Okay I went through every single name on these two database pages:

I eliminated unsolved murders prior to 1985 (when he was released from jail) and also between approx 1998-2003 (when he was behind bars again). The following are the names of women who fit the known criteria previously provided in the last three pages.

-Found on the floor next to her bed with several stab wounds

-Hillard, OH (Franklin County)

-Found floating, death ruled homicide

Grace S. Kennedy

-Bryan, OH (Williams County)
-12/23/2009
-Found in bed deceased, ruled homicide

Priscilla Dawn Hickman

-Heath, Ohio (Licking County)

-Strangled, hidden in closet

That's OK! He both strangled and stabbed his victims! You did amazing work and it is a lot to go on and study.

From my husband:
Typical arsons would have been made to look like an electrical fire. Kleenex would have been shoved behind a light socket and lit. The kleenex would burn away leaving no evidence and create the appearance that it was faulty wiring.
Any shootings would have probably been committed with a 9 by 18mm 9mm pistol. This is the gun that he calls his "baby" and is his favorite gun. He carries it everywhere with him. Even in his truck. LE knows this. LE has never attempted to pull him over.

I'm sure some of them overlap with Anthony Sowell, so I'm currently going through those believed to be his victims...
 
The suspect in the last link you posted doesn't match my FIL at all unfortunately. FIL has long gray and white hair and a long gray and white beard. Only one tattoo on the upper arm and his height is about 5'9 to 6'0 at the most. He is very slightly built but very strong. He wears some type of head covering all year long. In the winter it is a stocking cap and in the summer it is a forehead sweat band. The only pants I've ever seen him wear are navy blue uniform pants. In the summer he mostly wears either a plain T-shirt or a sleeveless T-shirt. In the winter he almost always wears the same thing but with a heavy flannel over the top. Shoes wise, I've only seen him wear black high top work boots.

I"m still going over all the links you've posted in between daily chores with 3 kids and a husband! LOL! :)
 
I am just now trying to catch up... MinLynn stay safe! So FIL has lived in Ohio and may have traveled to PA. He was arrested in Topeka... was the crime committed in Kansas? Was there a mention of Florida also? Sorry just trying to catch up to speed.
 
No mention of FL to our knowledge though he did travel to FL annually with his parents for several years.

He murdered a taxi driver in 1968 in Topeka, Kansas and was arrested with 2 other men for that crime. There are newspaper articles about that as well but they list his name so I can't post that info here.
 
MinLynn... Also what are the newspapers in your area so I can search the archives. Thanks!
 
From everything I know he targets middle-aged to elderly white women. It seems that the older he gets, the older his target. Possibly stemming from issues he had with his mother.

The newspapers that are prominent here are The Canton Repository (unfortunately they are all pay now and that's why none of my previously posted links are working.) The Akron Beacon Journal, The Press News are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
