That reminds me of something the woman said, who claimed to have spent time with SP, certainly not comparing SP to your boss. I too know several people who see conspiracies behind everything, big and little. They only follow certain websites and are oblivious to what's reported in the news. It will be interesting to learn SG's internet habits and favourites.

And at some point I would hope an independent attorney became involved, in the signing of agreements. If so, perhaps that attorney also advised him of the various pending lawsuits in the wind and that anything he said during the media interviews can become evidence in later lawsuit proceedings, no matter if what he said was unintentionally misconstrued. It's one thing for key witnesses to take the stand in the courtroom because they have an attorney to stand by them, quite another to be interviewed on infotainment type shows.

Not to forget the fake xxxdash internet news of his involvement and did he realize for whatever reason there's people out there avidly looking to turn him from a unarmed security guard just doing his job and almost getting killed into a co-conspirator of SP? His media appearance was scheduled the following evening iirc. The timing is worth considering, coincidental or not.

I remain perplexed by the Union President appeared to condone JC being interviewed and risk every movement he made, every word he spoke being used to further stoke wild speculation upon a human tragedy, not yet thoroughly investigated. I'm glad for his sake he balked.

The key card things are the same thing. Just a computer recording stuff- so the likelihood of human error ( like the hotel is claiming with the timeline).

Its computers -- they don't like think!
They do what they programmed to do.

So it might be , pretty confidently say his room key opened his door while his car was out driving -------what else can that mean??

just an assumption from the pic of him -- his host glass was in his left hand i think most people drink with dominant hand-- the gun was interestingly on the right side

Someone else pointed out earlier that many left handers shoot with their right hand due to eye dominance. It's not as simple to say that a left hander would shoot with left hand. (Plus, as I pointed out the first time you brought this up, I realized as I was reading what you wrote I had a cigarette and my glass in my left hand even though I am right handed and not ambidextrous.)

And if indeed he had been standing when he took the shot, if it was he who took the shot, it could also explain the gun resting on his leg which possibly fell down when he did too..
I never thought of that possibility..

I dont even know why I thought someone would lie down or sit comfortably while shooting themselves in head/ mouth /whatever..

Would hardly be worthwhile getting nice and snug and comfy before they experienced the most awful pain..
Strangely his death mask was that of someone who died peacefully..

Interesting. It never occurred to me that someone would bother to sit down. Personally, I think I would just be standing, pick up the gun, and go. If he was in any kind of hurry to do it before the door was breached, I'd say he did it in whatever position he was in when he grabbed that gun.

It's possible the Local President was trying to talk him into waiting until he had his own lawyer with him. Some of the news outlets may have been offering him money for an interview and, as a naive guy, he may have been tempted to take it. Makes sense especially if he had nothing to hide and an interesting story to tell, but didn't realize the consequences. I wouldn't be surprised if he resurfaces and does some interviews with a lawyer present, if it doesn't interfere with the investigation.

However, what i do expect is in the coming months for them to release video proof of the alleged narrative. Video of Paddock bring numerous large suitcases to his room... and if it can be proven they actually do have cameras, well then i want to see what they show. I am just setting up the questions. The evidence can come later.

That's fair. Because LE has already stated there's no evidence of a second shooter. So in that they have no evidence of a second shooter, then the logical conclusion is there's no other person involved. That would also suggest evidence eventually released to the public reveals no indication of a second shooter.

With no evidence to support a second shooter, the presence of a second shooter cannot be proven. Full circle.

That could be -- he is lucky-- I can not recall a for profit entity hop on the bandwagon , our of there own pocket to protect what has been called a hero for a long time .

The point is that someone who goes after him likely would not view him as a hero, but rather, part of a conspiracy.

If it was your kid or kid brother, you might be worried about him, too.

There are many questions unanswered so far from law enforcement. Hopefully in time, more answers will be forthcoming. I realize that this is still an ongoing investigation.

As for the timeline changing, could this possibly be from a motivation to make Las Vegas hotels seem safer than they are? The "six minute delay in calling 911" did produce some hysteria (and understandably so!) from media websites.

Las Vegas City as well as the hotels have a huge invested interest in showing that their hotels and area are safe.

Just a few thoughts as to the question of 911 not being called immediately, as initially reported, then changed.

IIRC he "went out of town".

I may be remembering this incorrectly but - and this is just me I would not want to be traveling after I just got shot.

there are plenty of places right in town to rest.

The getting out of town, has more meaning now that the news has reported that he is being protected from something .

Thus far I have not read a post accusing him of anything -- just a discussion of the many oddities as it relates to the case.

And again , we have to remember LE has not cleared anyone -- everyone is under investigation in this far reaching investigation.

We really at this point do not know one way or the other if he is POI or not. Nothing has been stated by LE either way- so its probably ideal if we wait for this investigation to move forward.

Unless he is named as a suspect or POI, he is considered a victim.

I thought it was later established that he was staying in a hotel in the city. But even if he wasn't, "out of town" could be and probably was very nearby, perhaps with family or a friend. I wouldn't go home alone after such an experience, either, especially if I had been shot.

Surveillance video from 2011 from inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas shows the Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock slipping on a puddle of liquid. Paddock sued the hotel but lost the lawsuit.

Maybe posted before, I forget, but if not this video is interesting. It's reported elsewhere that SP lost the suit because the video surveillance revealed other people walking through the wet area but not falling.

It's rather weird, looks like he did the splits, must've had weak leg muscles after all those hours day after day sitting in the casino. Or maybe he faked the fall, who knows.

I need to ask a question. Why is it if it's only in MSM it is a creditable source, but reports from people THERE are not creditable? Journalists report on what they are paid to report. And if they are independent they are CT. So do some digging and look for information from REAL people who were there. You can tell they were there. Pics of themselves and friends at the event etc. I for one have zero reason not to believe and respect these people who were actually at the tragedy. It irritates me that people discount them.*

One big reason is because if it's from SM only, we have no idea if that person was in in LV, let alone if they had their device confiscated. SM allows anyone to claim anything to a wide audience and attention seekers and others with other, more nefarious motives, have been known to post false information before. Some have even raised thousands of dollars on their fake claims and been caught and prosecuted.

Initially sheriff said they were investigating who went into SP's room, used a key card, while surveillance showed his car
gone from his parking space. Sheriff quickly buried that thought in the next pc and said they'd figured it out. The end.
