I did hear Pat Brown say she thinks this guy is a sexual sadist, that he enjoys the power he feels over the victims. She is 'sure' that he has a place to take them to - has to she says, as he relishes in tormenting, abusing and then killing them.

They have cleared the guy who had the appointment with Shannan that day. This has been posted before, in other links. That was even mentioned earlier on Jane Velez Mitchell.

I have no idea where Nancy is getting these dates. But she is trying to say that the last 4 bodies found went missing in December 2010, January 2011 and April 2011.

Well THAT would be a trick... to go missing in April of 2011... be killed... and have your body be dumped in that area they are doing a massive search all within 72 hours? I don't think so.

I don't know where she got the dates, but there is no way they are going to be accurate in my opinion. I think these bodies will probably be like the others... 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010... something like that.
 
Behind in reading...have they gone home to home interviewing everyone in this gated community? Heck, I hope so.

Well now that's interesting. Maybe he uses the bags to keep the bones together if he renders the flesh from them.

I suddenly feel very encouraged that LE will find this guy. There are only so many people in that gated community, right? There is a reason LE keeps going back to Oak Beach to search. The FBI, which has been involved since last year, can now narrow down by separating out their profile, running computer searches to narrow the field and bring the possible suspects down to a low #.

I don't understand how they 'cleared' the guy already. He apparently made an appt with the missing escort. She ran from his home un sheer terror calling 911 and knocking on doors before disappearing forever.
So, did she just run into a 'killer' after running from this customers house?

And this guy just happened to live a few hundred feet away from a killing field?

IDK.

About the call.

Did anyone else hear the part on NG when the reporter was saying the reason it took so long to locate the area to respond to the call is because Shannon thought she was in Jones Beach Are when in fact she was in Oak beach. That made me think whatever Shannon was afraid of was in Jones beach and not in Oak beach.

She would have known where she was going for her call. Didnt one of the articles mention her driver did not know where she was? I might be mistaken but I thought I saw a post that questioned why he didnt know where she was if he was the driver.
 
Reannan and those who mention the importance of the burlap, i definitely agree that it's part of his m.o. how it exactly fits into possibly his rituals i don't know...
burlap i had heard decomposes, so it's possible along with the remains they found remains of the burlap as well.

i've been thinking. they released jb's name, yet not the name of the driver.

the search is closing in around jb's hood now. (just finished watching nancy grace)

we never got the name of sg's driver. yet we got the name of jb and his info. maybe shannon's driver is some type of witness. that would be a good reason to keep his name and info quiet, if le thought there would be a risk to the driver.

what if sg's driver actually heard or saw or knows something from that night? he drove shannon there. had shannon thought the driver was going to kill her, it's likely she would not have gotten in the car with him to begin with, or would have freaked out about it.

we've heard about about jb mentioned here and there in the media. now we see the search closing in towards his backyard practicly.

those who have mentioned that sg running from jb's house that night; then to later have le find 8 bodies is one heck of a coincidence, i agree.

i don't think this is a coincidence. possibly le is playing a game of chess with the killer, trying to knock his rook, to see what type of move he makes next.

we don't have a history shannon calling 911 during other jobs with johns, it would have came out now. also with her job not being exactly legal, it's the last thing she would want to do, especially with a pimp over her head.

somehow she knew her life was in danger. was there rumors among circles of high priced call girls about a killer john or people never returning from long island? was shannon nervous about this and knew something?

at what point during the time sg was over jb's house did she start to feel her life was in danger?

does anyone remember jb's neighbor's recount about how he was outside with a friend at 2am putting something into a uhaul truck with only a tiny light on?

the only reason i can think of for someone to not use lights to really see what they are doing is that what they are doing is shady and illegal and they don't want the neighbors to see.

despite small details here and there, who is jb really? does he have a family? what does he do for work? who are his neighbors?

despite police clearing him, it won't be the first time they've "cleared" someone only to have them suspect later on...

they sure are moving in towards jb's area.

So the driver took her to the wrong place, where she felt her life was in danger? And the driver told the neighbor who answered the door that he shouldn't have called the police?

I'm thinking the driver sounds more hinky than JB. Or maybe they're both in it. And some kind of organized crime connection seems far from impossible.

I think I need to go back and read for the post. JB Called the driver to pick her up because she was behaving badly and would not leave his home.

Is that where the driver dropped her off though? Maybe the driver did drop her off in Jones Beach and somehow she ended up with JB but maybe he was not who she was with the whole time.

Let me go find the post from earlier with the link."if' I am not mistaken.

I thought she ran up to this old 76 yr old man's house {his last name begins with O} and then ran off screaming. I never heard she ran from her 'date's' house. :waitasec::waitasec::waitasec:
 
This is what I had saved about SG driver.

Shannon Maria Gilbert, was last seen by her "driver'' in the beach town acting "delirious" and running away, according to the missing persons report filed in May.

"She was visiting a 'client' whom she met through Craigslist and ... refused to leave the 'client's' residence.

Gilbert, who police describe as a prostitute, had arranged to meet a client on Fire Island and drove there with her boyfriend.

The boyfriend, who police believe was also her pimp, told cops he last saw her on May 1 at 6 a.m.

I'm totally confused now. I found a link which I posted here before that she was headed to a house on Fire Island for a 'date'. Suddenly it became JT's house and he lives in Oak Beach in the gated community.
 
Yeah, it is confusing.

I'm also not understanding how the police cleared this guy so quickly, that really doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I mean, how can you say for sure that anyone is innocent in a case like this? Especially someone that fits a few of the circumstances of the case, in that he pays for prostitutes off of craigslist, while also lives right near the area that the bodies are dumped.

Like someone else said, if this guy isn't the killer, it sure is a very very big coincidence that he has so much in common with whoever the killer is.
