Agreed.. It doesn't mean the woman had anything to do with it at all, but possible knowledge. Again, coincidences? BH changed what she said after she found out it was only one shooter. Initially she thought 3 shooters. However she also said she retreated to her room after she heard the threat from the the woman. Her initial instincts told her something in the moment and now because it's said there's only one shooter something changes for her? So what if SP wasn't the lone person? MOO

That seems pretty off the wall and random to me to suspect a Mandalay security guard may have gotten out of his security clothes, not been missed at work, gained entry to a ticket-only event, walked around with a woman who was telling people who would not get out of the way so that she could shove her way to the front of the stage that they were going to die, not be recognized by any concert security even when escorted out, go back and change into security clothes (again while not being missed at work), and within about 30 minutes get shot in the hall - all because he is Hispanic and was at work in the hotel the shooter was in.

That sounds almost...unbelievable.

Could be but I'm no gun expert, just know what I read.
What I've read that fully automatic weapons are very difficult to obtain as well as expensive, like $65,000 each.

Not necessarily hard to obtain, per se. But you do have to run all of your auto purchases through the ATF, and the approval process can be quite lengthy (6+ months). I would also assume that submitting a massive number of Form 4s to the ATF in a short period of time would trigger all sorts of alarms and you'd get yourself raided pretty quickly.

Because firearms manufactured after 1986 aren't eligible for private sale, they are quite expensive. Looking at $15,000 for a cheap gun like an AK-47, $30k+ for an M16.

I'm not putting words in your mouth. The only reason you gave was that he was Hispanic and in the vacinity. From there I tried to put together what steps would have had to be taken. Yes, they get breaks, but generally a 15 minute break or 30 minute max for lunch. He had to be at the end of 2nd shift or beginning of 3rd shift most likely, not covering a lunch break.

Plus, the people you are speaking of were deep in the crowd attempting to get to the stage. How long would it take to wait in line, present tickets, get armband, and wade through a crowd of 22,000 people to get toward the front where the stage is?

You presented a possible theory and I am simply testing that theory. If you present one here you should be prepared for others to test your theory.

t was stir crazy here for a time.. Cariis had just come on and she was posting about the new interview with the 2nd maintenance guy and I was trying to tell her about the breaking fake news all excitedly but she was still reading the day posts and not getting it cos she was responding to them..

Not sure... I know the other post regarding CNN was fake, but rereading her reply , sounds like both might be fake... When all this was going on, I asked if WS had been hacked because it was really strange...

I know the too-tired-to-remember feeling which frequently turns me into a basketcase.

He hAD to have seen Campos/compos because he had 2 CCTV cameras on his food trolley outside his door.. I assume one pointed each way.
He could easily have ceased drilling until sG had left.. Why did he not?
This not helped by the variety of stories reported and the conflicting statements by hotel.
He had to have seen him, especially if he was drilling beside the door and the cameras..IF he was drilling..if that was true..
The story is now controlled by LE and the FBI..They are in conflict, in public conflict to boot.
The hotel is also in conflict, presumably with both which means they are likely to be less than helpful with the investigation and will probably lawyer up real quick and real expensively because they face mega lawsuits if its proven they did not have adequate security or protocols in place and operating.
Its a bit of a horror story.. badly handled..and peoples' lives jeopardised as a result.
I agree with the post that stated police cannot walk into a bomb and must proceed with caution and my reading of their behaviour is that they acted correctly during the event, thats from seeing so very many terrorist attacks and knowing a bit of the protocols.
That was during the event leading up to them entering the room.
But I do NOT know whether he suicided or met police fire.. I dont know who has this info either, possibly hotel staff..

Actually if we really think about it it has never been proven that the fingers attached to the SP pulled any triggers!

What we do know for real is a person fired shots out a door and two windows.

I have an Mlife card, I also got the email from MB. They want to see my Mlife ID/card if i'm using it for buffets, rooms etc. Maybe that is where the 'employee ID' came from. The 'card' changes color depending levels and security stripes on back, so maybe that is all he needed to use the other elevator. Also, the 'service' elevator may not have been the same one people are thinking of. They do have private elevators for high profile people (think entertainers) and their security, whatever they bring in, etc. So it may not have been a nasty dirty elevator. Many of the casinos have private elevators that can only be used by code or ID card.

Your first paragraph re: the id card echoes my thoughts. That is what I initially suspected, especially since his brother talked about how fanatic he was about using his card, immediately, my mind went there and I thought that was the card implied. It is sooo confusing, reading all the news reports! There is fake news, bad reporting, reporting with an agenda, and the usual 15 minutes of fame exaggerated liars!!! My goodness! This is why it is so important for Law enforcement to be very clear, and communicate honestly in pressers, because unfortunately, sometimes, that is all we have firmly, from their lips to our ears ...
