Would the headliner play more songs than others? I have no idea how long they play for. Last night Aldean said he was going to play for that concert the one that Vegas didn't get to see (paraphrased). The first seven songs were the same. It lead me to believe he was suppose to play 20 songs in Vegas.
The only reason I am interested in how long Aldean had to play is because I belive the shooter thought he had time for his last minute preps. How did he know he had time? Did he know? Answers we may never get, but I wonder.

At festivals, sets last closer to 45 minutes (give or take) rather than the 90-minute sets usually performed on tour. Aldean’s tour gigs run about 22 songs, counting encores. A festival set might be closer to 14-15 total.

When will they answer the real questions?

Are they just discounting the numerous eye witness accounts of multiple shooters? Is that how they seek out the truth?

What a farce.

According to many eyewitness accounts don't count for squat. They are stressed and confused with everything going on, don't know what they saw or heard and clearly mistaken. If you ask questions, you're a CT.

Wow that seems like so many!! I guess It’s been far too long since I’ve been to a festival bc I thought 10 seemed like a lot at first, but thinking about it I guess 10 isn’t all that much. I need to get out more lol

You could be right. I still think he thought he had more time. One reason is because he took the time and thought to set up the cart with a camera but it wasn't turned on. Why do all that if he wasn't going to use the camera? He forgot? He wasn't ready yet to need the camera?

I hear ya. I’m just not sure there’s a way to know for certain unless we can find a copy of his contract for that show. Or, unless he or his booking/management/label or the festival organizers made a statement about just how short he had to cut that Vegas set.

I'm not arguing with you though. I can see both sides.

It's pretty clear that his brother Eric has either been lying or did not really know his brother like he thought he did.

It sounded to me like he knew squat and used him for his money. So who knows if he even gave Eric money. Maybe it was given to Mom, and Eric did as he pleased. JMO

I have seen reports that he had just started and ones saying this was his last song. On the setlist websight that I have used many times to see concert set lists it says thus was Aldean seventh song.
He was the headliner would he play only seven songs?
I dont know if I can post the link because it is a .fm not a .com, but a search for Jason Aldean setlists brings it up.

I know. I ended up getting conflicting information, too, and the festival website has no info now. It shows a sort of memorial now.
