-Do you think Wynns comment about the service elevator sparked a new immediate policy for MB to allow high rollers in the service elevator? Or was that comp in place at MB already?

If so, in my opinion that puts the “service elevator” in a new category. Typically it’s used for vendors-food service-beverages-linens-cleaning supplies-replacement furnishings-paper products-chips and more. Typically a manifest is signed/checked off for this department or that department. I haven’t seen theirs but service elevators are not groomed and refreshing. There is a lot of lingering sweat.

I can only speak for AC, not Vegas, and it was prob 8 years ago, but my girlfriends and I didn’t want to wait for the elevators in the morning bc during checkout good luck getting an elevator. We took the service elevator onfe with no issue. Had housekeeping in the elevator with us at one point. Granted we were 20something hungover girls just wanting to get back to north jersey. But it wasn’t hard. This was at harrahs so not an MGM resort

HOnestly

I can only come up with one reason why a dude that likes the finer stuff really would prefer to ride in an ugly stinky freight elevator that carries garbage!

Especially when there are really nice ones with some of the Carpenters music playing gently in the air conditioned clean smelling background

I’m not an ugly stinky dude and you can read my post above :)

I actually think it would have been riskier for him to ride the freight elevator. I mean no one gave us a problem bc we were a bunch of young girls going home. But a random older dude with a bunch of baggage going up to a room? That’d be sketch especially since you have to show your hotel key to get up the elevators

-I forgot to include the Waste receptors Cariis, they are constant. In a service elevator you can’t lean on the wall or rail. You definitely would not want your luggage or briefcase coming in contact with anything. Spillage is the norm.

I do not believe it’s a conspiracy but what I do question are events that happened afterwards. Like hours later. With some simple looking around on FB, there are several live videos and written accounts from people at other hotels who heard gunshots near their hotels long long after the shooting had stopped. This was again acknowledged on the scanner. There were multiple reports of gunshots and they talk on the scanner of whether these are diversion calls or more gunshots fired. On the scanner it says people were hurried into a back kitchen and were told to hunker down. Again, hours after the shooting and a mile away. Several accounts on social media say the same thing, they don’t know each other, and have no reason to lie. Obviously I can’t post those links to social media but again, they ARE referenced in this scanner audio. It’s over an hour along. The secondary gunshot incidents start sometime after the 1:00 mark.

I know the sheriff talked it up to “confusion” during the chaos but isn’t it important to find out WHO was calling in these reports to several hotels hours after the shooting had taken place?

There is also talk (again on the scanner audio) about a possible suspect in fatigues and a black duffel bag that went into a white RV. A team was formed and they were staked outside, then no mention again.

No that was me who said that. I actually think LVMPD wants to tell the truth but the Feds have muzzled them.

In a case of this magnitude, I am surprised the FBI is not the lead agency on the investigation.

One can only imagine the pressure and tension going on between the two agencies.

For me, I have thought the sheriff has been great and appreciate the pressers he has held to give us information. Too many LE departments want to keep details "close to the vest" which makes it frustrating. I am sure there is much more known about this case that hasn't been shared since it is an ongoing investigation.

We must remember that no two people think alike. Can you imagine what it has been like working on this timeline when every entity involved wants the timeline to look good for their company?

I have not read a post here today where anyone is saying we think they should know complicated stuff.

THE FBi went back for a do over . There are reasons for that! We got significant info -- the shooting range.

I am sure I am incorrect but I cant recall when a redo ( to see if they "missed" something) is all that reassuring !

Would one not feel pretty concerned if a doctor came back and said opps we are concerned we may have not done something

I think it has taken the FBI some time to realize how not ok metro has handled this and is going back .

That would kinda frustrate one -- we got to go back cause they are missing things!

All the way around its imo not a good situation.

We need teamwork - its a mess as it is ?

How do you lose a maintenance man for a week .

A hardcore eyewitness 8 feet away from where everything happened .

Has anyone ever heard of the major player (sec guard) being told -- sure go to take a vacation when your done come on back around-- its ludicrous simply ludicrous

moo

PS who knows there may be a whole bunch of effs up that we know know nothing about

there is a reason the FBI has bought in their mental health folks

valium came out -- two days later medication singular changed to plural ?

Oh there is a ton of this. On the police scanner it also says AFTER the "shooter" is confirmed dead that 3 black vans will be escorted down frank Sinatra Blvd to the airfield. High incident project also "predicted" this.

On the scanner as well - there was somehat lengthy discussion, at the Luxer of a white ( I I think)car with wires hanging out of the truck

the cop was very concerned and admonished peers to stay away from the valet at the hotel

bombs fail he had explosives

I have no idea how in the presser Sheriff gives out the tags of the two cars related to them but cant figure out the colors of the vehicle linked and asked about in last thread
?????

Dont they usually have the color of lthe vehicle in an amber alert if they have the tag number

I also found the airport being closed interesting in that there were not widespread lockdowns even after ww2 was executed - but hours later they close the airport --when they are reporting they think it was a lone wolf ??

Just another comment to add that seems to have been left out of the timeline.

