I had an office meeting this a.m. There were 13 of us in attendance. Only 1 person had heard of Jennifer's case and that was only because they saw GR's interview the other night. No one else was aware that there was a missing persons case in the area. ...*sigh*... (They know now).
Anyway, this person, who saw GR's interview, said they felt the whole thing was very inconsiderate and insincere. They could only remember one statement from the whole interview and that was..."the kids miss the "old" jennifer from 9 months ago".

This person also said to me "apparently the missing woman used to be fat?". Ugh!:furious:

Just thought I'd throw out an example of what people who are not so "connected" to this case took away from the media interviews. Not good.


I'm still holding out hope that she left....

And if she did leave, after seeing that interview, can you think of one reason why she'd even bother coming back?! GR made it sound like the kids don't even want her anymore. :furious:

The two video interviews and the latest DailyStar story REALLY changed my view of GR.

I saw my best friend thru a really nasty divorce, her ex husband was so overtly mean during the entire process, he keyed her car and slashed her tires but during the whole thing he never tried to influence the children with words. Just an observation about behavior and something that's been on my mind.

It just speaks volumes to me that GR would comment on how the children supposedly feel.

I too still hope she is unharmed physically but I pretty firmly believe that there may have been psychological damage. Just my opinion.

I read a lot about gaslighting this morning and I found it very interesting.

My line of thinking about my friends ex is that he screamed and intimidated and made a lot of threats but he never actually did anything to physically harm her. All talk.

Which led me to think about a phrase I hear a lot in MSM "he always seemed like such a quiet & nice guy"

Gaslighting is a new term to me, as well, so I hope i use it correctly here

I'm sure GR was gaslighting Jennifer about the affair, no doubt. Can you only imagine how it would feel for your husband to be spending so much time with your best friend?? I'm sure some kind of radar would go off, being that it's practically right under your nose, but you'd want to think that surely the two people closest to you wouldn't do that to you. I can see JR getting confused and suspecting something, but refusing to believe it, telling herself she's overreacting about their friendship, blaming herself for being suspicious, etc. Definitely "crazy making", to use Clue's term!

I wanted to add, too, that GR is pretty much gaslighting the public here, as well. I don't know about you guys, but I know that I myself am going a bit crazy between half-way believing what he's saying, and seeing the obvious!

Gotta mention, too, that EVERYTHING about Jennifer having run away is coming from HIM. No one else is saying it. Her parents aren't speaking out, pleading with Jennifer to come home. Her friends aren't giving interviews about how much she's "changed". Every single bit of it is coming from one person, and one person only.

I was brainstorming today while waiting for my daughter to get out of class, and jotted down a million questions. Most of them I'm afraid are off limits.......But, I was able to develop a working theory that makes sense IMO even if I can't divulge it on here.

So here are a a few "safe" questions:

On this post by Lavanda, it says luminol was used throughout GR's home. Was it also used inside the van??

How much gas was in the van when it was found? How much did GR really put in it? Could this be verified with gas station cameras?

Do we know if any of the Ramsaran family has experience with or has owned any guns?

Do we know of any of GR's normal/ususal running paths? Or does he vary it a lot?

What time was it that JR left the home?

I'm afraid there is not. Initially indicated Jennifer's departure somewhere between 10:00 - 11:00 but later settled on 10:30 as a more accurate time.

Edit: As far as I know, the return time of 5:30 has not changed since first reported.

Now what? I wonder if the mods will open up some general convo about what may have happened in her home or her vehicle.

Respectfully - knowing somebody behind this event has been posting here - it seems a bit unnecessary to state this in the press release:

"Jennifer is 5'5" and weighs approx. 190lbs. She has lost a significant amount of weight prior to her disappearance."

I can understand people close to her revealing this in talking about lifestyle changes that may have something to do with her going missing. But how does this info help anyone looking for her now?

It almost implies the public should only keep their eyes open for 190lb women who look like they used to weigh more.

I would get it if they said she was thinner than in the photo- because from the looks of the pics we've seen her face did become significantly thinner. However the way it reads suggests that the photo is of her at 190, which I don't think it is?
