Reading another news article suggests he may have been riding his bike either naked or with his top off. Which would make sense that shorts haven't been found and a teen boy with no top on would be a lot less of a head turner than a naked boy. I wanted to join the searching this evening but wasn't sure from the police conference if public searching en masse is hindering rather than helping. Perhaps confusing dogs tracking scent. They seemed to want public to limit themselves to their private properties.

My Facebook page just got sent a message about an abandoned house near st malachys school - a popular hangout where kids go to get away from adult eyes (their words not mine).

I advised them to contact 101 with this information and provided the reference number. So hopefully they do, any information can help, no matter how little.

So we know from the press conference he was seen on CCTV entering an alley way going towards Northwood Linear Road. Some houses have what I would call an “alley” dark and fully enclosed above and on each side. One appears to have something that looks like a CCTV camera in it. Others have more bog standard driveways and you can see the thick shrubbery of the park behind them. Did Noah enter an alleyway and climb over it into the park unseen, hence no further sightings? Did someone see him and ask if he wanted to come inside? Did someone mistake him for an intruder which lead to an altercation? Can’t think of why he wouldn’t be seen again on CCTV after entering the alleyway unless he entered a property or limbered over a fence or wall.

Oh I hope the PSNI are across this! I’m sure his friends will be wanting to help as much as possible - I know if it was a friend of one of my boys I’d be encouraging them to tell the police anything at all without fear of me (or them!)

That would make sense Whometoo. Would explain why shorts haven’t been found and depending on quality of CCTV it may be difficult to tell if he was wearing them or not. I keep coming back to how bright it was by 5/6pm that day - anyone who did see him should have had a good view and with the sunshine he probably wouldn’t have looked that out of place in just shorts.

I don’t get it guys. There are soo many people out searching. So many places turned inside out, dogs, helicopters and drones and not a trace. Only when I looked Premier Road up on Google Earth tonight did I realise that I used to drive up it to visit my parents on a Saturday or Sunday. Houses are tightly packed together, lots of dog walkers. Lots of people use it to get from Antrim Road areas of North Belfast onto Shore Road where there are lots supermarkets, garages, shops and a drive through McDonalds. There’s just no way Noah could have been in the area for any length of time without being seen in my opinion - especially given how bright the weather was, we’ve had groups of teens everywhere lately and extra cars and pedestrians milling about visiting relatives for Father’s day. So logically he either quickly entered a property or concealed himself outdoors. If it was the second, surely a trace, a scent, something would have been picked up on? Where are you Noah? :(

How dense are the wooded areas Stella ? Is it possible that Noah has moved himself into an area that has already been searched ?

PSNI say they are very dense Alyce so I guess that is a possibility. Wouldn’t the dogs pick up on a scent though? It’s been fairly dry here, I’m sure his scent traces would be lingering. It’s not a park I’ve ever been in personally unless it was when I was very little and don’t remember. Vague bells ring but nothing I could be sure of!

Ah, I always worry when they stand down volunteers. Hopefully it is just to give the police more space.
Do we know what kind of dogs they have used so far ?

Not sure at all Alyce, all I’ve heard is that dogs have been used in the search for Noah and that SAR Ireland North have said as of this afternoon that their dogs were not involved, so I guess PSNI dogs? Some absolutely mindblowing comments further down the find Noah page.

A huge search operation involving hundreds of people has been launched in a bid to locate Noah.

Among those taking part in the search is a drone team from Foyle Search and Rescue in Derry.

A team of four volunteers specifically trained in the use of UAV had been deployed to Belfast in the Emergency Response Unit van backed up by a mobile support vehicle.