In the beginning, it was reported that the reason the hotel/police were able to locate where the gunshots were coming from so quickly was the room fire alarm went off. This would show up immediately at front desk. ( Not door alarm)

Where did this claim go? Did it get lost or didn't look so good after reporting how long it took the police to get to shooter's room?

There is no second shooter at this point according to LE. And LE does not believe that this is the case as of today.

Natural News is not a reputable news source and is in fact a known source of Fake News and Conspiracy theories.

It is seriously so depressing how pervasive lies, fake news, and conspiracy theories have become in our culture. It feels like its never ending and it is frankly, a dangerous scourge.

Let me see now.....
There was no claim by me that my post was a "fact". Nothing is further from the truth, certainly not fact, it was just another source. I have no knowledge whatsoever concerning anything about that source, I just found it interesting. Are there some sort of biases here I'm not aware of? Yes? No? Oh well, my apologies if I offended in some way. I can take it or leave it, lol. :)

That said, rather than post something as though it's fact, as you just did, how about we all try responding with a little objectivity. I think that would be a good start, no?

Funny I am scared to look this up !!!

WHile we are at it my dear ! Someone who is eating thousands of dollars of sushi ( he he ) the service elevators open into the bowels of a hotel

its a big property -- that can be a gross walk as well

Another things they got all wrong was the release that he was using her employee cards to travel bowels of the hotel but then they discovered that she does not work there

this is basic stuff

it was reported as a lot more than just the service elevator -- got the impression of James Bond when I first heard it !

Described as an employee card -- think about that -- mix that in with someone being in his room while he was gone

talk about a split personality ha !

Employee access card ............

maintenance man goes on vacation?? Linked earlier -- allowed to leave town

Presser same one Sheriff:

Anticipates being in the room and

at the concert area

has anyone ever seen any LE entity combing the site of the massacre?

Ever

oh Campo heard drilling--so if in the new version if he already did what he wanted to what is he drilling afterwords

It becomes crazier a rent a cop is shot and afterwards world war three starts and he is gonna just stand there unarmed for 10 minutes

everyone else's reaction was to run!!

if you were him , out of the goodness of your heart would you stand around for 10 minutes

your bodies natural reflex would be to run

what did he think he could do ask him to please stop (please is important)

While turning sec guard into a hero why did we not hear about a maintenance man for days --the sec guard saved him life as well.

Sheriff:

"What I am comfortable in saying is what I believe"

he is getting himself in more problems

sounds like what he "believes" might have happened (he should come here-) might be a difference of opinion between someone else

...........maybe the FBI??
I've seen multiple videos of police combing the concert site.

I'm not sure if anyone would find this valuable information, but here's another data point. I was digging through my range bag for an unrelated reason and realized I still had some .308 rounds. So here's an image that should give those unfamiliar with firearms the relative sizes of the most predominant rounds used during the shooting. The smaller round is .223 Remington, the larger is .308 Winchester.

As has been pointed out earlier upthread, the .223/5.56 round is a fairly small, high-velocity round. It's just a hair bigger than a .22 round in diameter.

The actual bullet of a .308 is the same 7.62mm round you'd find in an AK-47, 30-30, 30-06, and most of those other .30 projectiles. The difference is in the cartridge and powder load. It's has just a slightly lower velocity than the .223 round, but is heavier, so expends more energy upon impact. These are the rounds allegedly fired at the fuel tanks, likely because it has an effective range of about 800m when fired from the AR-10 platform, compared to the 500-600m from an the .223 round fired out of an AR-15 platform. According to the newest reports, these are also the incendiary rounds he was using. While I don't know the specifics on exactly what type of ammo he was using, this likely means that they produced a small explosion upon impact. Incendiary capabilities are usually found in a round with combination of armor piercing and incendiary properties, but those are generally restricted from sale to private indivual

Thanks so much for this information. And thanks for your great patience responding to all my questions all day in a way that I could understand. I deeply appreciate the education.

I sure hope you did not think I was implying your stinky!!

I would think in 5 star resorts only employee id swipe cards can use behind the scenes anything ~

I think there is going to be a huge lawsuit against MGM.

-Absolutely, in my opinion. They have not yet made a statement to address the public, they are farming it to a 3rd party-Crisis prevention. Not good.

I think there is going to be a huge lawsuit against MGM.

There are lawyers on line outlining all the reason why you can sue the pants off them

carried on about how they all have broken window alerts -- sounds kinda crazy to me

what is the purpose of that -- its not like we should wire our huge facility with sensors -- after all someone could come in with machine guns . break out our windows and shoot at a bunch of people ?????

call today for free assessment ~

ha

but in reality - imo when people sue a huge entity they drag it along so long one would have alzheimer's by then and forgotten they filed a law suit !!!

Proof of what?? LE isn’t saying he didn’t haul up the weapons and ammo. He brought them up over the course of days, probably in inconspicuous luggage. It’s not like he walked thru the casino strapped with 20 semi autos across his body, swinging a rifle around his head like a lasso.

I read on some site online that he brought the rifles up in golf bags. I cannot find the source of that information now.
Has anyone else read that?
