Did Jennifer's parents live there first, and GR and JR moved next door, were JR/GR there and Jennifer's parents moved next door. It all looks like the same parcel area... however that area was recently up for sub-division with the town.

Good question.

It would be interesting to see if it is the same parcel of land, and if not did LE search both parcels?

How awkward.
'did I pass the lie detector?'
'we'd rather not say.'
'oh.'

Thanks for that article Jillian, new bits I hadn't seen before.

Good points. I really think this is going to be deeper and uglier than we realize. I hope Jennifer's children have excellent grandparents.

I hope so too. From the little bit of stuff I've seen about JRs family online they look like really nice folks. this must be horrible for them, and I hope they're holding up ok.

Yep so strange. Do they usually not tell people if they passed or not?

This interview is very interesting in comparison to another interview we have seen.
This is Jill Meagher's husband doing an interview only 2 days after she had gone missing. (she was of course found a week or so later having been killed at random by a repeat offender)
Notice how he says he is doing as much media as he can so they can find her? Hardy no mention of himself.
It actually upsets me watching this, I can feel his pain.

Perhaps LaVonda can give us the timeline of events in the morning (exactly what GR did ("since he has nothing to hide") - his route to and from the Y what GR thinks the cell phone just "turned on" the next day??

Also, The answer to whether if GR/JR lived there on Sheff Road first, and if JR's parents then moved next door, or if it was the Opposite (JR's parents lived there first and JR/GR moved next door).

Also, if he truly did work from home, they could have lived anywhere... so why this area (besides its beauty!!) - the ES relationship question??

This goes to understand the "Controlling piece" that LaVonda states (why would he live next door to his In-laws?" - to be better able to understand it.

This would also get me off the Theory of "Witness Protection" and all this talk about "Protecting my family" where she was just whisked away without any information.. this is one of my least probable theories since there is so much online about JR and GR.

Thanks LolaAngelina. Gosh that video is a hard watch. But yes, you can see him trying to help as much as possible- to be clear and informative. I know everyone's different but it is quite a contrast.

Another thought that's swirling around in my mind (someone else had this idea, but I don't remember who or where, I'm sorry) --- Is it at all possible that GR was the one talking to JR through online gaming?? Could he have created a fake account, fixed it so that his IP couldn't be traced, and then started talking to JR pretending to be some other guy? If he planned anything ahead of time, maybe he did this so that there would be "evidence" that she was drifting away from the family. He would have known exactly how to get her interested and talking. Or maybe he wasn't initially planning anything, but was being controlling and paranoid and wanted to learn her inner thoughts, or find out if she knew about the affair, or whatever.

I do believe that she may have been talking to someone online, FWIW.

That is beyond creepy.

Of course they do, IMO. They did when I had to take one for a criminal matter. And those who failed were asked to take another. I wonder if he was asked to take another.

GR has offered to assist in helping find Jennifer, right?

His actions tell me that's true ~ unless it consists of 1) actually searching, 2) condoning searching by others, 3) securing billboards, 4) printing and passing out flyers, 5) hiring his own PI, 6) hiring a reputable missing persons' agency (like CUE, whose services were secured, but not by him), 7) referring to JR in the present tense, 8) arranging media interviews during which he doesn't blatantly bash his wife and state his children don't miss their mother as she was, 9) supporting her parents and other loved ones, 10) refraining from seeing his mistress, 11) refraining from using a psychic as his primary spokesperson throughout the majority of the investigation, 12) supporting other sites (ie. Help Find Jennifer Ramsaran FB page), 13) joining in collaboration with that site as offered, 14) refraining from public outbursts against searches and doing all he can to stop them, 15) etc., etc....

Just a thought...or 15...

Good question.

GR and JR were living in Arizona at the same time as JR's parents. After a while, GR and JR moved to their present location in NY and soon afterwards, wanting to be near their family, JR's folks followed. They live next door to GR and JR for most of the year, but do live in their Arizona home during the winter months.

Husband holds hope missing wife Jill Meagher will be found - YouTube

this was heartbreaking to watch.
and a complete 180 from the interviews GR gave.
it looked like this poor man's knees were going to buckle from the weight of his grief, and yet he focused hard on answer the questions, and the importance of getting the word out there about his missing wife.
this was a total selfless interview, unlike the ones GR gave, IMO.
the body language and other nonverbal communication are also completely different, which is very telling, again IMO.

Tried uploading it, but it wasn't working.. .now it is.

( this is an update to a post I made in thread one- now that I can see the back of the van)

The 2006 T & C Van is front wheel drive- she had a Touring or Limited model, it has traction control, and a 3.8L V6 which acts like a V8- and it is strong enough to tow.

Traction control "Traction control helps limit tire slip in acceleration on slippery surfaces."

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/28000-traction-control-explained.htm

Depending on where the mud is located, spray pattern, thickness, etc.- it would be possible to tell if this van got stuck, needed to be pushed or towed out, or was in more of a muddy puddle type situation. Of course, the type of soil this mud is made up of can be traced to particular areas.

ETA: The oxygen sensor in this van- every model- is extremely sensitive- if it got clogged with mud, or got wet, the van may bog ( like it's going to stall ) and have problems with acceleration. There may have been a delay in the ability to drive this van until the undercarriage dried out.

It has a 20 gallon fuel tank. It is supposed to get 19/24mpg, but in actuality, it is closer to 17/20mpg. So, it is possible to figure out about how much gas should have been used to get to where the van was found from her home.

** Off RoadRunner- do you know the speed limit on the roads between her home and where it was found? The mileage is on the google map- maybe you could figure out how much gallons should have been used ?

Her van was found ~8 miles from her home. Her road, Sheff Road, is a secondary paved road, can easily travel 50mph on it. State Route 23 goes all the way to where her van was found, as well as the her cell phone..... but what is wierd is that her van's found location is in between her home and cell phone.. meaning her cell phone was found ~5 miles further west than her van. SR23 is 55mph to the city of Norwich limits, then 30mph all the way to where he car was parked. Then, right where he van was found, it goes back to 55mph from 30mph... and 55mph all the way to where her cell phone is.

Hope that helps.

Just a couple things as I was reading the thread that popped into my head while reading others thoughts:

The find my iPhone app can definitely be used by an iPad or an iPhone it does not have to be used by a computer. I have it open right now on my iPad and its showing me all the other iPads and iPhones in my house with their respective names ie gabbys iPad, Julia's iPhone, etc with the time in which it was located (30 seconds ago)

Also...uh I forgot LOL. Darn it I need to start jotting stuff down when I'm a few pages behind because now I forgot what else I was going to say!

One of my original thoughts (in thread #1) was that GR stating he filled the gas tank was that if he didn't fill it completely, this would change the search radius if LE were working out the distance travelled via the amount of gas. I believe you could attempt to work it out, but I very much doubt it would be accurate unless you believe that GR did "fill" the tank.
