If so, has he been clean for these years, or just lucky? My guess is lucky. I don't think you live a crime-free life for 10 or 12 years after doing time for the things he did as a teen, and then wake up one day and decide you are going to abduct and sexually assault or kill someone...

With going back and forth between Fallon, Reno and Elko, he could potentially have a 250-300 mile hunting range so it would make it easier to fly under the radar of LE. I very much doubt that this is the first incident since 1997.

That is a completely separate incident (filmed by the youtube creator) than the one from the woman in Fernley who took the video in the parking lot across from Walmart.

LYON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

March 30, 2022

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022 Investigators from the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office along with a Detective from the Lyon County Sheriff’s office responded to a remote part of Churchill County following a tip regarding the disappearance of Naomi Irion. Their investigative actions led them to a possible gravesite, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Investigative Services team was contacted and responded to assist in processing the scene.

The body of an adult Caucasian female was recovered from that gravesite, the body was transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy and to confirm identification. On March 30, 2022 the remains were confirmed as those of Naomi Irion, the family has been notified.

No further information can be released at this time as this is still an open and active investigation.

We would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to the Irion family and thank all the volunteers for their hard work in trying to find Naomi and bring closure to the family. The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work closely on these cases.

Could this affect the bail decision made today? Would the prosecution be able to add charges and keep him from getting out on the previous bail amount? I'm worried if he gets out he's going to run and hide.
