I see someone is posting on the McStay FB page that the Jamison's were located today, deceased. Has anyone found any MSM article to back up bodies being found?

Oh my gosh...so soon after the McStay mystery deepens with the discovery of the graves...this!

It's not been confirmed but I would wager this to be true...

I held out hope in this case...really thought it was possible...sigh...

It was me. If you go on Facebook the best friend of the family who has been running a page in their memory has announced it. I do not think she is lying, nothing in the media yet, but I think it is starting to be known.

Please remember copy/paste from social media sites is not allowed. Paraphrase the information and/or give info to tell how to find the particular post and provide the link.

Links to facebook are okay and very helpful.
If a site is determined to be outside what is allowed, the mods will let you know.

Thanks,

Salem

Nothing thus far on Tulsa World, Muskogee Phoenix, McAlester News-Capital, Sunday Oklahoman, or Tulsa television sites.

Not finding anything in MSM yet. The message that's been posted on the FB page is chilling. I guess there is no way of knowing if the poster is actually SJ's best friend. Lots of stuff to call into question here and I think I'll wait until there is MSM confirmation before I let my mind run too far.

Geez Louise, if it's true...what an odd coincidence.

EDIT: Threw this out to some folks I know in local media. Maybe someone will call the right person and get some confirmation.

Is anyone other than me finding it odd that the news has nothing about this, but the bodies were found "yesterday?" It does not make sense when the McStay news was in the media so quickly and surely journalists would be all over this by now? I do hope it is not a hoax.

I can't find anything either and given that the remains were found yesterday, I believe, I find it odd.

I sent off an email to the Daily Oklahoman. Hopefully they will answer it soon.

My oh my. If this is real, than its just so bizarre for both families to be found in the same week! Talk about waiting for a bus and two coming along at once...

Holding my breath with a heavy heart...

Yes, I do. But if the bodies were indeed discovered yesterday - let's say late-ish - then sent to the ME, with Sunday being a slow news day everywhere but really slow in OK, in terms of reporters working....well, we shall see.

(Possible hoax-like aspects: rumor of body discovery on obscure yet case-specific blog at 5:49am time stamp today; then much later in day, FB page, allowing for a build-up of excitement - FB page could have been hacked possibly - but not thinking it has been. And also the incredible timing of this, just after McStays....)

I guess we wait. I hope it is not a hoax that would be so cruel.

I haven't really followed this case very closely. They were to meet someone about buying land and had $30,000 in the truck but it was left undisturbed? Are their any theories on what happened? If they were meeting someone why didn't that person report the truck abandoned?

IIRC, the Jamison's never did receive as much media/public attention as the McStays. Although they were featured on Disappeared like the McStays. I always felt that because the Jamison's may have appeared less "wholesome" or because there were some indications of mental illness the media and public were less enamored by them.

I do think it is big news anyways and would be reported… but maybe not the same type of frenzied reporting that we saw when the McStay's were discovered.

Lots of theories in past threads. Does anyone know where a basic rundown of the case is?

I think they were just quirky, but even so they deserve media attention if they were found. Just breaks my heart.

You would think though, depending on what time the bodies were discovered, that there would be something, anything, about bodies being found or remains found or something. It is odd.

Also - it's a hot story. Or does the media not care about getting the scoop anymore?
