This article describes what he did to his rape victim. It sounds to me like he was going to kill her after the rape (since he ordered her to take a shower and destroy her clothes-which wouldn't make much sense if he planned to let her go, since she knew him and could ID him) but she managed to escape. It wouldn't' surprise me at all if there were other victims.

OSBI sends dive teams to Okmulgee County crime scene

OSBI sends dive teams to Okmulgee County crime scene as questions linger over previous leadership in the mass murder case

According to Ivy Webster’s attorney, the OSBI had dive teams on the property and boats using sonar devices at at least one of the ponds. Crews left and took down crime scene tape at about 1pm Monday afternoon.

A nearby resident told 2News someone had been unusually digging and expanding this pond about six months ago and worked on it for a month.

The OSBI also brought in an excavator to the scene and the Medical Examiner was on the property as well. This after the OSBI has taken the lead of the case. There has been public confusion over who has been in charge from the initial investigation.

2News was told it was the District 25 Task Force, made up of multiple agencies and the District Attorney's Office.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff held the first press conference last Monday. By Wednesday, all questions were passed to Okmulgee Police Chief.

By Friday, calls were handled by the District Attorney, and by Saturday the OSBI.
Who was leading the case? We went in search for answers.

Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice told 2News Anchor Erin Christy she was part of causing the confusion, but didn’t elaborate and still only referred her to the OSBI. Police Chief Joe Prentice referred us to the District Attorney's Office, where we left a second message. The first message was left on Friday. As of this writing, we have not received a return call.

The victims family told me inside the house they discovered a ledger with a list of names and ages. The last names on the list were the family and girls killed last week.

I saw the new additional evidence video on Banfield last night, it was horrific. Wiatt said there were things that were too difficult to say. “I’m not sure if I can say it, I don’t even know how to describe it” She was overcome with anguish and didn’t say anything further.

Sounds like this perp (like many other similarly inclined perps) liked to keep trophies of his crimes. Local police appears to be incredibly incompetent to not trying to investigate fully the murders suicide and potential other crimes against other children. They just declared "oh we will never know what exactly he did and why he did what he did" (of course you won't know if you don't investigate, but he could have documented it all). Do we know of any other girls missing in the area?

Exactly. Not sure what confusion he is talking about. Police clearly didn't collect many pieces of evidence remaining on the scene. Relatives found electronic devices, cell phones, bloody clothing, polaroid photos, etc, that police didn't find (and obviusly didn't try hard to find). Electronic devices police left in the house (computers, laptops) were not even hidden. Restrains, chains, padlocks clearly visible were also left in the house and not collected. Multiple cell phones, including those of known victims, were left in the house. Receipt to a rented storage unit (what is in there?) was left in the house. Police should be ashamed for not doing a thorough investigation instead of pointing fingers at the media.

This case is getting even darker .... as if it were not bad enough already.

One thing has been weighing on my mind --- I am wondering -- surely all of this evidence and possible restraining (the kids ?) people, didn't suddenly happen the exact day of the murders !
My .02 is that there had been crimes committed for some time.

I wish the mom had been able to physically escape and get the children out of there if JM started to do horrible things to either the minors in that household, or to all of them.
