They were also able to hang sheets across the bars for extended periods of time for privacy above and beyond toilet use. There was an article outlining issues that led to the escape. I only commented "Wow" and moved on so as to not descend into something that reads like LE bashing, because it's hard to discuss things like this without it beinig taken that way. But yeah. It was ridiculous.

I just don't understand. What sort of tool can be found in frozen hamburger patties? Or even a frozen say, 5 pound tube?

A frozen hamburger patty isn't going to yield anything. A very tiny file or whatever. Maybe. But that isn't how they cut through metal pipes! LOL!!

And if in a 5 pound tube...there are a lot of accomplices to pull that off! First, the packager. Then the person who doesn't put the meat through the metal detector. Then the person to make sure it is one of the #DickSweat team that is given the meat.

I don't know. I guess they had to get them somehow. Where is the money coming from, because no one is doing this kind of thing just "cause they wanna see if it can be done". IMO anyway!!!

You ever heard of that new game show on HLN called "Keywords". Imagine trying to tell a friend what "keywords" to use to search the internet to find out the latest about this prison break?

Instead of the obvious like "Jailbreak" or "Escape", you would be better off telling them to use any of the following:
-Dirty Underwear
-Bloody Socks
-Hunk
-Meat Locker
-Well Endowed
-Cheater
-Tilly
-Hunting Cabin

Privacy, guard-buddies, sex, civilian clothes, jobs, cooking their own meals....and this was in maximum custody??? Really can't wrap my brain around that. What was the next step down in custody? An honor system for leaving prison during the day and being expected to return? With gifts of Starbuck coupons and cab fare for those who do favors for the guards?

As for the camp being owned by CO's. What an incredible coincidence ( yah, right) if that's true, that the escapees stumbled upon that camp, of all the cabins in all those miles of woods in every direction.

drill bits aren't that big. hacksaw blades thin and not wide and not terribly long though i would think it would require a 5 lb tube like you just mentioned for that one. I doubt the lighted eyeglasses were in there though JMO

If a hunting cabin has a mailbox (unlikely, if it's only used on occasional weekends), it would be out on the main road

Dumb question....bloody socks? Because why? Not likely from tripping over branches in the woods or the like if wearing shoes. Hurt during initial escape mebbe?

Discarded underwear. Suggests maybe they've been in this location for awhile? Otherwise, ewww, same underwear for 2 weeks? Why take them off now and not earlier? And why leave for trackers to find?

These guys might be smart in some ways, but trusting Tillie to actually show up? Could they really have been that sure of their charms?
