Outburst during JS hearing!

Please do not sleuth this woman. If MSM comes out with a court record then and only then will we be discussing her past. At the present time the judge accepted her mental health problems as a reason to not give her the maximum penalty. She has been assigned a public defender.

Please also do not accuse the defense of staging this unless you have something to back up your claims in MSM.

This was a very unfortunate incident from a woman on Social Security so at some point her medical records to having such illness have been reviewed.

I'm not sure it was authentic. ADHD (with the H) vs. ADD, is almost always detectable before the age of six.
It's not something that shows up at age 14, although ADD can go unnoticed but doesn't usually entail outbursts.

She uttered a bunch of illnesses so it would sound good. :twocents:
That said, it's clear she has something.

Depending on age ... no one had heard of ADD/ADHD 30 years ago. Nowadays it is Adult ADHD ... I can't remember hearing that 20 years ago - it was a kids thing.

I saw that too and was surprised that so many said she was enjoying this woman's groveling to the court. I saw sympathy and sadness in KC's face; it appeared so genuine. It caught me off guard. Where did it come from?

She was also breathing hard her chest rising and falling hard. I think she was uncomfortable with the emotions from the woman. Not that she herself was feeling sad, just that she does not respond well to high emotions from others.

Casey was heard in court saying something along the lines of "This is why these proceedings should not be open to the public."

I STRONGLY disagree. Perhaps there will be greater screening during trial but the public has a constitutional right to be privy to this. Despite Inmate Casey Anthony's opinions. MOO

Hasn't judges in the past barred the public from sitting in courtrooms due to certain circumstances?

Methodone treatment is a blessing to many who are addicted to opiates. I don't fault her one bit for receiving this tx. It's much easier to remain on opiates than to try and turn your life around and get treatment this way. Society would only benefit if all those addicted to prescription drugs would seek help in any way they can to get off them. I imagine she was addicted to oxycontin rather than heroin. Her two days off of methodone are going to be hell for her...they will not provide it in jail.

You know, I wouln't be surprised to see perjury charges down the line for this woman. I did not find her tears and hyper-ventilation anything but sorry that she was now in trouble. I would also like to know where her son is? She was willing to turn herself in immediately... hopefully her son is with loving relatives.

I am so mad at this woman because I think she knew what she was doing when she entered that courtroom and why did she remove her shoes??

Normally I'd agree with the above. The minute I saw the woman, I recognized her - now I have to figure out from where. My guess is she was one of the loud protesters in front of the A's house. She may have even had her small child with her. It may have been the night the young boy got his arm slammed in the car door. All these 'well meaning' peeps who are willing to expose their own children to this ugliness and put them in harms way. She MAY be one of those (I say 'may' because I have to find the proof.) If I'm right, there is no doubt in my mind that she entered the courtroom with an agenda.

By the looks of it this lady with the outburts in the Court room this morning does NOT appear to be the sam lady whose poor lil guy had his arm smashed in the van door during a fight.

Today was the first time I have ever seen ICA show any real emotion for another human being. If nothing else I'm glad this happened because I can now see that she is not totally cold and unfeeling.

I've just listened again to her list of ailments and I have a new concern for her. I am terribly concerned she is over-medicated and I can only hope there was at least one GP or psychiatrist who seeks her out to try to help her.

Over medicating could explain a lot of what we saw from her.

I was wondering that myself, as thorazine and seroquel are really heavy artillary and I dont know that they're often taken together....I know thorazine is usually only tried after others have failed as it has such bad effects, AND she is on methadone? I dont see how she was even able to stand.

Check out her rap sheet ( giving a false name to law enforcement and DUI). She is a liar and has been proven to be one.

She probably does not deserve this much attention though. There is probably nothing she says that one can trust. IMO

This woman is genuinely disturbed. When we would have people such as this brought into our jail/correctional center, we would treat them with compassion. She will be booked, then taken to see the nurse in Medical. The nurse will have to verify this woman's meds with her medical doctor and the methodone clinic. Her meds will be ordered through the jail once verified.

She will get her medication when she is there. The facility (jail) will have to pay for it because no one would be allowed to bring her medication from home. That is not allowed. From what I heard her say she takes, the medications will be very expensive and she cannot take them home with her. This sort of thing is hell on the facilities budget.

She will definately be placed in a cell by herself and be on suicide watch. All mentally disturbed are routinely on watch if they are this upset when they are brought in.

I do have compassion for this woman. I understand she has Bipolar among other things. Combined, she probably has little impulse control. I think she has learned a lesson, but will probably be laughing about it next week.

Contempt of Court is a misdemeanor.

Exactly what the DT is trying to impress upon the potential jurors.
Along with Post Traumatic Stress, possible "mental condition", brain abnormalities, lack of impulses and control, etc.

I feel sorry for this woman, but, my gut tells me that someone put her up to this and took advantage of her big time.
And, if this is case, they also did not tell her the ramifications of such an outburst. $20-$50 to a person in need can mean a lot.

PI Lyon's has been hanging around the court house and it wouldn't have taken to much time or energy to check the dockets, see who was involved with cases, and make a visit to someone. IMO, it would not be beneath him or the DT at this point.
I think that they "used Joy Wray" and took advantage of her, and who knows what else they have done undercover. {have always felt that Baez was behind the protesters as well, buts that another thread and story}

I won't say anymore, since we/I don't know if what I have speculated is true or not.....just my gut opinion on this go around.
