yeppers I said this yesterday the brother may be kissing that big ole house goodbye plus who knows what else. Even if he was 100 % innocent if the FEDS just think that house was purchased with dirty money its theirs now.

First he would have had to get out of the hotel and get to his private plane. There was zero chance of that happening. But if he could have accomplished the impossible and got to his plane, and taken off, there would have been the problem of a little thing called, radar. They could have tracked the plane anywhere it went. There would have been Air Force jet fighters following him. He would have had to escape from the entire US Air Force. That is movie stuff, not real life. But even if he could have accomplished the impossible two times, then where would he have gone? Every country would have been looking for him. This was a lone wolf suicide mission. He knew he was not going to get away.

The gun he used to kill himself would have been useless as a sniper rifle or in a shootout. He brought it with him, IMO, specifically to use when it was time to shoot himself. I think it's possible he had plans to slip out and hurt more people (like the couple in San Bernardino tried to do) but the plan always ended with kill or be killed in his mind. How many mass shooters survive? How many have ever gotten away? He knew the odds.

Yes, I did see sparks, many times, from the video I watched.

And, I also saw sparks coming from two different windows. This made me think there were two shooters. However, I cannot say if the sparks were at the same time or if they rotatated from one window to the other.

Tried, but couldn't see any. Could be the video I watched moved too much.

Some people are claiming they see flashes in the video, but I have looked and don't see anything. The video is too low of resolution to see anything that well, and she was moving pretty fast. The building is only visible for a few seconds in several parts.

Whenever a tragedy happens I find myself on WebSleuths because of the extraordinary compassion you all have and show within your posts.

This is the first place I go to whenever anything that affects humanity happens. It's because of your profound humanity.

Just some opinions considering the info we have so far:

I would like to know the clues that he expected to survive the shooting and escape. I'm taking this info with a grain of salt until we know more.

My guess on motive: I believe this was a suicide. He was obviously depressed, whether through substance abuse (drugs or alcohol) or personal neglect. (Anorexia is another potential side effect of diazepan)

Due to his skewered thinking and long term unhappiness, he decided to assuage his intense anger at the world and
his life by taking out lots of others simultaneously while still primarily motivated to end his mental suffering.

I still think he had a narcissitic way of primarily thinking about himself first. And once he decided he was going to die, so would the dozens of others go down with him. Collateral damage, if you will.

Choosing a casino/ hotel setting was another strike back at the places he had hung out. Yes, he had made some money but IMO he had also lost a LOT of money. He knew the odds never really favored him.

He had an addictive and controlling personality, plus His defective brain genes, combined with drugs and alcohol set up a lethal way of thinking and he simply acted on this to end his personal mental suffering.

Just my opinion at this point.

It happens all the time though.

No one knew Ariel Castro was holding three young women hostage in his home for years on end. Neighbors described him as nice and helpful neighbor. His own family members who visited the home regularly knew nothing. Yet, those girls were there the entire time.

I could quote many, many cases of those who seem so "normal" and "harmless" but have hidden secrets. We know nothing of his travels overseas or if he has committed crimes and simply hasn't been caught. Did anyone even REALLY know him at all? Or simply what he presented to them?

I am Canadian and we have Russell Williams (sex serial killer), Douglas Garland, and Karla and Paul Bernardo. All "normal" people who lived lies.
