Here are my reasons for doubting the husband is innocent..

- He took his daughters out of school in PA and moved them to NJ while this is all going on

- He's been abusive/controlling to Melissa in the past (court documents prove that)

- He does not help or cooperate with the Collingdale Police Department

- Her mother calls the chief of police every single day wanting to know if they have any leads but yet the Husband doesn't do any of this

- When asked if he wanted to say anything to Melissa on tv if she was out there watching he declined

- He has told more than one person she was found and lied

- Trained Dogs picked up the scent of human remains in the familys yard

- He lawyered up and lawyered up his daughters

- He claims her family/friends have kept him up to date on the case but her family/friends do not hear from him and he won't let them see his daughters

I know members of the Collingdale Police Department and the Detective working this case, If you want anyone to attempt to take you serious why not list a few facts to state why you believe it? I am sorry but this is my opinion only but I really see too many things pointing to him being the one who did it so I can't really see him being innocent but of course I'm not saying I can't be wrong.

Why would I do such a thing? Besides her still being missing I don't know much more then you. Just don't like how its hang the husband when no one knows anything.

BBM - because that way people would know your opinions in this case are based on inside knowledge and therefor hold more accuracy and perhaps investigative value than the average layperson's opinion.

And, even if you don't know MUCH more than anyone else, that little bit of extra information you have could contain a valuable key bit of info. Hopefully you've given that extra bit of info that isn't in MSM to LE.

It has nothing to do with basing anything or trying to prove other wise, There is no proof the husband did anything! So on what grounds do people have to say that the husband did it? You're going off the news, and the lawyer said she had a boyfriend and so both have moved on with other people. And I'm pretty sure 100% that they haven't talk to the girlfriend and other friends and family of the Husband.
<modsnip>

BBM - this is exactly why you should be a verified insider. We can only go off the news, as you pointed out.

You on the other hand would be allowed to post information that is NOT in the news if you were a verified insider and we would all take it as truth and you'd get your side out there on the internet where it would eventually be seen as accurate and truthful and other sites and media outlets would pick up on it and start to run with it.

There is no better way to get your truth out to people than to post it here.

IMHO.

here is the information on how to become a verified insider:

If you would like to add youself as an expert in a certain field or as an insider to a case, please send an email to wsverify@xmission.com.

If you do not wish to be identified as an expert in a certain area, we ask that you refrain from answering questions that are specifically directed to those that have been verified as specialist in their area and that you do not claim to be a professional in any area.

If a member posts with "expertise" please check to make sure they are on this list. If not, please do not take their post as professional information, but rather just as another opinion; much as you would with any member of the general posting membership.

Locals who are describing the area or are members of the gyms and that sort of thing do not need to be verified.

We only verify people who know the players or have been named in the media, etc. This does not include people who may befriend a player on internet social media and then wish to post about it.

If a member wants to post as a professional (a lawyer, shrink, and so on) or as a local/knows the people involved then they must email us at the following email.

wsverify@xmission.com

Please include:

The case
Your Websleuths name
Your phone number and a good time to call
Your real name
Location (City and State)
In the subject line please put your user name and which case you are asking to be verified on

All info will be kept strictly confidential.

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this could be related or not?

FBI agents and Philadelphia Police Marine Unit investigators combed the waters of the Schuylkill River, the surrounding bank and the sidewalk near the Kelly Drive this morning.

FBI spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski says that the FBI’s Underwater Search & Evidence Response Team (USERT) was searching the river under the Falls Bridge.

Since the search is part of an ongoing investigation, the FBI wouldn’t say what agents were searching for in the water.

I just can't wrap my mind around finding out that my husband was cheating on me for over a year by getting a bill in the mail for an infant seat for his new baby with the other woman. How absolutely gut-wrenching.

Where are you, Melissa? :(

i think i'm just going to sit here on my hands and be a good girl. :)

very glad to see some new eyes on the case and conversations going! Thank you for your input LonelyChild! We think a lot alike.

my #1 goal since the beginning was to find melissa. i'd much rather focus on finding her, but the thing is.. to focus on finding her, we don't really have much of a choice but to look at the situations and people surrounding her and her life so that we can understand how they act and whether or not they have motive to do harm to melissa. the people who have motive to do harm, then, have to be examined to figure out the places they might frequent or have access to (in their personal lives and career). all of these things MUST come from news sources or LE directly in order for us to even discuss them here.

i'm not here to try and argue whether or not the husband had something to do with her disappearance. i'll admit, many of his actions make me go 'hmmmm', but the truth of the matter is.. the focus is on finding melissa. whoever is responsible for her being missing will come afterwards. even if we don't see justice for her in our lifetime, i feel as though the person responsible will think about what they've done every day for the rest of their lives and will ultimately face the music when it's their turn to go.

all JMO.

still praying for you and your babies melissa.

if it waddles like a duck... quacks like a duck....

.... it's not a lizard.

quackquack.

no new news lately :( i'm still praying for you melissa. hang in there <3

Hm the house address is linked to a Mechanic's Lien for over $24,000 that was levied against the Rodriguezes in 2010.

Most people have debt issues in their past, though, seems like. Doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Jose was good for hiring people and not finishing what he started. The was a whole mess with a contractor he had hired to work on his house, too.

That article is a must read it's full of interesting tid bits.

The number of daily calls placed to investigators by Melissa’s mother, who holds out hope that someone will find her daughter alive? 119.

The number of times Melissa’s husband, Jose Rodriguez, has spoken to police since reporting his wife missing? Zero.

According to Adams, Jose Rodriguez is not a suspect in his estranged wife’s disappearance. It is still a missing person case.

There are, however, a number of issues investigators would like him to clear up.

“What stands out the most are the inconsistencies and discrepancies in his statements,” Leicht said. “Everything keeps going back to him.”

In his one and only interview with police, Rodriguez allegedly told detectives he had spoken with Melissa several times that weekend. However, phone records don’t show any calls between the two, police said.

I am glad to read that investigators are still on Melissa's case...

I hope they get the answers they (and her loved ones) need... Soon!
