reason, I just haven't figured it out yet.
