So here's the thing, I actually think I may have spotted Steven on Monday. At a bus stop - of all places.

I didn't want to say so here and I will NOT publicly say where it was. I have advised people who can inform the family or the PI if they wish. I have a full-time job and so I'm not free to hang out at this bus stop all day, every day. And, I have not seen this person again since - not for lack of trying.

I have been looking for Steven every day for months. I've seen many guys I thought may have been him and I have said here that I was afraid if his appearance had changed, I didn't think I would recognize him.

This guy looked very much like the Steven we have seen in the pics we have. If I didn't believe it may have been Steven, I wouldn't have told anyone.

I don't want to be responsible for yet ANOTHER bogus tip. But I had to tell certain people because I do think it may have been Steven.

I know many here believe Steven is no longer with us. Ya'll know I'm not one of those people. I have attempted to relate what I saw to the right people. It's up to them to decide how to use the information.

I am quite certain that the "couple" sighting is the Best Buy/Home Depot one. If GSMITH spoke with GW and GW related the sighting information I believe it is realistic to think that GW received the information from directly from the source of the sighting.

I believe so, too. In fact, there's an 8newsnow.com news story that we all read at the time, that pretty much confirms that source.

I hope so too, RR. I really do. I want him to be alive and well and the guy I saw appeared to be well.

I just can't be sure and I don't want to be responsible for a bad "tip" and for stringing people along. If I didn't really believe it MAY have been Steven, I would never have said a word.

We shall see. It's pretty much out of my hands now.

Fairy1.....I have prayed that Steven would be found safely and that you would have the persistence to keep looking. Many thanks to you for
keeping an eye open every day.
 
I'm truly NOT looking for any kudos here - or anything else. I just want Steven to be found safely.

I really don't know if it was him. But it's the first guy I've seen - ever - who really looked like Steven. And there were certain factors that made sense - in terms of what we THINK we know.

I guess we will see. I will continue to go by the area daily. I've not seen this guy since Monday, and I was really hoping the timing and the stop were work-related and would be a daily thing. Vegas is a 24/7 city - so who knows?

I will continue looking for Steven!

That means a previous crime is being covered up; a crime that's not been discovered?

1 - GW has SK's phone and uses it to call his (GW's) phone.

2 - GW gives SK's phone back to SK, so SK can answer SA's call?

3 - GW drives back to St George and goes to church.

4 - SK drives into a neighborhood, parks, and walks down a street, freely.

5 - SK disappears.

2. So when SA called SK on SK's phone (phone records), SA was really talking to GW?
 
Kudos Fairy1! I'm so thankful for all our Vegas buddies who are keeping their eyes open for Steven. I've been on the "Steven is no longer with us" team; but I'd be really happy to be wrong.

Fairy1 - Can you give us a few more details? I realize you don't want to talk about location...can you tell us what he was wearing? Was he unshaven and disheveled? What features helped you identify him as Steven? TIA. You did the right thing by reporting what you saw, no matter what comes of it.

Does anyone else think this suggests a mental break? If Steven chose to disappear and doesn't want to be found, why is wandering around Vegas?

I'm flummoxed: WHY, when she was spotted by someone who knew her, didn't that person call the police immediately OR notify casino security (apparently, The Rio)? Or both? Fairy1 told us that casino security tapes are required (by law) to be held at least 72 hours. There would have been a trail of that person's movements all through the casino.

Because it's seen as Sin City, a place that "good Steven" wouldn't frequent?

I'd also love to be proven wrong, and that he purposefully disappeared.

The person that said it was her, asked her where she had been and then she took off. I know they are holding press conferences and things about it. Just another situation of hoping someone is found? Hopefully they will look at the tapes for the families sake, but they have pronounced her deceased. Fox5Vegas said she suffers from being bipolar and News 3 said that she isn't in trouble, but for her to contact her family.

Just another crazy disappearance, you want answers and to really know it is them. I would love it if Fairy1 did really in fact see Steven, but now to find him again.

That's right.

A purposefully-missing person could be lost and found multiple times; but at least, if there was an initial positive ID, there'd be answers -- and the hope that someday, they'd return. Or accept help.

I understand why she was arrested, but letting her go without ANY of her personal possessions (her car, purse and everything else) was pretty careless of LE, I believe.
If they thought she was OK when they released her, couldn't someone have had a heart and at least returned her to her vehicle?
 
If Steven was riding a bus, he either missed the press on the bus ride story or doesnt care. Which is interesting.
