Worley questioned about incest w/mom (he denied). Jury read letters she sent him: “I sure do love the times we were together even though you were always the boss” On movies they watched "I always liked to see the good part and closed my eyes on the bad part.”

Court adjourned at 4:30 and picks up again tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.

The Blade is saying a girlfriend in the 70's and then a prositute maybe 2000 is what I am making of it. I need to figure out how to link this on my phone.

Thanks again, Belle. It has more info than most. Here’s the linked article for us:

http://www.toledoblade.com/Courts/2018/04/03/Defense-makes-case-for-life-in-prison-for-Worley.html
While the recording was at times garbled and the interview meandered in subject matter, Ms. Barlow mentioned a woman killed in the 1970s who Worley had described as "the love of his life," as well as a woman described as a prostitute who went missing in 2000.
"The authorities suspected him of killing her?" Mr. Ericson asked the sister about the missing woman. She said yes but added she had heard the woman was alive and working elsewhere. Neither woman was identified in the interview and neither set of attorneys asked additional questions.

Mike DeWine was called out to the property personally for a reason. I believe the FBI has more information/dirt on him and are just waiting for this trial to be over to level him with more charges. I still think he fits the criteria/mold of being a serial killer.

Totally agree!!

Wonder who his love was. He lived in town Swanton in the 70's if I recall. I wonder if the library has old obituaries. I know they have old newspapers.

After he is sentenced I see more info on opening cases being released in the next few months. I'm surprised investigators haven't been back to find more around the house. If he tried to dispose of SJ DNA around the farm as quick as he did with bleach and other things there probably isn't much there.

He graduated from Evergreen 1978 and then moved to Swanton? That is where I grew up. I thought he was there in the 80's. Wow then he lived close. I am now positive he was at places where I use to be. I do hope they find more evidence. More families need closure.

It's noted from previous Docs that he lived on Lincoln St. In Swanton in 1985, no previous actual address. Only noted he graduated from evergreen in 1978. My in-laws live in swanton but evergreen school district.

I graduated in 1980 from Swanton and lived there through 1985 then moved to Toledo. I think one news peice mentioned he had a college education? Where? We had lots of bonfires in the country and would bet he was creeping around. So tomorrow could be the day.

In post 278 Spellbound linked an article about today's eitnesses.

I heard an unverified story with little details after SJ was murdered. I'm curious to see if more information will come out.

There was a rash of disappearances and murders of women when Worley worked in downtown toledo at Art Iron. Also, there was a woman that went missing that went on a "date" with a guy who she told her mother she had a bad feeling about and to get his license plate. She never came home. When LE investigated, the car was a rental out of Delta. I have talked to the victims sister and she told me that when LE talked to the guy he said he dropped her off and knew nothing more. Amazingly, LE never told them who the guy was and the case just went cold. Anyone that thinks he hasn't killed before is not thinking right. He buried Ce 4 feet in the ground. He had practiced to perfection. He knew to bury them DEEP in the fields so no combine or tractor would bring them up.

Me too!

Sweet! Bravo and I are keeping tabs on anyone interested when we can arrange a time and place. This will be a good time, for sure. If anyone else would like to try to meet up with us give a heads up. When the weather is nice!

Yes I have sent friend requests to all who have expressed interest in meeting. That way Spellz and I can keep track.

If I miss anyone send me a friend request.

I would like some egg rolls.

Today is the day the jury decides, I don't think they will sit on it long. I do not wish death upon anyone but he has layed low for to long for all the women he has hurt over many years and deserves the death penalty. Either way he will sit on it for many years while he waits and rots.

http://www.swantonenterprise.com/news/7843/worley-painted-as-one-damaged-man

"Gary Ericson, a mitigation specialist, told the court he conducted a comprehensive search of all public records related to Worley. He said the defendant lived off his 96-year-old mother’s Social Security payments but was a conscientious caregiver with an attention to detail." [Ed. Yeah, he took care that his free meal ticket kept coming]

"He also played a tape of a lengthy interview conducted last year with Worley’s sister, CB, a sergeant and supervisor in the traffic division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Barlow delved into the family’s turbulent history that included an alcoholic father who physically abused their mother, Florence, when he drank" [Ed. Well, she turned out ok in same family]

....Much more at link

Attention to detail??? Lordy! from the pics inside that house it appears it hadn't received attention in years.
