The Rev. Clete Kiley told Newsweek that he confronted what he called the “mystery of evil” while performing a Roman Catholic rite on October 18 inside a room on the hotel’s 32nd floor. It was from this room that Paddock unleashed a barrage of bullets onto a country music festival on Oct. 1, killing 58 people and wounding hundreds more.

Kiley, who is affiliated with the hospitality workers’ union UNITE HERE, was in Las Vegas to comfort traumatized staff at the Mandalay Bay ― some of whom he said were nervous about returning to the 32nd floor. After the FBI released the floor back to the hotel, he told the Chicago Sun Times that he brought a glass of water and a palm branch with him to perform a cleanse.

When the temporary door that had sealed the crime scene was opened, Kiley said he felt as if he was “pushed back.”

“In my mind, I found myself saying to myself: ‘Oh no, you have to go.’ I instinctively began to pray in silence: ‘St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Protect us against the wickedness and snares of the devil,’”

yeah.. sure.. why not?
Seriously though.. its a strange thing indeed.
There are few enough exorcists in the catholic church..
some of it could well have been projected thoughtforms.. horror projected through those broken windows.. I think that leaves an imprint.
but it would have received a lot of prayer too..
I remember noticing Paddock's death mask.. he looked very very peaceful indeed..
I am assuming the priest is legit?
I wish he had described the 'mystery of evil' bit in more detail..

All of the timelines have shown that Paddock opened fire on the crowd at 10:05 p.m. What time did Campos report that he had been shot? Police have never said, and Lombardo didn’t elaborate on that in the televised interview...."

IIRC JC said he was on the 31st floor when he got the call about the door alarm. So he uses the stairwell to the 32nd floor but it's blocked, calls in, then continues using the stairwell to the 33rd floor, takes the elevator back down to the 32nd floor, As he's heading down the hallway in the area of the fire escape blocked door and room 32135, he gets shot at and then calls in a second time..

Well okay, if we voted on versions this one does seem somewhat more logical to me.

"Two Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers already were at the Mandalay Bay on another call and began working their way up the stairs as the shooting began. They, too, came across the barricaded stairwell door.

“So that was right around 10 minutes they were able to do that. So that’s pretty amazing in public safety time you call dispatch, you get a revise, you formulate a plan, you ascend the stairwell, you have no idea what floor it is, you’re receiving information from disparate directions, and then you encounter this blocked doorway — and that was right around 10 minutes,” Lombardo said.

“And then our other officers ascended via the elevator bank and came out into the foyer or hallway from the elevator bank there — right around 12 minutes. During that time, the suspect had stopped firing. And so when we don’t hear any firing taking place, then it becomes slow and methodical.”
