Is there anyway they could do a DNA ancestry search on Evans and his daughter, much like the one they did on Lisa? I have a feeling her mother wasn't reported missing like Denise wasn't.

What test was done to determine Evan's paternity to her and could a more extensive one be done?

They can do one on his daughter I believe, if you assume they haven't cremated her. But they can't do one on him. I'm guessing they just did a paternity test on him with Lisa and that's a really basic comparative DNA test, not nearly as in depth a test as they'd do for ancestral DNA.

I just searched the Intelius search engine, put in Lawrence Vanner, included all states, and two cities came up. Richmond, CA, and San Pablo, California. Richmond is where he killed Eunsoon Jun, the San Pablo looks like a legitimate place he also lived, so I think San Pablo should be listed as a probable place he lived.

San Pablo and Richmond are both in the East Bay. They are only about 5 miles apart. The way towns are in the Bay Area, it's sometimes difficult to determine which one you are in at a given time. Often, different sources will say you are in one town when your official address is in another.

I don't think they cremated her - they show her skull in a recent video.

Guys, Rasmussen was discussed here on pages 45, 46, 47. He was described as having brown eyes and olive skin.

wow good work! I was pretty convinced that Robert could have ran away and became our BE, but after seeing his picture,, I am not so sure anymore

In my research today, have added Native Reservations to the map.. I did throw in a couple of reservations in Quebec just over the boarder. However in all honesty it is the same tribe Abenaki that originally existed in NH/VT

The Presser said they ruled out Canada. However a question was posed if they could have traveled there. The response was yes they could have went on a trip there however as far as being from there or living a long period of time there the answer was no.

Recall this all from memory .....

There is a yellow spot area long the NH/VT state line there are no reservations however there are native tribes that exist Abenaki.

Let me wake up. From memory I think Sioux tribe. Tulessa had been helping us. I have 2 in the Dakota's that really stick out to me. Was watching Dr Jeff Rocky Mountain Vet, he traveled to one to give free vet care. The people resembled our little girl. After it was written, I was going to share the note I wrote with their FB pages and groups but my immune system tanked plus I had a power outage, lost my mac with all the info. I just got it running again. It's ok since we now have a major piece of her puzzle, maybe we'll get farther.

Depends on what type of DNA data they have but they may be able to if someone can take the needed piece from the raw NamUs file. Colleen was going to do it for a doe named Lyle Stevik, his LE were told UNT will only release the DNA to certain labs; see the post here and copied below. They may be better off having a private company extract new DNA from her remains. They are not cremated like Bob; I'm not sure if the Allenstown 4 have been reburried after they did the new recons and isotope info.

The problem with so called ancestry databases, Ancestry.com doesn't accept uploads, needs a saliva sample. 23 and me also doesn't accept uploads, I believe they do a swab. I'm not sure about Family Tree DNA, they take older ancestry raw data and 23 and me. There are other databases, My Heritage accepts uploads but it's a new database. GEDmatch does uploads but they would need a DNA expert like Colleen to help

I spoke to Mr. Youmans via email today and he kindly explained the DNA situation to me:

I spoke at length with Colleen Fitzpatrick, the woman who solved the Lori Ruff case. The problem is, the DNA profile we have for Lyle is different than one you would get from a company like Ancestry. We need a Y-DNA profile, and from what I have learned, the profile is different. I had hoped to submit our profile to one of the Ancestry companies, but from what I understand, they won’t cooperate, as they don’t want to be associated with Law Enforcement. I understand their reasoning, as they don’t want people to submit a saliva sample to find their ancestors, and wind up getting arrested for some old crime, where their DNA was in CODIS. I’ve tried to get Lyle’s DNA profile from the University of North Texas DNA database, but they won’t release it to me. They said they would give it to another government lab, as the DNA sequence is so long, that a lab would know which section to compare.

If I had known about companies like Ancestry and 23 and me back in 2001, I probably could have obtained a saliva sample from Lyle and submitted it to the private company, but all we took was a blood sample that I submitted to the University of North Texas, and the profile was run through CODIS.

While the cases are very much related, if you're talking about mixing them on your map, you may want to make a 2nd one specific to the isotope's of the Allenstown Does, add the reservations to that one with a note on the 1st one. It will clean up your current map since we really do not know if any of them apply to our little Doe.

When I was looking for potential matches for Evans wife "Elizabeth" and his daughter's mother I found something interesting.


Nellie Flickinger was last seen in 1979 when her unidentified "marine" boyfriend came and got her. She disappeared before and was found in Yuma, Arizona. I wonder how long she was gone for the first time. She wasn't reported missing until 2007.

the time-frame is inconsistent with Evans because he was living in Manchester, NH from 1977-1981, but the mill had gone through periods of shut-downs if I remember correctly so who knows. I wonder how often Evans traveled while living in Manchester.

I believe Evans picked his victims carefully, it wasn't until Jun that he messed up. Her family and friends becoming concerned is ultimately what got him discovered. I personally believe when he met Jun he assumed that since she was an immigrant maybe that her family was overseas?

Anyways, unfortunately I believe most of his victims weren't reported missing or weren't reported missing for a number of years.

With Denise, Disappeared in 1981, not reported until 2016. Evans manipulated her family which is why she wasn't reported.

These are examples of women I believe he targeted:
1. Young or naive or trusting.
2. struggling single mothers.
3. homeless or transit or travelers

I think it's safe to say the woman in the barrel is not Nellie Flickinger, as this would of course be noticed. It also sounds like none of her children were missing. If she was the mother of the middle child the timeline would have be very constrained and she would have made no contact with the rest of her family and 5 other children for at least 3 years, this does not sound likely.

Is there any other details on Denise Beaudin? Other than an overbite, did she have any injuries, tattoos, did she wear glasses or contacts? Frustrating with so little detailed information. I did read in another article that the electrical cord used to bind the victims in the barrels had come from Denise's place of work, so he had met her by the time he killed those 4 people. Makes me wonder if he was working as an electrician where she worked and that's how they met. I'm guessing if he changed Dawn's name to Lisa, Denise had probably changed her name when they left as well, if she was alive during that time. When he was arrested in CA he mentioned a girlfriend who was a nurse, that also might have referred back to Denise.
An article noted that he had ingratiated himself into the Korean community when he met Jun, sounds like he was good at putting people at ease And when questioned by the arresting officer in CA he referred to himself as a "non person" when he was asked who he was.

Considering that photos of 3 of the Rasmussen siblings show blue eyes ( I haven´t found photos for the others), I believe Robert was also likely to have blue eyes.
