I started reading about Elizabeth Porta when I started wondering what else was going on in 1976? drug bust zeroed in my attention. googled it and fell back to a cached 2010 link w/ Beth Doe info- .. - the thing is I looked at it like what if it's a chain of events that led up to it-
...
Michael Nelson dropped smuggled drugs in the USA 26 times, what did he do when everything went smoothly? what would have been the back up plan if they got busted?
she didn't get arrested with everyone else 13Dec1976 - or she was let go (probably working as a CI/DEA informant)- so what was the fall back plan?
call a number and go someplace to meet up and regroup? who else didn't get picked up by cops? first reports said 8 people caught, then 11- somehow magically 3 people got let go. that doesn't make much sense- first reports say no one was armed -then 2 people in the group auto pistols in later reports..
one of the guys in the van - Nils Nelson was a photographer. (black paint anyone?)
woodloch resort is about an hour drive north on 611 from Mt. Pocono- and yes she would have to take I80 either exit 5 (hamlin)or exit 7 at Promised land state park- to get on 590 where the resort is -

there are plenty of places with hunting cabins around that area- state game lands and woods ect. (another question is what one of these guys family owned a cabin in that area- because that would likely be where she was murdered).
I was thinking more of a what if the drop was a success -would they have gone to woodloch resort to celebrate and have a party? (I'm not saying a pregnant girl was going there to ski). it would have been 15-20million bucks worth of drugs in 1976 money! ...would be logical if they blamed her, because she wasn't caught up by the police when others were... I have no idea if anything I'm saying is right- but it all fits pretty well-
it's also kind of possible being that Nelson was near philly in the police charges section (upper darby) that he or his relations might have had cabins or went on vacations to the north eastern pa areas.
anyone check out Michael Nelson?

it's kind of logical that this guy had got caught for bad stuff- what I think is he didn't get caught for this yet- I think he's likely dead- and would have been released for Ohio conviction in 2007 if I remember right. (just because the police haven't made that little connection yet).
