Did she ever make it to the store?
The Dollar General that Kelley walked to is on Renovo Rd. which appears to be a main road. It also backs a railroad and The Susqeuhanna River. It is approx. a 3 mile walk from Kelley's home to the DG.
I'm pretty sure Google Maps has the location wrong. If you use streetview, there is a dollar general store very close to her house - a few blocks away. I found it on their Dollar General Website - and it's listed as 13635 Renovo Road - and Google puts it miles west of where it actually is. I don't know how to post a map with a pin in it, but the actual store is located approximately half way between her house on 4th St. to the intersection of Renovo and Stouts Hill Road. A very easy and pleasant walk. Looking on Dollar General store websites, I found the statement "most Dollar General stores are open on Easter Sunday".
I was reading about this case on our local news FB page last night. According to the comments of her friends, the Dollar General was a stones throw from her house and Renovo is a very small town where people have no reservations about walking around at any time of day or night.
Hey MoM OT for a moment did u see where there is some new info on Eric Franks.
I have been following that case for a long time now and im glad something finally came out!
I wonder why people are saying she left at 3, if her friend saw her at 5:30?!? News reports say she left at 6. So,some isn't being truthful.
Also according to the article she is married and has children, I wonder where they were when she went missing.

I followed a lot of missing person cases and this one seems have so little details being shared. It seems she has a lot of friends out looking for her and so many of them talking about how her life revolved around her children, but very little information on her husband. This all just seems so very bizarre. I really hope there is a good outcome to this. Also wondering if they have searched HER home. The article talks about searching vacant houses. There was also talk about cameras nearby.
I wondered the same thing. From looking at her FB, it definitely appears that they are old enough to be able to give information. It was reported that they were home and had all dyed Easter eggs together just before she discovered that she had forgotten sweet potatoes.
Also people have been mentioning that the police should check her father's house which is now empty as well as comments on her fb recently about not letting someone get to her or bring her down and that karma will take care of them. I hope the police as I assume they have, looked I to her fb!
Does a Dollar Store have sweet potatoes?
A 3 mile walk from her home to the store? That's not really close in my opinion to walk it. It said dinner was ready and they realized they had forgotten sweet potatoes so she quickly ran out. That makes it seem like she would be in a hurry. I read somewhere that the store was only a block away from her home. Does anyone know exactly how far her home actually is from the store? How many homes or businesses are in between the two?
Where on her FB are you reading the karma comments? I can't seem to find them. Can you narrow it down for me--the date, please. TIA
Sorry for so many posts from me tonight. This case just strikes me as something really being off! I just read that it's been reported that it was actually her SISTER who found her wallet. Poor kids! I'm feeling like this won't be a happy outcome and it wasn't at the hands of a stranger!
I haven't read this. will you post a link to this information?
Snyder's sister, T.T. Wertz, told The Express she was the one to find the items alongside the sidewalk by Yesterday's Hotel & Restaurant, 100 Third St., along Route 120.
