i wonder if he had any friends while he lived in san Pablo? and if he had ever needed a new fridge?

because NH wasn't looking for him. he was a parolee at large from CA.

Thank you, I guess I missed that in the article that he had lived at the store from 1990. I wonder why LE in NH was not aware of this. They must be now.

Is there a similar license look up for California?

The investigators do have a machine that has ground penetrating radar. This machine detects any object in the ground (bones, rocks, roots, etc.) I assume the investigators have their own machines, but one of the nations leading experts on finding bones lives in Litchfield New Hampshire. (google The Bone Finder). When the authorities do start looking for more bodies in the spring, they will probably keep it quiet so as to not have to deal with onlookers.

Ok, catching up, read Thread #1..several pages into this thread and I want to point out something about the Oak Hill blogger. Did any of you notice they mention a Stefanie as a 10 year old that lived with that family in the apartment. Also, when the blogger is giving details, its almost, in MOO, that this may have been a child that he molested that was recalling the events that they could remember. Small memories, like having a badge, calling him trucker, maybe he a CB radio in the truck and that is how this child relates to him "as trucker". Just wanted to get this out before I forget. Also, those missing 12 years, could he had been in jail somewhere else for what ever reason and the police agency never crisscrossed??

BBM for focus,
I had a similar thought, too, except instead of targeting the babies, he was targeting breast feeding women because perhaps he had a strange fetish for breast milk or nursing mothers. And, when they weaned, he moved on, only that doesn't explain his marriage to Jun and the fact that he was reluctant to start a family with her, and we don't know if Denise was nursing.

Maybe he liked her for $$...it was noted earlier that she was a chemist

The Oakhill blog post referring to Stefanie and the trucker has been nagging me as well. I do not suspect that this person was molested, rather trying to make friends perhaps with the oldest child Allentown victim. If he drove any truck, they may refer to him as a trucker. He may have been driving a truck from the mill. But using the name Stefanie, and inferring that he had a badge are interesting points. They sound more like childhood memories to me than anything else. I suspect this poster was perhaps a neighbor who wanted to befriend the children but was too young to realize there might be something amiss. And even now, the poster's memories may be vague. I hope that Oakhill has put this poster and LE together.

Good thought about him being locked up for those missing years.

I wonder if the neighbor MS. Decker ever took pictures of Dawn/Lisa when she knew her? Could be info in the background, or maybe an article of clothing that maybe able to determine where they had been.

Good find.

I notice the casino right down the road. I wonder if he was into gambling and, if so, if that could provide a new lead in any way.

Or, in a similar vein, if he was as much a drinker as is being made out, then there are likely some anchor spots to check out, especially if his presence was more or less pinned down for an entire decade in the 1990s. What package stores and liquor stores are nearby? Are the ones from the 90s still in operation and under the same ownership? If so, go flash his picture to said proprietors. "This guy ever come in and buy booze?" Local dive bars, same thing.

That loci of local drink is probably among the few public venues he would have reliably frequented.

Stonewalla..... Have been thinking the same, getting his picture and information out to bars in areas Evans has known to stay.

There are a few MP's out there that went missing in the 70's & 80's that were last seen talking with an unknown man at a bar. Of course it could be anyone...

It's a potential thou .. You just never know .... We may all be surprised

It occurs to me there may have been a bigger reason why he didn't want the police to look in the east coast area. He worked hard at not being found, changed his name, told different stories to everyone. But what if he really is Robert Evans and the reason he didn't want any connection to the east was because that was the one time he used his real name and it would lead back to too many other things, a daughter, a family he killed, a girlfriend he killed, maybe a tie to his own family? Maybe he's got a son he wanted to protect? He had no problem pointing officials to other states, Wyoming, Colorado, Virginia, Canada, Texas, Missouri, Georgia, Arizona, Oregon, Hawaii, Louisiana, Washington state, Idaho, even California. But he never mentions anything on the east coast, VT, CT, NY, NH, ME, MA. Now we know he's got barrels of bodies in NH, but if he's already admitting to murdering Eunsoon, what's the big deal with 4 more murders? Why not admit who Lisa is? I'm beginning to wonder if he really is Robert Evans and that's why he didn't want anyone looking into anything on the east coast. Just wish the detective could have been more detailed about why his accent reminded her of the east coast.

Excellent point.

I'm surprised there isn't a video recording of any of his interrogations or a news broadcast of his arrest, etc. It was the 2000s, after all. I'd like to hear his accent.

You know those most wanted pics/missing pictures that are hung up in post offices/stores....do they get changed out or do they just stay? Are they mainaged by local police? Could you walk into a police station and actually look at a book (like SVU shows a victim flipping through know crooks pics). I know, I watch too much CSI and Law & Order....lol

IIRC, he only got 15 year sentence for killing Jun.I'm thinking he didn't confess to the NH killings because, if he had lived, he had hope of freedom after serving his time in CA. However, if he had also confessed to the 4 deaths in NH, I bet CA would have shipped his behind right off to NH to stand trial - maybe CA couldn't get the death penalty or a harsher sentence for Jun's death, but most likely he'd get one for 4 murders in NH. That's my take on it.
