I'm not there yet. I am still trying to find evidence that Paddock was the lone shooter. Video in the hallways would answer a lot of questions.

My imagination is getting the better of me but surely you wouldn't expect MB to release all their security video to the public so that we could skim through it to ensure no other potential suspect might've entered his room during the four days prior? As apparently the elevators had cctv security, should we be given names and addresses of those persons in order determine why they were there? Could we also be permitted access to conduct DNA tests? Otherwise how could it ever proven to the public that no other person entered the room? Proving a negative is impossible. The role of law enforcement is to conduct investigations, not that of anonymous people on the internet.

Excellent post/repost, Bears! Insightful. Thank you.

I’ve posted this in just about every other thread. I’m not sure if you have me on ignore or something but hopefully you see it this time around

Copy and pasting one of posts from a now closed thread. I would not be surprised if there is not surveillance footage from the hotel hallways.

Las Vegas casinos — some of the most closely watched spaces in the world — don’t have video cameras in guest room hallways, an absence that hotel workers like Patrick, patrons and prosecutors say can act as a green light for crime.

Casino bosses say there is no need for extra security: America’s playground boasts more cameras per square foot than any airport or sports arena in the country, with thousands of high-tech lenses watching the gambling floors, lobbies and elevators.

snip

Yet The Associated Press found that 23 of the 27 major Strip casinos have no surveillance in hotel hallways or elevator landings. All but four of the 27 hotels are owned by MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment Corp., Las Vegas Sands Corp. or Wynn Resorts Ltd.

That's from an incident in 2013 when a maid was attacked in the hallway. I don't think surveillance in the hotel hallways is nearly as important to the hotels as it is in the casinos. They care about protecting their money and making sure things are running smooth on the casino floor. They probably don't care too much what goes on in the hallways of the hotel. Well maybe now they do, but I don't think it was that much of a concern before this. JMO

The below link has some pics of the inside of a Vegas surveillance room. I only skimmed the article bc it's long, but it's interesting.

Something out of kilter? Agreeing, w post by enelram on last thread: “Well, maybe Eric isn't so benevolent after all. What I read- between the lines- is that Eric wanted the law firm to sayone thing to the media, but do another thing- turn assets over to Eric insteadof victims. Local attorneys are wise to pull away and not tarnish their local reputation. Not to mention, Eric appears a little difficult as a client. I'd walk away also.”

I posted before, I thought Eric was premature in saying that he would use his brother’sassets for a trust to benefit victims. Certainly a laudable idea on his part, but ….
Does Eric know he will receive $$$ from the estate? Does he know that (other) beneficiaries are willing to renounce their shares from the estate, toallow him to place $ in a trust for the victims? Or that they would receive $ thru the probate procedure and transfer that $ to a trust Eric estab’s?
Nobody^ mentioned a will. Did shooter leave a will or die intestate? Article says filed in district ct, not probate ct.
A link to pdf of petition law firm CCLG filed? Anyone? Thx in adv.

Eric's statement leads me to believe he believes Mom will be awarded assets. Mom has already given Eric POA which
allows him full access to sign for Mom. This would insure that Eric has full rights to the assets via Mom.

This has been discussed, iirc. The suspect shot through the door at one of the first responders. There are multiple links in these threads. Now I'm curious! What's the problem you see, CARIIS?

Houston we have another problem

could see the suspect's door was just riddled with bullet holes coming out. it looked like Swiss cheese.

?????

Our problems continue

bullet-ridden door

Sheriff was pissed !! He said something like we will be doing an internal investigation

but this make sense in terms of a timeline of when the pics were taken

.
who the hell released them?
who had access?
His dept was in charge of preserving that scene.. nobody should have released them unless he decided it was ok to do so.
It was also Sheriff who voiced suspicion that Paddock had help.. link is in long post with links re tanks I sent you..

Campos was legitimately in the hotel. He worked there. He had a right to be there, he wore a hotel uniform and identifiable as a hotel employee.
He was also wounded.

I agree that the single shooter proclamation was made extremely soon after the event.

I have no idea how they could call it that early in a venue that large with a huge crowd.

They have examined the bodies and they have examined the carnage, they have come to the conclusion that a single person with the arsenal they saw was capable of doing the damage they did with the ammunition that would have been proven to have come from one of the weapons in his room.

Had they discovered death from other weapons, not in his possession, the Coroner would have made quite a fuss about it..
The Coroner is responsible for the deceased casualties, each would have had an autopsy and the type of weapon determined.

The only one the Coroner is querying is the alleged shooter himself.
He has yet to determine whether his death was by suicide, homicide or some organic reason..

If there were other shooters, they escaped and they will never be found now.

The reality here is LE has , since the night of planting the seed, has avoided any discussion of lone wolf or multiple shooters

they got everyone tangled up in a timelines that at its core has nothing to do with anything other than money 10 years out

moo

the real deal here is follow the money

just follow the money

ah it looks like it has been yanked??

can you guys get it

Well yes, it’s been stated most of the casino hotel areas have cameras near the elevators.

