I'm still here thinking about Jen every day :(. I don't have much to add though. We are flying from here to St. Louis in a couple weeks and I was hoping to get a quick trip on to NY to see family. Unfortunately it's not going to happen because of the way the appointments are set up for my daughter (we are coming to see a specialist). I'm bummed because I would have liked to have been there if there was going to be any kind of event and I thought it might happen.

Good wishes for your little one, yupikgirl.

I wanted to stop by and say I have my blue ribbons on my 2 front trees and plan on them staying there till the person responsible for Jenns death is put away! I'm gonna have my daughter take a picture of my trees for me and I will try to post it tomorrow. We all are here waiting for justice and we will get it!!

That's great news! I can't wait to see the photo. I'm glad Jennifer has people like you on her side, nanasbabes. :)

I sure hope we do have a arrest soon! My heart hurts for Jenns parents and children and her sister! On a good note I did talk to someone about putting flowers and ribbons were Jenn was found, and its a go for the locals!! I was there last week and there are some flowers down over the bank were she was, I also have been told that GR has taken the kids there to but I do not know if that is true! I have seen a light blue van up there, I was unsure if you could share with us if that is GRs new van color rick.

Hi NB.....Van has been described to me as silver.

Finally, this morning I managed to get some blue ribbon here in Germany. From a Polish trader although the ribbon itself seems to have come from deepest Russia. What a global effort!

Just after buying it, I managed to stumble on a canoe accident and nearly lost the lot. I can't swim a stroke but I managed to save a paddle. Luckily, the two sturdy male canoeists managed to save themselves. My ribbon has made it safely home, now I have to find the perfect tree.

Good wishes for your little one, yupikgirl.

Thank you :heartbeat: This has consumed our life/thoughts these past few months and planning the trip even more so these last few weeks. I grew up in upstate NY so going there to see family would have been great since we live half way around the world. I would love to go see the signs, flowers, ribbons, etc. for Jen.

Anyway I have been reading when I can. I will be participating more again soon.
I just wanted to pop in and say thanks to RB for the hopeful post :seeya:

Forgot to say I went to chatachuck over the weekend (HUGE weekend market in Thailand selling everything "made in Thailand") and I couldn't find the right ribbon....seriously there were like hundreds and hundreds of ribbon rolls...like giant ones and none the right width. I did find (I think?) the mesh one that Jenny's mom spoke about on Facebook (she said it didn't work well). Bummer it didn't work well because it was sooo cheap (like 50 cents for 100 feet of it!)

With the recent good news of the three girls in Cleveland and the guilty verdict for Jodi Arias, I am praying that justice for Jennifer is next!

Hoping things do come in 3's!

Eagerly awaiting Justice for Jennifer.
And then a celebration!

:)

Stormy weather decided to set in while I was attempting my ribbon tree.

I hate a threatening storm. A person can feel 'something' in the air - it's a weight and a threat of something to come that there's no escape from. You can close your eyes and pretend the sun is shining because it may feel warm, but everytime you open them there are those heavy black clouds all around.

Perhaps it is the energy or electricity in the air; I know it makes me restless and uneasy, and my mutt scuttles around, looking for a safe corner, a refuge. Something is about to break and there's no escape until it does, that's the overwhelming feeling.

I have the sense that somewhere across the ocean, a person who knows what happened to Jennifer wakes up every day with the black clouds of a threatening storm hanging over them. While outside, for everyone else, the air is fresh and the sky is clear blue. Just like Jennifer's eyes.

An online vigil for Saturday is planned by J4J. Everyone please join us in remembering Jennifer in anyway you feel comfortable. I have been bringing Jennifer up in all my conventions, this is my way of bringing awareness to her. There is a candlelight vigil being planned for Jennifer as well, it will most likely be in Norwich. I am hoping to keep it simple with lighting a candle and signing a guest book. We will hopefully be passing out bumper stickers and bringing awareness to Jennifer for the many that still don't even know this has happen in their own backyards. So pitiful on the behalf of our local LE and news! Please join us in any manner you can this Saturday and a date will be given for the candlelight vigil asap.

Thank You!

Thanks for the update upstate! I have popped on Facebook here and there, but only to look at my feed very quickly so I missed that.

Thank you upstate! I'll be joining you - I won't be there, but I'll be joining you. Can you take some pictures for us? Just in case the media let us down........

I was asked to get an opinion from everyone, I will also have j4j post this question later. A memorial is in the works (we know what we want to do) We are doing a nice sign that says, "Jennifer Ramsaran" Please help us decide on what else it should say - I was thinking, "Stolen from us too soon" or something similar. Go ahead and give us some ideas and help us get this memorial up for Jennifer!

The second part of the memorial will be some sort of sculpture. Thank You Firefox and Bob Clemens, the artist that created the sculpture for Megan Sharpton. Megan was a young nursing student that was murdered and she will be remembered by this beautiful piece made for her memorial. We just thought this would be perfect (not repeating the stars of course) I have thought something that represents her artistic side, maybe one of her pieces or a piece that has knitting needles in it or made with knitting needles? Anything really, something as unique and beautiful as Jennifer was. So any ideas at all or maybe we have a sculptor among us? Brain storm and let's make this memorial.

I see where something on Center rd was being talked about, that is great! Need anything at all with that, let me know and I will help! I haven't seen anything being done other than these two, but even if something is being planned, there can't be too many, IMO. Ours will be simple, maybe a bigger one can go there later? I have a feeling though, this will be perfect for Jennifer and I can't wait to hear more ideas!

Anyone is welcome to join us locally and even if someone wants to make or send something, something I have a PO box that can be used to get whatever is wanted to be in her memorials. We have a small local group that will be working together and I am very excited about seeing everything come together!

Get a hold of me for anything. We all seem to have a lot going on, but we are all still coming together in the name of justice for Jennifer. Thank You!

Should it be Jennifer Renz Ramsaran?

Anyway;

Jennifer Ramsaran
Cruelty stole you
Snow cloaked you
Care found you
Love is your legacy

Jennifer Ramsaran
Taken too soon
Safe home now

Jennifer Ramsaran
Home where you belong

Jennifer Ramsaran
Cruelly taken. Lovingly reclaimed

A creative soul
Jennifer Ramsaran
Painting heaven now

Jennifer Ramsaran
Forever in our hearts
Justice on our minds

Jennifer Ramsaran
When you were taken
The heavens wept

We miss you Jennifer

Jennifer Renz Ramsaran
Love. Kindness. Creativity

Double post but I have been taking photos today and will try and post one here in a minute

Here is one. I thought for a sculpture, a ribbon-like effect like this would be easy to achieve with metal, maybe with Jennifer's name in the center? Not too heavy, or dull. A little free flowing.

These ones all went wrong because they were out of focus, but I took some blue watercolor paint and streaked white through it and it made some wonderful shapes and patterns. I wondered if this might provide an idea for Jennifer's sculpture?

Strangely enough with you mentioning knitting, upstate, I have some giant knitting needles and tomorrow I was going to go off on a hunt for blue wool, to try and make some photos with them!

If I get a good one, I'll post it.

Just in case anyone thinks that metal sculptures are harsh and heavy, take a look at these. Look at the artist too. A shaven-headed 'tough guy' making beautiful butterflies. He doesn't care about living up to any image or stereotype. True strength always lies in creating, not taking away, in my opinion.

Did you do your tree, nanasbabes? We had really bad storms here, so I couldn't do mine.
