I asked my husband not to let me watch this. I swear, I've already had a stroke and am not convinced this case wasn't partially to blame. I can barely read the comments....argh....my wounds are still too fresh!:banghead:

Mine are too. The only thing worse would have been Baez there talking too!

CM is such a child, such a schoolyard bully. I swear, he drives me up the wall. Take that verdict and stick it you know where, CM. It doesn't mean CRAP in the real world except that Casey is free to kill again. I don't know how he sleeps at night.

I did like Judge Alex. I liked that he and Ashton kept corralling CM. Two against one, who do you think is going to win, CM?
people like him can sleep at night because all that matters is that he defended a client and got her off - that's it, no more no less

Judge Alex asks why would she sit in jail for three years if she knew her child drown?
CM: She sat in jail for three years - she's tough
JA: to CM, she sat in jail because she would not listen to your requests for a plea bargain
CM: You lied in your book...
JA; Oh really enlighten me on that..

Moderator moves on... drat!!!!

Cheney rewriting history again like he did with the finger shooting incident. He denies what he doesn't want to explain.

It was interesting that CM said he didn't agree with Baez's OS. I wonder if that's really true. Then again, how could he not know what Baez was going to do and not stop him from doing it? Weren't they a team?

did the panel get paid?
Good question. Obviously not enough for the jury foreman to make the trip. His family wouldn't let him go? Doesn't this guy work in a school? Or is he in hiding like Casey?

PS- ya just know that Casey was watching tonight. So what do you think Casey? People believe your cr*p?

Jeff was great...he was surprised that CM believed Casey's 6th story about what happened (the one where George must have disposed of Caylee 'cause she had no idea where she was!!!).

CM wouldn't answer if they asked Casey if she did it. Now THAT I can understand.

Mine are too. The only thing worse would have been Baez there talking too!
hate to say it but I think JB got some sense from somewhere but not taking him off the list until I know for sure that fca didn't make money off of his book - like him helping to support her each month as payment for what he gets off of the book.
Good show but I did not watch some of the clips from trial, for instance the OS

Oh, Sooner...you take care of yourself!!

CM wanted to distance himself far, far away from the OS. Can't blame him.

I kept turning it on and off so maybe someone can answer this - the only applause I heard from the audience was when JeffA laid in to CM about sneering at scientific evidence not being productive - were there other times that the audience applauded?

Didn't Cheney once upon a time say he HADN'T read Jeff's book?

Thanks to all that gave updates. It sounds like cm was exposed as a bitter fool.

He knew. Had to, IMO.

I REALLY did not want to watch this, but I'm sooo glad I did.
It just confirmed to me what a liar CM is.
He said that KC wrote numerous letter to a jail mate that her father sexually abused her over and over again.
Lie Lie Lie.
Never happened.
It also tells me that the defense, at the time, told her to start writing letters in jail to use in her defense at trial time.
What a liar, sitting there in front of these law students.
Shame on him.

Judge Alex was awesome, I wish he would have been the judge in this trial.
He would have told those two lying lawyers what the law is, and what they can tell the jury and what not to tel them,
Shame on judge Perry.

Now all mad again.......KC should be in jail for killing her child.

ughh, gonne watch me some doc Martin.

OH, and realy wish that jury person would have been there and explain, you know what.

What a chicken....

bleh

The interviewer and Judge Alex were excellent! I could listen to those 2 all night. The questions were amazing on point-no shirking the issues. Jeff was outstanding and CM, well... I got the feeling he was never on good terms with JB at all, that's all I'll say about him for right now-didn't carefor the way that he took swipes about JA writing his book right out of the gate, besides other things.

Maybe there will be a chance to watch it again on youtube? I missed the last 20 minutes of it, but for the most part, still very interesting.

I know he said he'd buy CM lunch if he could explain somthing...was it why Casey would make a drowning look like a murder?? I can't remember...lol...but there was a response from the audience. Could have been one giant guffaw. :)

IMHO - Mason never read the letters- heck it was difficult enough for us to do - he trusted his lieutenants - conjecture and hyperbole - also he's a faker. He wants to be the wiley, venerable ole lawyer. Ship has sailed. Unfortunately, a number of members of his audience tonight will play that card in the future and win.

JA asked him if KC was not in on the "concealment" how the hell a hair from a dead child got in her car? CM said "who's hair is in your car right now?" JA responded "not a dead childs - I will swear to that - you will not find a dead childs hair in my car I will buy you lunch if you can find one". The audience laughed and clapped.
