Lavanda, you are obviously a staunch believer in GR's innocence. Do you have information that is not being released to the public? Information that came from someone other than GR? We may be "skewed" here with the little info we are privy to, but remember- we are all getting most of our insights from GR himself. It's all a matter of perspective. IMO

A thought just popped into mind, and I haven't thought it all the way through yet, but.....

GR and ES both have family members with epilepsy - ES's kid, and GR's mom - and they've done fundraising together for awareness.

I'm just wondering when GR and JR met ES. Was JR friends with ES first, and then GR met her and they discovered that they had the epilepsy thing in common? Would this be a huge coincidence, that they would both have close family members so highly affected by epilepsy, or not really?

Could it be possible that GR connected to ES online before moving to New York, formed an intimate relationship with her, and moved there to be close to her? Or did GR/JR move to New York for some other reason?
 
FWIW... ES's address is the same city where JR's car was found....

What brought them to central NY where jobs are sparse??? IBM was in Binghamton, might still be, but that's an hour away. Interesting question. Was it somewhere JR wanted to be?

I consider that far-reaching, after all, Jennifer's parents lived there.

Also.... I must preface this by saying that it's pure speculation, b/c we have no idea if there was any abuse going on. BUT, abusers do typically isolate their victims (example: moving them away from family members). I wonder if GR was already emotionally connected and/or interested in ES, and encouraged a frienship between ES and JR as a way of feeling some sense of satisfaction and control. Did JR have any good friends other than ES?

As for her parents living next door, I don't think this proves anything. They weren't there all they time, and they weren't under the same roof.

Did Jennifer's parents live there first, and GR and JR moved next door, were JR/GR there and Jennifer's parents moved next door. It all looks like the same parcel area... however that area was recently up for sub-division with the town.

Good points. I really think this is going to be deeper and uglier than we realize. I hope Jennifer's children have excellent grandparents.
 
Another thought that's swirling around in my mind (someone else had this idea, but I don't remember who or where, I'm sorry) --- Is it at all possible that GR was the one talking to JR through online gaming?? Could he have created a fake account, fixed it so that his IP couldn't be traced, and then started talking to JR pretending to be some other guy? If he planned anything ahead of time, maybe he did this so that there would be "evidence" that she was drifting away from the family. He would have known exactly how to get her interested and talking. Or maybe he wasn't initially planning anything, but was being controlling and paranoid and wanted to learn her inner thoughts, or find out if she knew about the affair, or whatever.

I do believe that she may have been talking to someone online, FWIW.
