I'm serious - why did they kill Joey? The cigarette argument? That's seems really strange. Maybe they did argue about Joey leaving (but why?), but how in the world would that escalate into murder.....a murder that was brutal to the physically fit and strong victim but left the faces of the other guys untouched.
They are all partying together, seems fine...and then Joey is stabbed, thrown from a window, burned, and buried in an abandoned lot.
Why? Given what we know,
what scenario makes sense? We've tried a few out, but none answer all the questions.
