Agreed. Likely a red herring. maybe someone parked it there so it would be fairly close for them to walk home?
 
One thing that bugs me is her mom and brother have both said she's very close to her family. But her FB doesn't have her mom, her brother, or even her brother's girlfriend on her friend's list. Unless she has another profile. But I've looked, under different variations of her name, and can't find another one that is active. It may not mean anything at all. I just find it peculiar.

A pinterest that is linked to a FB profile that is no longer active. Looks like she's liked a bunch of beauty tips and clothes things. Not really a pinterester (lol, is that a word?) so I have no idea what anything means on there or how to tell when it was last used.

Anne Hill was last seen at a gym at Northwest Expressway and Council Road.

Lori said Anne was supposed to have her braces removed this week, and it doesn’t make sense why she would run away before her appointment. Lori described her as a great student, an amazing daughter and incredibly close with her two brothers.

I agree it really doesn't make sense. I find it hard to believe that she would not only leave her car she just recently purchased on her own plus leave right before getting her braces off.

I hope I am wrong though. I hope she just needed to get away for a bit and is safe where she is.

Her father died of melanoma before her second birthday, and she was scheduled to have her braces removed on the 21st. She texted her mother at some point on the 11th to let her know about a job opening at her school; her mother called back when she was on break from work. That's pretty much all I learned there.

She was looking forward to getting her braces off on the 21st. Her dog just wanders around the house. She trained him for herself to be a therapy dog, and has spent hours and hours and hours at the hospital, comforting other people when they would come into the emergency room or be in intensive care. She spent -- she wouldn`t be anywhere else. She would be here with her family. She`s got too many things that she cares about and she knows we all care about her. She would be here if she could.

On Tuesday, Oklahoma City police said they have received a few tips about Hill’s whereabouts but are still searching for her.

Police spoke with two of Hill’s friends, one of whom said she had been hanging out with “some bad people” and that he was concerned for her safety.

The officer stated a male said he last spoke with Anne at 2200 hours that evening about going to the movies; he last saw her at a McDonald’s at about 1600 hours that Friday. He said she had been hanging around some bad people and he was concerned, the officer stated.

A second male said the previous night, he and Anne were at his brother’s residence in Edmond watching movies, the officer stated.

He said she left alone after the movie ended and he did not know where she went or who she went with, the officer stated. He said his brother lives close to the university but was unsure exactly where. He did not know what she was wearing, the officer stated.

So she was with the two brothers on Friday the 11th and not Thursday the 10th? Is that correct?

I would think mom would have called said friend, if she knew her/him. I don't see anything that the friend said one word. Maybe it's just not been told. Tid-bits of info coming out, but not that. JMO

What I'm wondering know is didn't this Guy state earlier that he thought she was going to his brothers house, but didn't know where his brother lived?

I'm wondering if the brother's were the 'bad people's at McDonald's now? Did they even verify that she was at McDonald's?

So the mom was in contact with her Friday via text from school. I'm taking that she didn't come home at all that day or maybe before her mom got home to change clothes?

Any teen can develop a rebellious streak but this girl was an honor student, so she took school seriously. She bought the car with her own money and had just gotten it, her first car. Who abandons their first car that they bought with their own money, especially at 16 years old. She sounded quite responsible and also family oriented. Even if she started out to go with someone willingly, even for a walk, things could have turned bad from there. I am scared for this girl.

IMO. Anne went to the last person she spoke to on her phone. She had been hanging out with him and his brother in recent days. And yet, he is very vague about many things, including where his brother lives. He was just at his brothers place the night before she disappeared!

Trying to piece it together, a lot of holes and mis-information, please help if you think I'm missing something or it doesn't appear correct:

I'm assuming this is Thursday:
A second male said the previous night (Thursday), he and Anne were at his brother’s residence in Edmond watching movies (isn't Edmond where her car was found?). He said she left alone after the movie ended and he did not know where she went or who she went with, the officer stated. He said his brother lives close to the university but was unsure exactly where. He did not know what she was wearing, the officer stated. Hill’s mother told the officer she last saw her daughter during the evening of April 10 (Thursday). Anne texted (?) her mother and said she was going to work out at a gym that Friday morning.

Assuming this is Friday:
Did she go to school that day after the gym? Did she not come home at all Thursday night? The gym verified she did show up Friday morning. Where is the gym, in OKC or Edmond? Did she get there with her car?

She isn't seen or heard from again until 4:00pm:
The officer stated a male last saw her (Friday) at a McDonald’s at about 4:00pm. (Is the McDonalds in Edmond or OKC? Did she have her car?) He said she had been hanging around some bad people and he was concerned. The officer said he last spoke with Anne at 10:00pm that evening about going to the movies (again, I'm assuming this is Friday. Did he speak to Anne about the "bad people" he saw her with earlier in the day at McDonalds?). Her mother last spoke with her during the evening of April 11 (Friday) via a text message. She said her daughter was not happy about not being able to stay out with her friends any longer, the officer stated. (Did she not stay out all Thursday night or did she come home??) The last person to see Hill said she left his brother’s home shortly before midnight April 11, but he did not know where she was going or who she was going with.

Her last known cell phone ping was in the vicinity of the University of Central Oklahoma. Was that on Friday night? It couldn't have been Thursday night if she was seen at the gym Friday morning (without her phone, perhaps?), did she go to school Friday, did it ping at McDonald's on Friday, too?

The one article goes on to say that Hill was last seen April 10 in the north Oklahoma City/Edmond area. Why didn't they say she was last seen at midnight on Friday, April 11th at the friend's brother's house?

I found the statement the friend said " I don't know where she went after she left or who she went with " strange. Why would he suggest she may have been with someone ?

I'm concerned too because that is the area where her phone last pinged.
 
How far from where the brothers were was her car found?

Her car was found three miles from UCO. The brother's home is somewhere near UCO. That's all we know at this point.
