Father hesitated before he said "She ran" to question of how she escaped.
She ran could have more than one meaning.

Whatever occurred, I think she was traumatized and very frightened.
Would Lachelle still be in hospital for an injured foot? Maybe a burn I guess......or maybe more.
I hope she has lots of support, and therapy if needed. She also seemingly has a close family.

There was no information given in the press conference, other than the fact that Lachelle has injuries and is still hospitalized. It is an ongoing investigation.

I'm sad to see victim blaming without facts to back it up.
