After reading 1900 or so posts on this site, who knows how many FB postings, articles etc...my head is spinning trying to separate fact/opinion/speculation/rumor. Where was it ever confirmed that RM was a foreman? I don't recall that. Personally, I don't believe it has a hell of a lot of bearing on the case. However, .......

So the foreman would normally have the tools? Can those be scrapped?

I think you missed my point.
The foreman does have control of his workers, expense accounts, purchases, tools, materials etc.
Tools are probably more valuable as is.
They are very expensive to replace.

I want to add something else, sorry to blahblahblah.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with RM.
It's just bothering me.

I know from experience that there are many, many stand up, honest guys working out there, I've met them.

My ex-electrician boss was earning $150,000 +/year with the union.
He cashed out his union $ for maybe $250,000.
I know, because I did some of the bookkeeping. (hated it, it was a side job)

I believe he lost his union job (ex-boss) for nefarious reasons. :twocents:
He also scammed me and 2 young guys out of all our with holding taxes.
He took it from us and never paid federal, state etc.

:stormingmad::stormingmad::stormingmad:

Based on these numbers and in my own opinion since the beginning, the Mayers lived a lifestyle WAY beyond their means. Where was/did/does the money come from?

No. Got it. Just didnt know if the tools could be "something" or not.
Now i think...maybe they are.
Many machine shops in huntington, where phone pinged...
Could have provided alot more pocket money
Just thinking out loud.

Not in the least. He's a family man. Probably a very dedicated one. He sounds very routine as well. Why would it be odd for a man to cling to his wife and or a wife to her husband, to be together every single night? But my impression of the statement is that it is not like her husband to stay the night elsewhere. Ever. People read way too much into this woman's statements. JMO.

Excuse me.... I read what the woman said and it struck me as odd!
I know a lot of family men! Men that love hanging around the house and being with family but they do at times go places without the wife and kids.

Sorry but I think he's been away a time or two!

Maybe he wanted to do things away from the family?
All we have are the wifes statements hes not here to speak for himself!

I know, it's hard.
IIRC IM stated he was foreman. I could be wrong.
I have no intention of reading all those FB posts (BTW, not a member there)

Some things stick, and that was one of them. :twocents:

Clemenza, i remember IM said he was the foreman on the job when she was asked about his position.

Why was WS deleted from the FB page??
Too much info? Too many ideas?

If you go to the search icon, click on it, and type in, "foreman", the answer comes right up. Per Ida, he was the foreman. You can put any search term you like in their for a quick answer, and it sure beats reading for hours! Hope it helps:).

So that means when she testifies to her husband's character, we should question it. Ok. Got it.

She DID NOT say that he never went anywhere or did things without her, just that he was with her, at home, every night.

Who said anything about anyones character?

I just said I found it odd.

Why would LE still have the car, if there was nothing to investigate?

How long does it take to process DNA samples? For instance, blood, hair fibers, clothing fibers etc ? I have no idea. Could RM have been in the trunk at any point?