But hallways can be difficult for security cameras to capture — they might be too long or too dark to show what's actually happening — so hotels instead put cameras on bottlenecks like elevator banks. “Typically they want to see who’s coming onto the floor and off the floor, and they can tell now who goes into rooms with the keycards,” the expert said.

The other links I posted also talked about cameras near elevator banks.

Sorry for changing subject, I think I read all the posts here, being pedantic by nature and going nuts when others dont but did you get to have a chat with your glazier at all regarding the breaking of the windows?

If anyone has a clue how to do it it would be
interesting to see if any changes in the hotel insurance coverage had been made !!

What happens with the 100k that were wired to the Philippines?

I was wondering the same. That’s why upthread I brought up MD. I am taking a complete guess that it’s still in the Philippines. I would not be surprised if she goes back to live in Australia after all is said and done, whenever that is. I can’t say Id blame her if she did. Actually it would prob make more sense for her to live in the Philippines probably. We don’t know how much money she has of her own, or if they have any joint accounts that she has access to, but $100k isn’t a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.

It was wired while SP was alive. He was free to give his money to anyone he so chose. I don't see any reason that it's not hers to keep. Unless LE can prove it was earned illegally or stolen from someone else.
If she's smart, she'll cash the check and bury the money for awhile.

No :( I haven’t had a chance to see him without my boss being there too, and I am NOT engaging my boss in this conversation bc he truly believes some absurd CTs and goes on and on and on once he gets started.

IIRC he "went out of town".

I may be remembering this incorrectly but - and this is just me I would not want to be traveling after I just got shot.

there are plenty of places right in town to rest.

The getting out of town, has more meaning now that the news has reported that he is being protected from something .

Thus far I have not read a post accusing him of anything -- just a discussion of the many oddities as it relates to the case.

And again , we have to remember LE has not cleared anyone -- everyone is under investigation in this far reaching investigation.

We really at this point do not know one way or the other if he is POI or not. Nothing has been stated by LE either way- so its probably ideal if we wait for this investigation to move forward.

-someone mentioned in connection to this thread that JC has been investigated by FBI? I haven’t seen that, is there a link? I don’t care to make any assumptions on whether he is or isn’t a victim, especially if that hasn’t been officially confirmed.

-It just so happens that there is more peculiar activity surrounding him versus anyone else at this point so it is a natural curiosity. Eric in my opinion is the 2nd in regards to peculiar behavior but as far as we know he wasn’t in the hallway outside of his brothers room that night or the first engaged contact. That is a significant point, victim or not.

-From observation JCs collective activities are mysterious. The M-I-A has accelerated the mystery.

Well if it was a payoff to his g/f, it wasn't very much at all. a bit of an insult really.
Presumably she has spent it.. when he sent it he had not done anything illegal,
He allegedly told her to buy a house with it..

Other possible reasons are pure ly speculative..
One is that he may have planned on escaping and heading straight for Philippines to join her, but it was not very much money if it was going towards making a new life with a new identity. thats a longshot.
its also possible he had made several such cash lodgements to banks there..
i am interested in his will, from reading other posts..if there was a will.
i think i will have a search

Theres so much we do not know and by the time Oprah interviews her we will all have moved on.
A mean little gesture on his part.. He was a mean man.. I dislike him intensely..

NO of course i don't expect that.

However, what i do expect is in the coming months for them to release video proof of the alleged narrative. Video of Paddock bring numerous large suitcases to his room... and if it can be proven they actually do have cameras, well then i want to see what they show. I am just setting up the questions. The evidence can come later.

The statements from LE saying SP's BODY and BRAIN are going to Stanford for further studying has me concerned about a couple details.
Why would they ship whole body and not just organs and brain?
Has anyone seen when the body was removed from hotel and taken to ME?

I've been reading articles on post mortem exams of brain and how they determine certain pathologies. the articles
continually stress the importance of proper preservation of body (and brain), how long after death body was fixated,
proper methods of fixation, chemicals to use or not use, etc. Failure to properly handle/preserve the body/brain
limits the accuracy as well as the outcome of many post mortem exams. In other words, it can easily be messed
up if body/brain are not properly handled and stored.

My concern is, in many murder investigations we've all seen bodies being left where killed for hours and hours after
the crime/death. Not to mention how long the body/brain was at LV ME office before being sent to Stanford.
so, not to be a pessimist but I have genuine concern that SP's brain tissue would still be viable for intricate cellular
study. My understanding is that brain tissue is highly degradeable if not properly handled and considering the
other problems we've seen with this investigation, I'm concerned. Hope I'm wrong.

I dont see swiss cheese i see cheese with a scrape or so !! Not 200 high power bullets being ejected from a machine gun !!!!

I also thought it was peanuts. Look at it this way: $100,000 for 3 yrs. is 33,333 per year, 93.62 per day, $3.90/hr.

Yes, $3.90 per hour to put up with being his nursemaid, housecleaner, gambling buddy, sex partner, mommy surrogate
and to listen to his round the clock whining and his God-like attitude. She lost on that deal.
